Hi..I'm new to the exclusively pumping and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. After I pump I take the milk and just place it in the bag with whatever amount I pump. Is this method more so so you can have a exact amount in the bags?
Alanah Crimin this is over the course of 2-4 days 😊 and I’m a surrogate so I don’t have a baby who is consuming the milk since I donate it to a milk bank. 2 ounces is still a great amount!!!! I have an over supply. It’s so hard not to compare but your doing great 🥰
@@KimberlyAnn So when you put then order once they are frozen I guess I am confused because even though they are from week lets say 6-9 if it was day 9 when you bagged all of it all the bags should have the same date of 9th on them so tech putting them in date order is not needed right? Now on the large zip lock I could see why you would want to put full date on there of Sept 6th-9th and year etc. so you know what to pull first from freezer but I do not understand why you need to organize date on the individual bags
Hi Kimberly, i love your channel and pump reviews 💕 is it possible for you to review spectra handsfree flanges / freemie set? Thanks a lot & cheers to more videos 🤗
I know you donate to preemie babies, is this okay to do when donating or this is only for healthy full term babies? It looks very convenient instead of having lots of bottles in the fridge.
Tatiana Feeney this is only okay for full term babies! If you have a preemie I would ask your DR about the pitcher method. But I don’t use this milk for preemie donation. But using the pitcher method for a full term baby is perfectly safe!
HELP, do you pump and start putting the milk in the pitcher? Or do you cool down the milk first and then add it to the pitcher? Does it matter if you mix cooled milk with recently pump milk?
nenam0txa hey! It does not matter. A lot of people say don’t mix milk. But it’s perfectly safe for a full term baby. So just pump and put the milk into the pitcher after each session and then at the end of the day or the next morning then you can section it out!
How old is your little one? I only get maybe 24 oz in a day but mine is only 3 months (preemie adjusted age 2 months) is that why I don't have as much?
So I was a surrogate here. I didn’t have the baby, so all this milk went to donation. So it seems like a lot of milk but it’s only because I was exclusively pumping and could see my daily output because I didn’t have a baby. 😊
I didn’t have a baby for this video, I was a surrogate. So this is all the milk I made in the course of 1-3 days combined. So I donated all this milk to other babies from the surrogate pregnancy.
I was pumping for a milk bank and local moms. I didn’t have a baby at home because I was a surrogate. You can combine milk that is from the same day to store and freeze for a full term infant. If the infant is not full term it’s recommended to combine milk from the same pumping sessions, store in the fridge and then combine them all from the day at the same temp as long as it hasn’t been more then 12hours.
So organized, I Will differently trying this

You produce this much milk in one day?? How? I'm trying to up my supply and can only manage 2 ounces at a time!

@@KimberlyAnn Hi Kimberly wich day you put in the bags if is milk for 2-4 days?
I put the date of when I bagged them on the bags. And then freeze them.
Best way to remove air from the bag.
Thank u so much. It helped me to remove complete air from the bag

Thank you! I do have the freemies! I’ll get on that 🤪

What is the clear bin you have for the frozen bags? Do you have dimensions or a link?
I got it at TJ Maxx
How long can this milk be stored in the refrigerator ?
2016 Barbie 4-6 days

Should you cool the milk first before adding it to the cool milk in the pitcher?
Kayla Ferguson for preemies, yes and it is recommended for full term as well. That being said I’ve always added different temperatures.

Do u feed your baby out of the pitcher or is that extra milk

So when does baby actually drink this milk?
You would bag milk and freeze it. During this video I was a surrogate so I would bag all the milk freeze it and then ship it to the family.
Does the time really matter that much on the bags??
Candace Barnett no, am and pm would be fine :)
I thought it is not good to mix all the breastmilk together since once in the fridge it only lasts four days? You go through all that milk in one day?
I was pumping for a milk bank and local moms. I didn’t have a baby at home because I was a surrogate. You can combine milk that is from the same day to store and freeze for a full term infant. @@KimberlyAnn aww okay that makes sense. I have a 1 month old and I pump breast milk for him. After I pump I just store them in bottles.
@@SailorKag that’s perfect!! :)
How do you sterilize the pitcher?
ghengmendoza I don’t I normally just wash it by hand or in the dishwasher
I want five bottles with breastmilk
Impossible
