10 years ago, I was broke, dying and hooked on meth. Eventually, when God began to transform my life, part of my life change was to change my thinking about my money. I thank God for Dave Ramsay's teachings. Today, I have all four of my children, own a home and money in the bank. Most of all, I have my life back because of the Love of God! My favorite? Cutting debt!

My dad worked downtown when I was little. Since he owned his own business, I stayed in his office when school was out for the summer. Every morning we would meet a homeless family who had a daughter my age at the restaurant downstairs and they would eat breakfast with us. That is God. I didn't even realize it was unusual until I grew up... Your kids see what you do and learn from it.

I've been there myself about 10 years ago how I am doing now compared to 10 years ago absolute unbelievable difference I had to meet him on the bottom unfortunately and when I say bottom I was at the bottom. Now I got to say I'm much higher than I've ever been I surrendered to God in 2011 100% you know and every time I seem to screwed up in those last 10 years things start going downhill again but fortunately I stay focused now and do what I believe is his will

AdrianH1904 - God, the Father.... no mother here.... whether you realize it or not, has been watching over you, my friend. He knows who you are.. He made you. Jesus is His son, and he Did exist on earth, just as the Bible says. There are so many eye witnesses of his life and his return after he rose from the grave, so much documentation from other writers, too, from the years in & after that time, that science (yes) now says that it is not disputable that Jesus existed. Too much evidence that He did. (Jesus still exists, right now, just not in a permanent human form, on earth, as He did for those 33 years so long ago.) Would you choose to die for something that you know is a lie? Would you actually give your life for a lie? The 12 disciples, ordinary men, like you and me, saw him after he came back from death. They saw Him, spoke to Him, touched Him, ate with Him afterward .... they KNEW He was real, that what He did was real. Every one of the 12 apostles, but John, who wrote the remainder of the Bible, died horrible deaths for their knowing He did these things. They would not renounce what they knew was the truth, even to save their lives. Men will die for truth.. They Knew! They 100% believed in Jesus, because they knew Jesus was the Truth. Ask Jesus to show Himself to you. Ask Him to come into your life, Friend, and show you He is real. He will. Don't, worry at this time about being baptized. You would only be baptized if you become a Christain.... a Christ follower, not before. (Being baptized does not make you a Christain.) Accepting Jesus' invitation to become His, is the greatest gift that anyone can receive, and it is free, no strings attached. Doesn't matter anything you have ever done in your life. If you ask for Jesus in your life, He WILL take you as His own, under His protection, as His adopted son, and you will become the person that He created you to be when He lovingly made you inside your mother. He created no one on earth exactly like you, Adrian. You are unique & special. He made you so. He loves you.
I watch this presentation every couple of months. I cut my credit cards the same way as Dave did, and at the ripe age of 60 finally started to save. G-d bless you Dave.

Dear Gene, surrendering one's life over to Jesus is the greatest decision and choice anyone can make in life. Because everything else depends upon this choice. The direction of life changes completely like a right about turn, from loving sin to hating sin, from loving self to loving others, from putting God last to giving Him first priority place.

He is a deceiver. You don’t walk with Christ because you act a certain way in your flesh. If you have the Spirit in you, you cannot sin because God cannot sin. It’s His Righteousness IN us. John 3:6- That which is born of the Flesh is Flesh, and that which Is Born of the Spirit is spirit! Rom 8:5- For they that are after the Flesh do mind the things of the Flesh, but they that ARE after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

You must believe that GOD ( an INVISIBLE SPIRIT) Raised Jesus the mediator from the dead. According to the scriptures. And then you too will be raised up to A New Creature in Christ! Believers ARE the Temple of the Living GOD! His Spirit is In us! It is Everlasting Life! And Peace!
This world is NOT His Kingdom! His kingdom is an heavenly Kingdom! He is the Father of Spirits. ( Heb 12:9).
It is All about having the Spirit in us. If we do not believe the Truth we would be left desolate. And when an unbeliever dies and goes back to dust they are No more. We Must Worship Him in Spirit and In Truth.
John 4:24- GOD IS A SPIRIT and we must worship Him in spirit and in Truth.
He is Invisible. ( 1Tim 1:17)
There is Only ONE GOD.
1Tim 2:5- There is ONE GOD and ONE Mediator between GOD and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Believe and be saved. A child of God, of the Promise! Sheep
And sinning in your flesh is not a sign of not being saved. ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God! We cannot turn from sin. It is the very nature of the flesh. Sin and death. The temporary life of the serpent. That is why we Need Gods Righteousness IN Us! It is His Righteousness that Saves us. His sacrifice! We cannot save ourselves. IT IS FINISHED!!

I am struggling with saving and investing my money because I keep struggling with buying junk food that I do not need! I realized that I’m using food as my comfort and I want to quit doing it. I used to have the same problem but when I started being deliberate and meal prepping my meals for the week I found I would spend a lot less on healthier food and in most cases larger portions that would keep me from feeling snacky later on.
wow i thought i was the only one, but you’re not alone im here struggling not to overspend my monthly expenses too but yet i was spending way too much on food, junk food too... and shopping.

The best way to find that balance between saving and living is by investing, This way you get
to have your saving intact and then live comfortably off the revenue coming in from
your investments. Financial freedom is possible, you just need to know
what to do and when to do it. I am a living testimony.
Investing all by yourself with no prior experience can be detrimental,
you can loose all your money. I will advice you get assistance
from a good professional, that way you will not be scare
of loosing your money plus you will learn.
It is not wise to start an investment by yourself when you clearly know nothing about it.
I say leave it to the professionals. I use the services of an excellent portfolio
manager myself, I don't wanna take chances. I advise you do same.
I recommend Suzanne Stephens Ellis, she has been my financial advisor since I
started my retirement and I have other investments with her as well.
She is licensed and have good strategies.
Plus you can withdraw any time.
Well I can't say much, I will prefer you talk with her yourself. I can only
tell you she is very trustworthy and knows what she is doing.

Thank god for putting a good head on my shoulders and having parents that knew it was very important to teach their kids how important finances are. Me and my wife are 27 years old with 3 girls and own our home and bring in good money, me and the wife both always worked hard and always knew what we needed to do along with god guiding us, on top of that neither of us have finished any college degrees. We are now 15 months away from being debt free. God is the plan and as long as you always listen to him he will keep you on the right path to live how you are supposed to.
