- Have you ever wondered what would happen if you uninstalled Windows ME and downgraded back to Windows 98? Here is a video showing the actual process. Windows ME was an awful release regardless.

Back in 2000-2001 prior to Windows XP's release, Windows Me was very infamous due to being plagued with software bugs and system crashes with Microsoft removing parts of MS-DOS and the fact it was rushed during its development. Luckily around that time you had an option to custom order a new PC to come shipped with Windows 98 SE, especially for gaming and the other Windows 2000 was also an option if you wanted better performance and stability for work and as a daily driver. When it came to Windows 2000's development, Windows 2000 was actually worth the wait because the developers at Microsoft took their time during the time when it was called Windows NT 5.0 removing lots of software bugs and adding more improvements despite it was built-on NT technology.

@@GumSkyloardXP probably was like "I know you'll be back at some point." - And it probably wasn't wrong. XP was the saviour to Me users and also Vista Users. But also when MS stopped support for 98... And that Me... Whatever... It was also a good choice to go with, As well from 2000, when you couldn't play the newest (From like 2006-ish and beyond.) games anymore.
Me is like a depressed pile of garbage that nobody wants because of it's super annoying Su!c!d@l Thoughts. (In this instance, Crashes, Freezes, BSoDs) and knew that 98 was already better. And unlike humans, you won't help it in any way. It spawned being that way already, to the point you just give up on it and go to 98 or XP based on your circumstances.

They would wipe and reformat the hard drive instead by replacing Windows Me with Windows 2000 for something more stable and reliable.
