the best trick is: cap your frames to 30 and the game suddenly becomes easy. The animations are tied to the frame count and by locking it is slows the enemies down to their intended speed.
I can parry most of his attacks but some attacks feel like they have a smaller parry window than sekiro and I beat the shura gauntlet (edit: idk if they nerfed him on full release but I beat him in 2 tries using the saber, it couldve just been that the rapier does no damage and cant block. Also make sure instead of tapping block to parry you hold it down at the right time)
I beat sekiro 7 times but the attack delays in this game are so shit like Elden ring, and I guess you know how hard it is to deflect most noble because of the delay
yeah I've platinumed Sekrio and it might just be because of how many times I have killed each boss in Sekrio but it feel harder to perry in this game@@onabs7107
@@xHolmesWalkthroughsx7 I was playing it at 60fps but when I switched it to 30fps it got better, then I got a new tv yesterday that's 120hz and tried it at 120fps and that was even better than 30fps. Idk why but the game just runs like crap at 60 frames
This mf’er is tough man. Attempted a bunch, getting him to second phase is no problem I just suck at his second phase can’t block for shit and always get caught in the lightning. Gonna keep trying
Huh why does yours look so good?? I'm playing on ps5 on an lg oled tv (cx series) and mine looks foggy and washed out. Yours is crisp as a...well...a crisp
I am this closr from asking for a refund, since I pre ordered it and later played the demo. A harsh lesson learned. I understand they want to imitate Bloodborne. And that’s perfectly fine- imitation is the biggest sign of flattery. That being said, Bloodborne rewarded skillful play and stealth- knowing when and how to draw enemies in, depending on your approach. In this game, I’m spotted 20 blocks away by 10 dogs and 15 police, all swarming at the same time and stun locking… because of course they would. Combat needs to be improved vastly. The parry mechanic is all over the place. I sense they wanted a Sekiro feel, but they need to refine this before launch. Aesthetic is nice, but at this point, that cannot be a redeeming factor given the many flaws I have observed thus far.
Agreed. It feels wooden and stiff, and I'm not enjoying the enemies so far. It's like they were all pulled out of bioshock infinite. But I'll persevere because it's not terrible, unlike LotF
Bruh i was enjoying the game TRULY until i got to him i was like man idk about this one if im stuck here on the demo i can just about imagine what the full game got😂😅
All the comments just showing that they don't understand the game, you played it very good holmes. The health going down shouldn't be a concern when blocking too you will get it back.
Yeah, and the demo is a demonstration as to what is to come, hence the name. The fight is horribly unbalanced, the dodging is atrocious and this Darkbeast Paarl / Orphan of Kos hybrid is a shitty boss.
@@billyskittles1036 i fought this like 44 times and I said ok enough so I summed help and I'm beast at souls games but this fight is just so unfair and so unbalanced you don't dodge far enough its literally like your taking a baby step its really fun but bosses and enemies like that makes the game shit especially with only 3 or 4 heals like wtf are they smoking.
@@dsartorias1619 so i beat the Fuc*er 😂… he takes all your patience and ability to parry to defeat. Also, i was probably over leveled from dying and grinding so much. So we have to be patient as this is only a demo
God, the dodging is fucking horrible in this demo.
True
its pretty good, it has fewer s so you can't spam it like in bloodborne or souls but also try to parry and not just dodge everytime.
This dude is tough
way harder than the one in the wo long demo

That’s pretty sad, if that’s the case. Maybe the game needs to spend more time in the oven if that’s the case.
Ye the 30fps mode let me beat him straight away first try after like 20+ 60fps attempts

For some reason if I hold my heavy attack I don't get that riposte thing even when I hit him
No idea , the flashing red attacks could be parried... I ran away everytime. This boss was a bitch but boy did it feel great defeating it
Is it just me or are the parry windows and dodge windows too small in this game?
The parry window is tight for sure. But I feel like the dodge is more forgiving
