What I really love when I watch these videos is how supportive the parents are of their kids' hobby of collecting cards, despite not knowing anything about it.

I absolutely love seeing kids being into the hobby, but I just find the concept of a trade-up challenge to be a little tacky and entitled.

This was a blast to watch man, it is so nice seeing all the cards and packs you give away to kids. While sorting my cards for my first convention in September I put a bunch of cool looking cards away in a box to give away to kids. It is also nice to see that you buy at 70 and trade at 80, i have seen a few buy at 60 trade at 70s but no 70/80s. You are a super cool dude, I am really digging all your vendor POV videos. Please come to KC Collect a Con. Bro you are exactly the type of person I want to make deals with when buying pokemon. So friendly and actually willing to make legit deals. Not this nonsense of wanting market for all of your cards or taking 5 bucks off and acting like you did something for the customer. Tired of dealing with vendors that want their mortgage paid for instead of making fair deals for their cards.
@@jabij1 Yikes i was waiting for this comment. Yes I 100% understand that most vendors make a living off of this. What is ridiculous to me is buying our cards in at 70-75% and then turning around and wanting market or very close to 100% value. That is bs and unappealing to the customer. I know the margins these guys are making and me as a consumer is not willing to fulfill that...If you cant budge on your prices to make a deal because your life solely depends on it, maybe you shouldn't be in the hobby IMO. I have dealt with vendors that are willing to make fair deals and this was there "livelihood". All the while vendors buy from each other and get better deals then us as customers. These are things that I have experienced and peoples opinion will very. For me if the vendor doesn't want to make deals if I'm buying multiple things at their booth then I just move on no harm no foul. But I personally wont ignore the ridiculousness of this whole thing when it comes to dealing with the average pokemon vendor.

Please come to KC Collect a Con. Bro you are exactly the type of person I want to make deals with when buying pokemon. So friendly and actually willing to make legit deals. Not this nonsense of wanting market for all of your cards or taking 5 bucks off and acting like you did something for the customer. Tired of dealing with vendors that want their mortgage paid for instead of making fair deals for their cards.
This is some people’s living. The table they’re at cost money to rent too. Coop is one of a kind most are not going to give you these deals
@@jabij1 Yikes i was waiting for this comment. Yes I 100% understand that most vendors make a living off of this. What is ridiculous to me is buying our cards in at 70-75% and then turning around and wanting market or very close to 100% value. That is bs and unappealing to the customer. I know the margins these guys are making and me as a consumer is not willing to fulfill that...If you cant budge on your prices to make a deal because your life solely depends on it, maybe you shouldn't be in the hobby IMO. I have dealt with vendors that are willing to make fair deals and this was there "livelihood". All the while vendors buy from each other and get better deals then us as customers. These are things that I have experienced and peoples opinion will very. For me if the vendor doesn't want to make deals if I'm buying multiple things at their booth then I just move on no harm no foul. But I personally wont ignore the ridiculousness of this whole thing when it comes to dealing with the average pokemon vendor.
