Met Mike while in Tappan scouting MMA fighters early in 2023. What a genuine, real, and decent guy! There is no put on. Who you see on the show is who he is. Just a real big (6'6" I'd say), funny, warm, friendly, likeable guy. I hope the show keeps on a rockin'. If you haven't seen Rust VAlley Restorers, watch it. It's far better than the other shows, as it shows more of what really happens during restorations. Anyway, I met him and I met the The Body specialist with the round hat. Both great people. Mike's heart is legendary. He's one of those guys you just know right away, the world is blessed to have him in it. Much success Mike Hall.

Really nice to see them being natural(?) for your camera. Kind of knew a lot of reality tv isn’t real but there needs to be a bit of real to make it believable. These two are characters and are probably a lot of fun to be around and probably drive the tv crew nuts. Cutting room floor stuff is what I’d like to see 👍

Avery you are not portrayed as an idiot at all. Your mechanical skills are prevalent regardless of what your working on. Your the wrench on the show .
We see that, but he is also portrayed as the complaining, short tempered goofball too.

Great interviews. Avery what a character and a very down to earth person. Talks about the people he has met in his life that mean alot to him. Old school cars, trucks, all terrain. The stories of pride and joys in people's lives. Thats what makes that show so special. The show edits alot out of what its really like to run a shop. But making it more real to life is what people want. Thank you for sharing
Imo rust bros is the most relatable car show out there. Definitely need another season or two

Saw RVR and I was home. You guys put forth what a true shop environment is, hard-working blue-collar folks. Keep it up. Waiting for more.
Honestly so humbling to hear Mike ask the question to JF and it shows how they both are as people and builders and craftsmen . So down to earth and so inspiring as a young man starting out with kids and being a car guy . Thank you for honesty and hard work shows what you can overcome and become later on in life you guys rule !
I like how Avery gets into 'character' at 5:30. I'm from Salmon Arm and Vern painted my '79 GMC in like 1998 ish. Was cool to watch this show and if I ever get into a custom project, I'll give JF Kustoms a call!👍

My son is a homebuilder and was on a reality show on another channel and what they showed was not what actually happened.

That's not the real season 3 on Netflix though. That's actually the last half of season 2 from Canada. The real season 3 has not been on Netflix yet.

I restore 1980's superbikes, it takes me 400-600 hours. Like you say, most people start off with big dreams and tear them down then give up, most of the bikes I buy are in boxes.

At least he realizes the time required to put it all back together. He had his fame. And, tooled his environment to keep doing it. But, can't keep a crew together because he, admittedly, has no concept of the man hours required to reassemble a single car. Best wishes to the crew.

Because Netflix doesn't want to renew the rebroadcast license rights anymore and that's why the show has moved to other networks and streaming services now. Not on Netflix anymore.

No it won't be on Netflix. It's on the History Channel here in Canada and on Motor Trend TV in the USA, not Netflix.

Damn, I was about to cut them off 😂 Tell the execs over there you just saved them at least one subscription ( so that probably means a ton of other people feel the same way ), and they'd better keep Rust Valley in production. Your shop needs its own build show over there, too.

@@mckendry17 ok well the only thing I can say is that seasons 3 (the real 12 episodes from 2020) and season 4 was on the History Channel on Sky TV in the UK. I don't know if you have Sky TV there where you are but that's the only platform it's on over there.
