DEEP DROP FISHING PERTH | Awesome weather 25/8/20

With awesome weather predicted during the week we decided to head out off Perth for some super deep fishing in search of something big. We launched early morning to get out to there grounds and start looking. We used the new C-Map Reveal charts to locate some ledges worth looking at. We found what looked like fish on a number of spots but after fishing all morning for nothing but green eye sharks it was getting pretty grim. The weather had glassed off and we ventured into some shallower water around 260-300mt and found what looked like a little life on the bottom. The drift was super slow and we managed to get our baits right on the spot. It wasn't long and we were hooked up to something! After a little wait we finally had a fish on board, although bot huge the grey banded cod was still good. We did another couple drops and managed to land another 3 cods for the esky. Four fish was more then enough for us so we decided to go look for some more ground before heading back in glass off conditions at 40knots!
