The band did an excellent job!! As for you Deborah, I'm sorry to say but you killed the song!! No one sing's it like Roy and Linda can, you just didn't cut it!! Sorry!!
Lovely song, lovely voice but lousy arrangement and orchestral backing too loud. Maybe you should have made a duet with the now dead legend Peter Hofmann ?
Deborah, you have a great voice. But you put to much "opera" into the song and the tempo was to slow. Kick the band in the ass and tell them to take it up a notch. I'd like to hear you sing it closer to Linda's version with out the voice wavering. Put some Cajun into it!

Roy Orbison sang it PERFECTLY. Linda R. is a good singer, but this song isn't meant for "belting".
