My chickens roam free all day and boy do they root out many of my new planted flowers and young bushes.
The moment they see me digging and planting a new plant, for them is dinner time signal to come near and scratch at the base often braking branches off and digging pretty deep and killing my flowers.
I shoo them away but the moment I go back inside or im not at home they do as they please.
I'm in the process of downsizing and have been surprised how difficult it is for me.I'm sentimental over family things
I totally agree with your points, especially the downsizing. We purged 80% to move states and not pay to move items we didn't love or use. We are a family of 7 and I worried the kids would miss all the toys and games we purged, but not at all! Our lives got better, less depressive, less stressful and we started going out more and doing fun things. It's been 9 years since the 'great purge' and I've not missed a single item and grateful we did it. We're now on a 15 acre homestead with goats, pigs, turkeys, ducks and too many chickens to count! Life is good without the clutter or overstuffed home and in a smaller space.
That all sounds great😁
Just remember, don’t clutter up the Homestead with to many animals. Lots of people do it

Your advice is on point! We built our tiny house too. We are minimalist as well we used to leave 6 yrs in a travel trailer we lived like that semi off the grid But because we wanted electricity we moved. Anyhow Your property looks amazing! Hahaha I have come to realize that lantern tree is so perfect I better just enjoy looking at it. A lot of people ask why I don’t build another porch. It’s because I have such a beautiful view out of my front windows, I can see to the top of lantern tree. I would never block that with a covered porch

Hi I am a new subscriber and I was just watching some of your older videos like three worse breeds of chickens to get and I have both of those breeds besides the other one I have barred rock and Rhode Island reds and I’ve had my Rhode Island reds for a little while and I think they’re egg bound not really sure exactly what egg down is but they ain’t laying eggs no more what should I do is there a way to fix a egg bound chicken

Hey Becky hope you've been well you and your family and thank you for the video I enjoyed it but when I get my property I do not want a septic tank I'm looking for land in Pennsylvania and maybe Lancaster by the Amish that way there's no rules and no regulations that way I can do a composting toilets and live like the pioneers did just in the 21st century

Just don’t fool yourself, there are rules everywhere. Better check everything out first. Call the building and zoning office in the town you like and ask.☀️❤️☀️
