    This video is amazing, thank you. I started my PhD in neurophysiology in January, and your videos have helped so much. I am a person that likes to plan and be prepared, so you have have helped me get ahead and feel in control. Thank you!

    Excellent video, Julia! You hit the nail on the head with the writer/editor roles. The "editor" can reeeeeeally get in the way of the "writer" 😂

    Thank you so much for this, I'm submitting my final paper for review very soon and will start writing up in a few weeks. Medical doctor and writing thesis in neonatology. So many tips I think will be helpful. Thanks

    Thanks for this. I'm doing 1 + 3, still in MSc stage, and back to studying as a mid-life crisis! I laughed out loud at the writer/editor - I watched this after having spent 2 hours this aft (yup 2 hours) in editor mode even though I'd actually only written 300 words aaargh Really grateful to be getting this advice now

    as a thought, seeing as I'm asking a neuroscientist) - do the writer/editor 'live' in different parts of your brain?

      Love this! I would say they require different neuronal networks to be activated
