Beast Clergyman is my favourite piece from the game, what a beautiful rendition!

Whoever had the idea to use combat sounds and not only the dialogs.... yeah.... fire him. Simple as that

Godskin Apostles seems like one of the better ones they performed.

I was there that night, and I honestly wish that the screen wasn't there. Or at least, it shouldn't have played just gameplay like that. It was really distracting from the musicians who were actually performing for everyone.
They should've displayed something like a slideshow of the bosses.
People came to enjoy the music of the game, not to see gameplay again.
In my case, I brought along a non-gamer classical musician relative of mine. I really wanted to see what she'd think of the music and see how much of the story she could get from that alone. She thankfully enjoyed it, but she agrees with me.

Yea, I absolutely love the songs and the game, but I literally cringed watching that gameplay

I would absolutely go there, must have been great... BUT the tempo in beast clergyman was completely wrong and some of the parts of the song was just worse than the original version. I am not disrespecting the artists, but also dont disrespect the masterpiece of that song...

I think it’s because they’re trying to sync it up with the gameplay footage in the back. The same thing happened with Mohg’s theme and it ended up sounding really terrible because of it. I just wish they would play the pieces normally, without the footage.

They also messed up Malenia's. Well, to be honest they meseed up most of the stuff. I wasn't there at London but I did attend to the first concert at Paris and by the looks of it, the arrangements weren't fixed at all.
It's a real pity if you ask me. I've been following Adrián Ronda (the conductor of this tour) from up close for some time now. He has his own youtube channel ("Games and Symphonies") where he plays more videogames music in his own way (with the help of an arranger whose name I can't remember at the moment). Compared to the work done here... This concert falls short. It's just so sad. Elden Ring's music is so beautiful and we got so little out of this.

@@elsfic It really is a shame. Such an unorthodox decision that really benefits no one.
For some reason, I’m imagining that most of the attendees of these concerts have never seen or heard of Elden Ring; so they just kinda sit there awkwardly as the cutscenes play out in silence. Really kills the flow.
These happen to be one of the few, if not, only orchestras that play music from this game, too.
