Guy at 8:06 with the grey shirt is Austin unger or something. Not surprised he tried pulling a fast one on you with a Chinese comp. He takes every chance he can get to screw over people in the Pokemon groups on fb. if they don’t know their stuff, He’ll be quick to take advantage of that. Dude always wants everything to his benefit no matter what it takes. I don’t recommend doing business with him
Bruh really said he didn't know how to use TCG player lmaoo. No chance you're that invested in trading that you carry a wagon around and don't know how tcg player works.
i feel bad he had to deal with that " all knowing " smarmy dude. holy crap i would have dove head first into the concrete before talking to him as long as he did
Man love seeing you be sharp on these deals. I don't know if it's the editing of the video but it seems these deal-talks go so quickly that I think I'd get a little lost in calculations. But you obviously have a lot of experience too so I'm sure that helps. Great content!
I just bought one of the jigglypuff cleffa and togepi tag team cards at 10:17 for a solid price because its chart is on a steady incline on pokedata and I really like the art, I'm also a new collector and wanted some sort of psa 10 tag team card and it was cheap and cute lol. but it was cool to see you pick it out of his box it shows I must not be the only person to see some $$$ In it haha.
I remember buying that card for a few hundred dollars in 2019 and then being so disappointed when it came in the mail with a crease. I could have returned it because the listing never showed a crease. But I just figured I would take the L that time out of laziness. But then I auctioned it off a year later and it sold for $650 I never would have expected to make money off of what I originally thought was a disappointing purchase. But thats how wild the shift in the market was from 2019 to 2020.
Damn dude w the green poncho just butted in on their little trade discussion and took over. I'd 100 percent been saying something. Wait your turn buddy.
Then I finished watching and dude over here saying A trick of the trade looking at Damm Chinese cards and not knowing how to do recent sales, like dude how have you not completely bottomed out at this point.
I gotta ask how can you ask to keep cards that you have out on display? I only ask cause baseball card ppl are the same way and it doesn't make sense to me if your at a show to sell and I told you what I wanted and you said no to some I would walk away cause your there to sale and make $$ but go and tell the person they can't buy it all?
He wasn't. He wants to keep it open because he wants to let the price run. Dude was buying mass so wanted a deal on all of it. Since they're both familiar with the business it was a subtle nod like, "nah I gotta make margin on this one". Typically that would be the end once he said I gotta keep this one. But the buyer pressed, indicating, no, I'm actually here to buy, name a price. Seller just didn't wanna set an ask.
Hi man love ur vid's keep up the good work ❤ I just want to ask a question, is it okay to tell the buyer that he cant buy all of the copys because you want to keep one ??
They’re typically my friends or people I’ve done business with in the past. A seller can do whatever they want with their inventory though. If I don’t want to sell them all at once that’s my right to say so
never seen a customer try to ask for 15% to trade up b4..is that common? feel like that should never happen if you're the one paying $300 to setup unless he's giving you like some grail for smaller stuff
legit question, why do you as a vendor ask "what are you asking" if we are gonna spend the next 30min looking up all the values and comping at whatever %. is it just incase I ( the customer ) said some stupid low number and you can snag a good deal without looking it up? Just to get the conversation rolling? Your not the only vendor I've seen do this it just seems like a waste of time and I'm genuinely curious if it's like a tactic or just random talk.
What you don't see are all of the deals that fall through because somebody is asking too much for their cards. If somebody brings me a $200 ish card and wants $400 on it, we most likely won't get a deal done on that card. It's just like if you go to a table with no price tags on them. First question you'd ask is how much for that card, right?
I don’t understand why trade at 80% the value of the card? Most sports card for example trade within recent comps and if there’s been fluctuations they trade on an average. Who on earth would trade 80% against actual market price? You’re better off selling the cards privately and paying cash for the singles you want then it’s in buyers favour. I understand you’re a business and have to make money but I’d never take a 20% loss on what the market value is especially if it’s consistently selling at a certain price.
CloudTCG is one of my least favorite people in the Pokemon market. Never like his demeanor, dude got kicked off Whatnot for scamming, and when he was in your booth dude just threw down his stuff with no regards to anything. BLEH

Hey man I genuinely didn’t know the current value 😂 not my fault
Guy in the grey shirt seemed super sketch and tried to pull the "i had no idea" card on you lol
I really enjoy the vendors point of view and how some people are doing buyers' points of view.
Glad you enjoy it!
Very enjoyable to watch and very transparent as a vendor. You deserve more subs! Keep up the good work 🙏
Honest work out here haha. Thanks for watching!

Where can I get those cases? The black bin type. I can not find them anywhere!
We get them from Zion case

Editing definitely helps! Most of the deal is just looking up card prices to be honest
That guys mustache is top notch.

That mustache though!
Where do you check the prices? Any tips?
130point.com, alt.xyz or in the app store, and cardladder are all places I check!
How can you tell if the poncho cards are fake?
I'm a simple man. I see Pokestop video, I stop what I'm doing and click Play

love to watch your videos, would be nice if you could do a close up with the cards you start with so we can see them and prices.
I try to do a showcase preview when I remember!

Still asking myself : How does a company like Beckett, place a card upside down in a slab, seal it and let it go out to the customer like that 🤔
What do Comps mean
Comparisons. So basically other sales we can compare with

Exactly this. Thanks for typing it out better than I could!
lol guy at 6min missed his window to sell, poor guy like 50% high on all those like gallery cards and lower end alt arts

Definitely not common. I do it in rare cases when I need specific inventory
bro why do you put cards on display to be sold if you already have a buyer or want to keep it? makes no sense
It’s not that they’re not available. If he or anyone else offered the same price I had a buyer for, he could have it.
Did dude just steal some cards

So your answer is, because if they want too much then it's best just to pass on it and not tell them the true value? I get that
why put things in the case u wanna keep uhgggghhhh
The way your cloudtcg friend handles slabs and singles is really really annoying... lol
