To clarify I have checked the signal wires going to the CAS and everything is working properly (Make sure to check ahead of time). I also verified all the timing marks were spot on and the crank pulley was set to TDC. Also when I check the timing and set it, it is running at idle with a timing light and set to 15 degrees BTDC (per manual). For more information on an aftermarket CAS check out autodream.ca, or PRP. I am going with the one from autodream.ca because I don't want to mess with the crank pulley.
My tape player is the exact same as yours but it's not playing only fast forwarding and rewinding. How much do you want for yours if you're removing it and it's in working condition? Ha!
