I love how good you are with the kids! I'm a crossing guard at my towns elementary school, and started collecting Pokémon cards because it was big with them, and I normally either trade or just give them cards that they want. Their smiles are payment enough for me. I even give them Pokémon packs at the end of term for each A they bring me as an extra incentive to do good in school.

I haven’t collected Pokémon cards since I was a kid, I stumbled across this channel on Insta. I have to say this is the most wholesome group of people I have ever seen! I just wanted to say as a former Pokémon card collector and youngling myself, I really admire how great and gentle you are with the younger audience. The way you are so informative, supportive, and helpful really warms my heart and this is the type of content I like watching, even if I’m not active in collecting anymore.
The gestures you do and give really makes my day, and I know that you’re making their day as well. I grew up as a kid that didn’t really understand collecting that much, but I always had my Dad to confide in who was always on the lookout for good card deals whenever he might’ve come across one. The way you treat everyone really brings back memories of that honestly, and I just know that you’re going to make these kids look up to their time collecting in such a high regard as they age.
Either way, your content has actually inspired me to want to get into Pokémon collecting again, do you-or anyone for that matter-have any advice on where to start? I have heard rumours about the packs as of late not being that good, so what are some things I could purchase or look into that would provide good success?

As only a VERY small scale, amateur collector, I would recommend doing alot of research on what product is available and do what brings you the most joy. Think about your ultimate goal. Do you want sealed product for shelving or opening? Do you want loose or graded cards? Do you seek set completion or do you simply wish to collect the art and characters you enjoy most? You can save LOADS of money by just buying singles of art you enjoy as opposed to opening product and hoping for something you enjoy or of value. Hope my rambling helps 😅

obviously its cool what you do for the children, but I just cant help but think about the parents. all a (good) parent wants to do is help their child create a memory. and you definitely are a key component to something like that. I'm 32 and my father will still bring up cool things that happened at expos when I was 10.

Good to see that being a good person is still considered super cool and deserving of respect by at least some people out there. This is so awesome. Didn’t think I could get this much out of watching a guy be a vendor at a card show.
Also, you’ve now introduced me to those darn DBZ cards. I know nothing about them, or any DBZ cards for that matter. But after looking some up, I know one thing, the most important thing. They look damn cool lol. Already have some on my list I’ll definitely be getting, eventually.. but man are they sweet. I don’t know how “regular” DBZ cards look but I get the feeling they for the most part don’t look as awesome as those.

Seeing the younger kids come in and say their favourite pokemon are from newer generations kind of makes me appreciate the new pokemon more. I may not like all of them but the younger generation likes them and will grow up with them as i did with my favourites
