I got my dryer from Costco and it was around $50 at the time. I thought that was outrageous to spend, but I'm worth it. It had 3 settings, hot, warm and cool. I use heat protectant, blow dry on warm setting and set with velcro rollers leaving them in about 1/2 hour. My hair is silky and shiny afterwards. Don't know why, but I think it's due to the velcro rollers. I just wouldn't spend over $300 for a blow dryer.
I use a 34.99 blow dryer and it has 3 levels of heat. Also a cool setting so I never get hot. I have wave in my hair and use the diffuser as well and that helps alot too.
I went to the Zuvi website because you made me so interested in it, but almost had a heart attack!! $350 for a hair dryer?? I'll have to put up with the frizzies and the hot bathroom. That is way out of my price range.
I do it the old way, I keep my hair in a Turpin towel until it's just damp then I use old fashioned styling gel and roll on rollers until dry and wallah. My hair stays styled until time to wash. Or, since I'm retired, if I'm not planning on going anywhere I just let it dry & don't worry about it. Or, if I need a quick curl I still have hit rollers. Right now I have my hair cut in a chin length shaggy bob so it's wash & go. I'm a widow, not looking for a man, so I don't wear makeup or dress up unless I go somewhere. Sorry I didn't intend to write a book!
Usually just love your videos but in this case after going on the company's website and seeing the $350 price tag not so much It'd be great if we all could get them to send us one too😂
Zubi hairdryer is not professional, for your frizzier hair I do recommend a professional hairdryer with a minimum of 2.600 watt plus a spectacular product Biosilk , it works very well on every type of hair, BUT you need only a a very very small dose (otherwise hair will look greasy)
I can’t spend $314.00 on a hair dryer as much as I would like to because my hair has gotten very thin and fine and the regular dryer does hurt. You always look pretty girl!
Oh my goodness Patti - you look amazing and your hair is your crowning glory! Thank you for sharing - you’re so ‘real’ and a joy to spend time with. Enjoy your shopping day looking so beautiful 🇬🇧☘️🥰🥰🥰🥰
I found the perfect hair dryer for my hair. It is the Revlon One-Step Dryer Brush. It dries and curls my hair plus leaves very shiny at the same time. My hair is silver and fine and it works great. This one is second one I have purchased.
I have a great blow dryer that is a roller brush with three heat settings, High, Middle, Low, and Off. I have a lot of hair which is wavy and takes longer to dry. I never put velcro rollers but after seeing your hair become gorgeous, now I will. You are glam, Patti! Lovely makeup too!
Loved your video, I too had issues with my hair being frizzy until I shared this with my hair dresser. I could never understand how she could dry my hair with no frizz but I couldn't. She suggested to air dry my hair while applying my makeup, then going in with my hair dryer and it made such a difference ..... I applied heat to my hair while still very wet as I always had my hair wrapped in my hair towel during my makeup application which made me use my hair dryer much longer. Now I have softer hair. Who would have guessed? LOL
You look so beautiful in that floral top! 🌿🌼🌿🌸🌿 Your Hair and Make up is fabulous! Thank you for posting a surprise video today! Still hoping for your Glazed Chocolate Cake recipe!
As a hairdresser always use a warm setting with low blowing. Also a bore head bristle brush will give your hair shine and less frizz. You are so beautiful.
Lisa, is there an oil that will help grey/white natural hair shine? I see hair oil but most of it has a yellow color which I’m scared will turn my hair yellow🤷🏻♀️. Looking for something that will give my hair a glossy look once styled. I do use a bore bristle brush👍
I have been following you for years and its the first time I'm not a fan of your recommendation. I would never spend that on myself or ask others to spend on me. But that's just me. My dryer has numerous setting and will last my lifetime. Have a great day....beautiful as always.
So glad to see you. I wish I had found you sooner in my life! I so enjoy your videos. I have gone back and watch so many. Thank you so much for all the education along the way! ❤
I absolutely love your videos . Especially your get ready with me ones . Not many people start from ground zero . They usually will have put something on before they start . I appreciate that you don’t . Keeping it real xoxo 💋
I love the color variations in your hair. It looks so natural, and I’m excited to watch your transition. I went gray ten years ago at 66, and it was so freeing. You are gorgeous at 79!
You're a whiz with your hair, Patti! I know the Zuvi dryer is a big help to you. As Sylvia G. said, the color variaions in your hair are so natural--just so pretty. Love your Milani makeup and your outfit today--the top is so cute on you along with the white pants. You're one lovely lady, Patti!😀💗
Patti: I learned something today! We can purchase our own Mother's Day gifts? Ha Ha.....I love that one. Talbots will be happy. Lately, after washing my hair and using a product, I find if I let it dry about half way before I do anything else, it is great. I have mid length naturally curly hair. I then brush it out and roll it up with Velcro rollers, too. I do use a tiny bit of hairspray to set the rollers. Then if it is not completely dry, I use a cool setting on my dryer. It does not completely smooth out all my hair, but I am tired of fighting with my curls. But, it does keep a style and might look a bit different each day.
I only use the medium heat setting on my Dyson hairdryer and it never burns my head. Very nice look today! People say over plucking our brows in our young years causes the loss of brows in our mature years. I do not believe that. Age thins brows. I’ve never plucked mine either except for the random one here and there and the tails of my brows are gone. Old age did that imo.
Agree. I have always had thin brows and never had to pluck. I had somebody say once that they didn't believe me about never plucking, lol. Now my brows also have no tails, it is just part of aging for many. I just go with the flow and accept it is what it is.
Patti, you look gorgeous. Just love the spring colors of your blouse on you! So cheery! Especially love your beautiful smile. ps your hair is scrumptious!
You look wonderful. That dryer looks like the Dyson in shape. I have the airwrap and love it. Most dryers have three settings for heat so I guess I don't get it. Who cares though. It is a pretty hair dryer and if you enjoy using it, then that is a win!
I love your channel and your hair is beautiful. I think the different colors just looks so natural.i think you are such a sweet and kind lady. Thank you for showing us this hair dryer. My hair dryer has a button on the front that I press when I feel it's getting to hot and only cooler air comes out. I don't know if all hair dryers have this particular feature that mine does. I'm with you they can burn your scalp. I hope you have a blessed day. God loves you❤.
You look so beautiful today Patti. I really like your new lighter eyeshadow look. Very pretty for spring and summer. I think I may already have that Milani pallet. Your hair is lovely also. Sure is a great hair dryer.
Thank you for sharing the Zuvi hair dryer. It’s hard to find a hair dryer that doesn’t burn your hair and scalp. I’m so happy you found this wonderful hair dryer. I really appreciate you sharing it with your viewers.❤️🌺
Patti, I love your video today. I was a cosmetologist and I can't spent that much on a hair dryer. Your hair looks really healthy after the blow out. XOXO Mary Ann in Tx. ❤❤
Best hair dryer I used is Dyson. It does burn, takes away frizzies and it makes the hair soft n silky. Think it had some kind of molecules. Never use regular hair dryers any more.
This hair dryer looks amazing, I stopped using heating tools because of the damage they cause but this one looks amazing. Gorgeous look, I,love Milani products. Have a lovely weekend, Clara xoxo
I really like your hair - especially in front- very classy. I am a bit older than you and about a month ago I I decided not to have my hair colored anymore. My hair is white in the front and I wear it short. I did not have the blond changed - just growing it out. I have a sense of relief - it’s a good feeling. Do what makes you feel good. 😊
I have a hair dryer that uses light also and I LOVE it. It's much cheaper at around $30 and I got it from Walmart. It's a game changer as my scalp always felt like it was burning and now my hair looks so much healthier. Also purchases a Typo Ionic Blow Dryer Brush and Volumizer and I alternate. Both work great for my shoulder length hair!. Your hair looks fantastic.
Miss Patty, I have very thick, short pixie hair.. I love it, but drying has always been my downfall. My head gets so red, even though I’m far away from the dryer. I thought the shine was gone. Can’t wait to try this! Love your videos💝
The hairdryer looks cool! I have been blow drying my hair for over 25 years with cheap hairdryers throughout the years and I’ve never had any issues! My hair doesn’t get split ends.
'Enjoy all your videos, my lovely 'friend'. I color my hair a bit lighter than it used to be and acquire a little shine with (literally) 2 drops of Stylus. Also, I have short hair and use the blower dryer very little because I use a memory foam and while it's still damp I create my 'do' with my hands and let it dry. The next day I moisten it and the creation reappears! yay ! Thanks for all the great tips and product reviews you give us. XO
I bought a Dyson & am slowly learning to adjust to it ! Patti I always have a hard time with hair dryers ! I am in the process of letting my hair grow out ! Just tired of the bleaching process & the long hair appointments! We shall see! Anxious to see your hair dryer!
Your hair looks gorgeous with the color variations in it now. Too pretty to go to a colorist and change it! Please let us know what shampoo/conditioner you use. We love you Patti. ❤️
I was a hair dresser for many years and never used high heat to dry the hair. It is not the heat that dries the hair but the air that comes out. You can get the hair dry with the setting on low heat just as fast and the hair is in better condition.
Hi, Patti! I so appreciate your makeup tips for us who are mature gals. I will try that Milani Conceal and Perfect foundation. You are beautiful. I think so many of us don't look just like we once did and the truth is we are not the younger looking version of our self but we can still look our best older version. You are such a great role model and I thank you.
A lot of work with the drying and styling and curlers just to wear it up! You look fantastic! I bought the Dyson hair dryer for $400 and wish I had that $400 back
Ohh Patty, you have beautiful hair and a gorgeous hair style! I was telling you to leave it down!!😂 you didnt listen...lol You are stunning!I love your outfit!so springy and cheerful!🌸🌻🌷
Patty, I just air dry my hair, because my hair is so fragile, it does not take long,My hair is also thinning, just like my mother and grandmother's, it is a curse, it happened after menopause. .But God gave me the most beautiful skin. At 83 I still am wrinkle free. But I would prefer e a few wrinkles than thin hair .Enjoyed seeing you via video .
BG, I’m the same way. I’m 76 and have very few wrinkles. My mother passed at 92 and had the most beautiful skin and very few wrinkles. She and I never exposed our faces to too much sun. We wore a lot of sunscreen and hats. The sun really does a number on skin. I have turkey “waddles” on my neck but conceal it with scarves🤭. My hair is thinning so fast so I’ve taken to wearing wigs occasionally. They make them so natural looking now and I gotta say, they make me look younger. Blessings to you my friend. Us old gals gotta stick together.😉
Hi! I know this is too late but I use the Dyson AirWrap that has a cooling button. I know exactly what you’re talking about! If I knew you before and saw your hair dryer, I would have bought it. I have long very thick hair. It takes me an hour which it includes a break! But the results are salon quality! And doesn’t burn my head thank goodness 😅
I'm 67 and I wash my hair once a week. My hair is long and it seems to be getting dry and dull looking. Yes I'm grey with some blonde color on the ends. Going natural. ❤❤❤ Love you Patti ❤❤❤
My hair is straight and past my shoulders 99% of the time I don't use a hair dryer I air dry. I feel it's much easier on my hair health. Love the eyeshadow color on you.
I wash my hair the day before I go somewhere special. Depending on the temperature outside, I put on a towel turban for awhile and then use a little bit of hairdryer to take out the majority of wetness. After that I let it air dry. The next day I style it. My hair dressers always commented on the health of my hair.
It’s beautiful to a lady embrace her own beauty and be confident. My mother after years of colouring her dark let it go white with family encouragement, it suits her better she’s 71. Ladies be proud, age is only a number.
Pattie, I love your videos. I am 72 with grey hair and I would highly recommend trying Jhirmack Silver Brightening Purple Shampoo and Conditioner. It makes grey hair shine, I would not use anything else. Look forward to seeing your next video.
Thank you for doing your video. You’re such a beautiful woman with such a beautiful soul. Please if you have time sometime, tell us how to take the fake nails off. I love the kiss nails you told us about. It’s the first time I have worn fake nails, but I am not going to put them on again until I learn how to take them off without destroying my fingernails. The feeling of fake nails really bothers me but I like the look for a special occasion. I need to be able to take them off the same day because they drive me crazy😂. Again, I just look forward to each video and you’re beautiful self. So few people like you in the world.
As I get older I love air drying my hair. It feels so soft and has more bounce, and if not I only use a hair dryer for a few minutes. This is a beautiful hair dryer but very pricy.
i use the same style..orange Conair for years. i comb out, use my blow dry product s of choice, then using dryer only i blow dry until almost dry and finish and style with my Lange brand Brush Blow Dryer. comes out great.
I just bought a Conair. They have always been great! I can use hot on the very ends and warm on the scalp. I don’t start drying it until it is half dry from plain air.
Most hairdryers have a dual heat & speed setting Patti. I never dry my hair on the hot fast speed setting.... not because it burns my head but its too hot for my fine hair. X
I started to let my gray grow out about 5 months ago. It's such a freeing feeling. Highlights would be great on you. I love the flower blouse you wore today!
Patti it's so good to see you love your videos and I will look for that doing your hair the whole process is a chore anymore❤ your hair is so beautiful love the length 💖
I use a blow dryer from Italy. I also use two different Olivia Garden styling brushes while I blow dry. Safest to only wash hair once a week with a good quality sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I also use a leave in before I blow dry. Dr Oz had a Dr that specializes in hair. She said let your hair air dry a bit before you blow dry. Never dry soaking wet hair.
Patti, I bought a similar hairdryer just recently and I love how quick it dries my hair. But, I do want to mention that I also bought one of these round heated hairbrushes that you may have seen on Facebook. They are called B.R.U.S.H. in size 30 or 40. I have short hair, so the 30 is best for me, but with long hair, you would want the size 40. This brush is infused with Macadamia Oil, Argan Oil & Keratin. This brush gives the hair so much body and shine. It doesn’t make your hair oily at all. The company lists that in testing, using the brush twice a day, the infusion remains for 5 years. I have very fine and thin hair and if I am thrilled with this brush, I can’t see how anyone else wouldn’t love it as well. And they ship fast and they make returns a breeze. Just a fyi! Thanks, Patti and you are so beautiful!!
Even though my hair is extremely long and thick I stopped using a hair dryer years ago I just leave it in the towel till its almost dry and brush it downward while its damp I might sit by the wood stove in winter when its super cold (which it does get here in winter) but other then that I stopped using a hair dryer I use the wind outside when the weather is nice and I do think its a good idea to not dry your hair all the way Its just bad for your hair I like that the Zuvi hair dryer is vegan leather Being a vegan its always a plus for me and I will certainty pass your info on about the Zuvi Love all your videos as I love listening to you and your positive energy is a blessing!
Patti, you are beautiful and sweet. I've been enjoying you and your videos since the start of covid. God bless you and Jim and have a wonderful day. Love the dryer. I will be checking it out. ❤❤
The one thing my blow dryer is good for is defrosting ice build up in my freezer (I didn't do it yet). My freezer works but my refrigerator does not get cold. I will have to take the back of the freezer (inside) off and dig all the ice out. I hope that is the problem and not something else because I won't know how to fix anything else that would be wrong. So keep you old blow dryers! I will have to try the Milani makeup but I don't use a lot of makeup anymore like I used to but I do use blush and lipstick everyday. You look great as ever!
Great job Pattie you look gorgeous! My hair has always been thin and my dryer does have a switch for the heat setting. Also how fast the air comes out, plus a cool setting which gets a lot of use in the summer. LOL. I’ll have to check out the Milani line because everything looks great on you.
Thank you patti!! I have ordered my zuvi dryer , can not wait !!! I have curly frizzy dry hair I know this will work!!! This is Harriet in Costa Rica. Love your videos
In Spanish we say you are very Coqueta !!! And I love it I used to be like that (coqueta) but after the pandemia I got so ill and my all personality changed I want to come back to be a coqueta and thank you to make me think about. I love you
I’m an old retired hairdresser. Patti, you need to put some product in your hair before using a blow dryer. Get some heat protectant. It normally comes in a spray. Then put your mousse in and scrunch it, but have the blow dryer on low while using it. I hang my head upside down while drying and scrunching. Now I’d better finish watching this video before I open my mouth anymore. 😂😂😂❤❤❤. I never have my hair dryer on the hot setting.
love the way you did your make-up. to me the haircolor looks great, but you do what will make you happy Patti. the dryer is nice , just checked the price oh my !. love the way your hair turned out very lovely. my hair is thin plus I'm having a hairloss not sure as to why, and it disapoints me. anyway Patti you look beautiful. thanks and stay safe.
YOU are so beautiful!!!!!!! I loved this GRWM and the zuvi. Pretty top😘💐. Oh and the pink frosty lipstick I'd been wanting you use sometimes....and used more I think when I first started watching you. I'm off to order some. Have a lovely week. ❣️🙏🌻🎶
Patti, it is so expensive! Also, my daughter gifted me a Shark hair dryer/styler and it is cool also. It actually curls my hair as well. It was less expensive. You do always look beautiful!
I used to thi k I would never spend that on hair dryer, but I've had my hair dryer for 20 years (still working) Now I'm into whatever makes my life easier and if this one lasts anywhere near that it will cost less than 4 cents a day! I deserve it!!
I enjoyed this video so much! You have beautiful hair and are such a beautiful lady! Love your outfit too. The hair dryer looks like it would be a wonderful devise to have but is out of my budget, however I might save for it! It would be a nice luxury to own. It would be worth it if it does keep the inner layer of hair moist! Thank you Patti.
I let my hair air dry while I do my makeup, it’s about 80-90% dry when I’m done then I use my Revlon or Hot Tools air brush drying tool, love that brush.❤
Hi Patti, your hair turned out so beautiful. I also love that top you are wearing. I am very interested in that hair dryer, I’m tired of having my head feeling so hot. 🌷🌷
Loved your video Patti!!! And love your makeup look. ❤️🌸 I’ve always thought your hair was beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing your hair after you get it done. I’m in the process of letting my hair go grey too! I’ve been greying since I was 18! I’ll check into that hair dryer for sure! 👍😊
Just wanted to say or suggest to not go to the hairdresser to get them to do any color treatments to even out your mix of colors…have you tried the purple shampoos and conditioners? That is the best way to go. Your hair looks amazing! Love your videos! ❤

This is off the subject, but would you review the Seint makeup ? I’d like a truthful review on it.

Same. My blow dryer (($30) works fine.
That’s better than $314.00! 😂
Agree I would never spend $300 for a hair dryer

That's a Ludacris amount of money for a hairdryer how ridiculous 😂🤑
I live in a great Sonoran southwest desert of
Tucson.. never have to blow dry my hair ..
well maybe once in the winter

I could have a weekend road trip for that much🤑🤑🤑

You will be even more beautiful with natural gray hair. It looks like it is a beautiful silver. Thanks for the dryer info. I am going to look it up.
My husband gave me a Dyson hairdryer about 8 years ago now and I’ve used it every day since and love it 😊
How did you know what I need? Thanks Patti!
And you are GLOWING! Hope that you had fun at Chicos!
Your hair looks lovely Patti!! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Your hair looks gorgeous with the color variations in it now. Too pretty to go to a colorist and change it! Please let us know what shampoo/conditioner you use. We love you Patti. ❤️
I agree.Beautiful hair.
Love Love Love Milani make up! 💖
A lot of work with the drying and styling and curlers just to wear it up! You look fantastic! I bought the Dyson hair dryer for $400 and wish I had that $400 back
You and your hair look so beautiful!
Miss Patti, I think you are a beautiful person inside and out and I thank you for all of your beauty advice it really helps, you make me smile. 😊💕
Ohh Patty, you have beautiful hair and a gorgeous hair style! I was telling you to leave it down!!😂 you didnt listen...lol
You are stunning!I love your outfit!so springy and cheerful!🌸🌻🌷
How lovely to see you. I live your top, such pretty colours 🎉
My hair dressers always commented on the health of my hair.
you are so beautiful! and your hair is amazing….😊
It’s beautiful to a lady embrace her own beauty and be confident.
My mother after years of colouring her dark let it go white with family encouragement, it suits her better she’s 71. Ladies be proud, age is only a number.
You inspire me with every vlog. Thank you. ❤️
Love your hair! I have a pixie. I let my gray come it 2 years ago and I love the freedom from roots and hair dyes!
Pattie, I love your videos. I am 72 with grey hair and I would highly recommend trying Jhirmack Silver Brightening Purple Shampoo and Conditioner. It makes grey hair shine, I would not use anything else. Look forward to seeing your next video.
Ordered the Zuvi….we’ll see. Thx for the video.
LOVE YOUR TOP! COLORS LOOK GREAT ON YOU.❤
I just bought a Conair.
I prefer Patti with blond hair, as it suits her complexion better.
@@milankatz9628 Look at her eyes and the gray hair...beautiful!
@@daisy7141 look at her skin color, blonde suits her gray doesn't
@@christian_noel She said she was going to put in highlights that could solve that problem.
I love you
You did great for your hair. For me, it is a demonstration of why I go weekly to the salon for my hair wash.
Hi Patti. Wow that hair dryer looks amazing and very unique! You look stunning as always…. I will check it out! Xoxoxoxoxo Carol
You would love it Carol☺️
So pretty Patti and inspiring! Xxx
love the way you did your make-up. to me the haircolor looks great, but you do what will make you happy Patti. the dryer is nice , just checked the price oh my !. love the way your hair turned out very lovely. my hair is thin plus I'm having a hairloss not sure as to why, and it disapoints me. anyway Patti you look beautiful. thanks and stay safe.
Patti, I have always said you have beautiful hair ❤
I enjoyed this video so much! You have beautiful hair and are such a beautiful lady! Love your outfit too.
The hair dryer looks like it would be a wonderful devise to have but is out of my budget, however I might save for it! It would be a nice luxury to own. It would be worth it if it does keep the inner layer of hair moist! Thank you Patti.
I'm going on 5 month going salt and pepper with hair. Enjoying watching. And yes to much heat from the hair dryer does hurt.
Your hair looked so gorgeous. The rollers gave amazing body.
Just wanted to say or suggest to not go to the hairdresser to get them to do any color treatments to even out your mix of colors…have you tried the purple shampoos and conditioners? That is the best way to go. Your hair looks amazing! Love your videos! ❤
