Hi Luke. My son and I stayed at the same B&B lol. Heaps of concrete area behind the front gate for your boat. Cheers
What style grip is that on the spinning rod is that heat shrink and paracord ? Looks awesome !
Love the video brother
Dreamy sounder setup! Do you run chirp in all depths ?
Yeh normally run chirp on the low side and flick between 200khz and high chirp.
What Rod you using?
What transducer are you running with the simrad combo?
175HW and 175L mate
Nice video gents
thanks for watching mate!
Do you have service for reel ??
Hey mate, what size saltist mq are you using ?
It’s a 6000 size
Do you need to run two transducers to run split frequencys? I have an evo3 with the standard 3n1 transducer got the split screen up and selected the different frequencies but only one screen would work.
you need a dual channel transducer like TM275 for example or two single channel transducers. If you are bottom fishing and want to get quality imaging then you really need to look at upgrading to a 1kw TDX. A 3in1 is ok for very basic fishing and will work to a degree but if you want to get the maximum out of your unit(that is capable) then you need to run a bigger TDX
@@TackleWest how do you identify rock and sand? I think I might need to upgrade to a better transducer for my lowrance hds.
What transducer do you guys use?
175L and 175hw
Where do you purchase the octopus assist hooks with the larger hooks please
You can purchase the octopus at www.Tacklewest.com.au. They are not available currently as a complete setup so you would have to purchase the Occy and put it on and assist
