Julie don’t worry about what people comment. I’m sure you did your homework and are getting a great price for all you got. Sometimes it’s way easier just getting it all from the same store. Love your videos!!
I understand about living in a rural area, and not having access to healthier food. I live in a small town in Iowa, and my food options are so limited. I agree with your food choices for your family. You don’t have to answer to anyone, on deciding to spend extra money for better food.
Azure Standard is THE BEST! No matter what anyone says negatively about the prices, this is an outstanding place to get great quality food. I have an order for almost $1,000 about to go through in an hour. I have bought from them for a couple of years and there is NO going back.
Really enjoyed your haul😊 When you peel your carrots, use that little zig zag utensil with red wooden handle to slice your carrots with and it will give them a crinkle cut like French fries. I’ve had one for about 35 years and use it to make crinkle cut carrot sticks, homemade crinkle cut French fries and sliced cucumbers for salads. There’s a lot you can use it for to fancy up food!!! Love y’all ❤
Frozen corn and green beans dehydrate really well to throw into soups. I also dehydrate carrots all the time for soups, stews, casseroles, etc. Blueberries dehydrate really well too. If you put the chili powder in a canning jar and vacuum seal the lid, it will last for years. I have had vinegar eat through plastic jugs and make a huge mess. I either buy it in glass now or transfer to a glass jug.
You like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen & doing what most people have forgotten how are grandparent’s did the preparing & stored it the cellar. The only thing was they didn’t have to look for organic food,so much has changed. Love watching you are a true hard worker a loving Mom & Nana a by watching you & listening to all your kind words. Thanks 😊
Julie it does not matter what people think it sounds like to me you know exactly what your talking about I love your videos and I realy learn alot from you and yes I love your ideals thank you for sharing your videos. God Bless!!!
Hello Julie, family, and fur babies. That food looks delish, I can imagine your recipes. I am sure you will share with your big family all that good cooking from mama. Of course I shared TO THE BURGH!
Julie I used to can and freeze food and make jams and jellies but just me and my hubby now but so nice to see you doing it it seems most young people don’t even cook any more
Do not let that bother you as to their negativity. You do you for your family and do not feel you have to explain your choice!! Each to their own and people should not make those type comments! That’s my opinion…. Great haul
I have just ordered pitatoes to can and so hapoy they have 50lbs but in 5 0r 10 lb bags , I cannot lift 50lbs myself , so I also had gotten presto electric pressure canner, I cant wait, I can run my really large presto canner for stove top and I can can in electric canner also. I can't wait to have some potatoes on the shelf, so want to try to can up 100 lbs this fall/winter..plus so many other ingredient. LIKING your channel!!
The country save detergent and brightener is fantastic. I purchased the 40lbs bag and a case of 6 brightener. I love that I don't need to use a lot per load and its low suds, will not need to purchase for a long while.
Thanks for sharing your haul. I had no idea they had a cleaner ingredient Oxi clean. Please let me know you you like it. Also your kitchen rug matches my big one I have in the dining room. Where did you find a little one?
Hi Julie. I was thrilled to see your video on your Azure haul. I have heard you mention them so many times and now I know who you are talking about. I doubt if I will order anything because I live alone and my family is grown and do their own thing. I do want to learn about the company and what they have to offer anyway. So thank you so much for showing all about this in your video. I really do enjoy your videos. I hope you and your family are blest with a happy healthy New Year. A Nana in Texas.
Hi Julie! I'm a little late to this video. What do you do with canned potatoes? I have never heard of that. I'm curious. Thank you! Your friend Kristine
Yes please do videos, on presto canner, I have had one for a month ,health reasons hadn't used it I like it cause I don't have to babysit it ,I can do another core while that's a working...I really want that thing going everyday just about..Enjoyed your Azure ehaul ,I have a huge one going in in 11 days however ,the meat stuff is out of stick as well as a few other things but I'll leave it ride caus either things came back in stock since I placed my order ,wait and see game...
Kudos to you for preparing all of that food for winter! You are amazing! I live in California and I'm lucky that organic local produce is available year round, for the most part. I live in Ventura County and we have farms nearby, in Moorpark and Oxnard, and our area and farther north feed the country.
I would love to learn how to use a digital pressure canner! I have wanted to purchase a pressure canner, but don't know anything about them and didn't want to spend money on something that may be too difficult to use. I also had a question about giving vinegar to chickens, what is the purpose of that?
I am nearing 70 & due to a crazy work schedule requiring a lot of travel I never had the opportunity to garden or learn to can until recent years. I purchased the presto electric canner late last year & I love it, it really does make canning so much easier. It comes with a coated, wipe off quick guide which has water bath instructions on one side & pressure canning on the other. It walks you through step-by-step showing a picture of the button to push & the ‘put regulator on’ is bold printed. It really is a great guide. Mine also came with a small paper book that tells you how long to can an item for & you set that time early, before you even put your jars in with water to warm them. I don’t use my stove top pressure canner much because I live in zone 9 Florida & it really heats up the kitchen but also I have an electric cooktop making it more difficult to control/change the heat quickly for a stovetop canner. I hope this helps. It really has given me the confidence to can so much food!
Julie, I checked out Azure and they definitely have some great things, I’ve put several things in my cart but haven’t purchased yet. With only being me it’s hard to buy in bulk. But with the way things keep going up it might be a good time to do so. Your electric canner looks awesome. TYFS see ya Friday. 💜💜💜
Hi Julie I got my Azure small order today .. I got the vanilla to make the exstract like you did and also got 6 lbs bag of ozzo..its hard to find here in Ohio... Thanks for sharing with us and turning me on to this company... How is your vanilla extract coming along ....🤔 I enjoy these videos...🥰
I have not! In a cool dark place they should last months. But In room temperature conditions they will not last that long. But I have made mashed potatoes with mine recently and they were amazing!
Yes, I would love to watch ur pressure canning videos
Julie don’t worry about what people comment. I’m sure you did your homework and are getting a great price for all you got. Sometimes it’s way easier just getting it all from the same store. Love your videos!!
Thank you Paula!

You absolutely crack me up!! " I'll give up something to feed my family good wholesome food, but not thrifting!" LOL!! Tfs!!

Oh good idea! Thank you 😊
I agree with you about how Azure is so helpful when you love in a rural area. I can't even get most things organic where I live.

Wow! Great information here. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for sharing. I would love for you to share more about your family’s eating habits and how and why you mostly cook from scratch. ❤

Does the laundry detergent leave a film on the inside of the washer drum?
I would like to know more about your canner.
I would love to see a video on pressure canner.
Did the detergent and oxygen brightener work well? Will you order them again?

Thank you Vickie! Oh I agree!
The baby corn is good in stir-fry.
Oh yes! Yummy!
Probably condensation! They are like that from the store when you buy them in bags. I take them out to dry but I use them first.
Baby corn can be used in stir fry.

They certainly do if not stored proper.
❤👍
Just leave the chili power in the bag, it will last for years
Thank you 😊
👍👍👍🍁🍁🍁
All of us who order from Azure, we need to make sure none of the food is not from Bill Gates farms.
Organic food is so expensive I wouldn't buy the organic food at all
