There are several cheaper alternatives. If you want to buy in USA then Spark Juiced and Rad all do something similar. If you happy to import Mario EBikes likely the cheapest. I am awaiting mine.i spent less but in theory getting more.

It is worth checking kick starter etc. I bought from Mario and hope to get today. So I can' t comment yet. I spent $1900 including delivery. Pay attention to the motor and battery these are the most expensive items after the frame.
Not even the same category Super 73 ( any model) compared to a Surron or an Onyx is simply a toy, the Surron and Onyx are outstanding ebikes.more power, range, speed , they have full suspension . It's not even a comparison.
Z1 has a great look and style, but is slow and if you are over 5'6 it's very small fitting. My step daughter rides our and she's 16 and if over how slow it is and the lack of range.. We are making it a 25+ mph bike with 30 mile range soon. Watch my channel for this build.
There's alit of open areas on the bike that could be made for storage. Like mounting a storage bag or flat container just below the seat and between the top frame bar and bottom frame like a triangle shape container.
As you can see, the bike has no seat height adjustment so how are you able to pedal assist it without your legs cramping up? It has no suspension so he tried to deflate the rear tire to compensate for that but that fix never works, all you end up with is a bouncy rubbery feel.
Even after I do all of my research.... I'm not going to say I don't like the e bikes and scooters. I still kinda want one...they're cool. However. For 2700 you can get a Honda scooter, massive dealer network for service, better reliabilty and better longevity. I do like the direction of the industry but I need to have local dealers and better warrantys so when something does happen I'm not driving all over the State and dealing with these fly-by-night companies. One thing no suspension at all on this model is kind of ridiculous

+1 plus the tires are too big they make the range way smaller, the best way is to buy a 1000w kit off ebay and build an ebike at home, way cheaper and way better than this piece of junk here

I live and walk through - often with my dog - the areas this person is demo-ing through. There are bicyclists, pedestrians walking dogs, and pedestrians with children on all these sometimes narrow paths. Some of this is on a path to both a popular dog park and a children's playground, and immedialtely adjacent to preservation wetland area. I'm glad this person is having fun, but I'd ask him to do so more responsibly. (hi, Fuze@Cambridge)
I cant believe you didnt mention how bad this bike is to pedal ? none adjustable seat height completely bad ergonomics short rider vs tall and that seat is not designed for anyone moving their legs on a bike . this was more like a commercial than a review. 2200 usd is too much .
Designed for a 10 year old. There is no way to adjust the seat and no suspension. You aren't going to be able to pedal this thing without your knees hitting your chin. Put some foot pegs on it and call it what it is. An electric mini bike. But then, you wouldn't be able to ride it on a bike path would you.
To keep it technically still an e-bike and not an e-motorcycle, so you can legally ride it on the streets without a license, registration, or insurance.
I like Super 73 because they started the whole "mini/scrambler eBike" craze..but they are overpriced bikes for what you get. No front shock, small LCD screen, 500w rear hub motor, very uncomfortable seat. Lots of better options out there with the same style frame.
Super 73 did NOT start this trend. Coast Cycles created the frame and Germany Company copied the style and added the motor. Also in China Mario predates the super 73.
Just look how low is his seat: both his legs are bent in knees. EVEN THOSE ONE, WHICH IS IN LOWEST POSITION. So, he is, DEFINITELY DON'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE BICYCLE. Somebody will tell me, that position of those seat can not be regulated. So, it is not a ,,Super";.. it is just a garbage.

I think e-bikes are cool, but the prices just don't seem to be in this universe. In this universe, I can go onto craigslist with my $2200, and get a good-condition 2015 Ninja 250. Yes, an actual motorcycle, with fairings, suspension, and an engine that makes more horsepower than this thing's miles per hour. I'm sorry, but I just don't get it.
You have NO idea how many customers are at home SICK over these motor (and other) issues. Super73 doesn’t care and won’t even reply to calls/emails. Please leave them a “negative 1-star review” on Google and Yelp so we can continue to warn unsuspecting customers. More innocent people should not have to go through this.

However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!

This bike is not a 1000 W motor it's a 500 W motor you might want to correct that 500 W is what the motor is rated at a not a 1000

I can make one of these with a bunch of scraps than buy this thing, the price is high end but the quality looks cheap
As someone that is currently attempting this with a professional shop, its a lot harder than it looks.
