@@iol-adviser I haven’t chosen yet. I was considering LALs, but then got interested in Odessey. I’m wondering about a blend of the two now.

Hi, is the neuroadaptive process easier for mini monovision with EDOF IOLs like Puresee or with trifocal lenses like Panoptix ?
Thank you for your video 🙂

Can you explain Posterior capsular opacification (PCO)aka secondary cataract after IOL replacement. I’ve read that type of material the IOL is made from may cause incidence of PCO. Hydrophobic vs hydrophilic lenses.
Also risks of using Toric lenses. My astigmatism got worse after using a toric IOL.

The only advice I can offer is choose the surgeon very carefully. Don’t go after a “hotshot” surgeon with less than 10-15 years of experience to perform your cataract operation, who line up patients like sheep to the slaughter and rush to do the job to pay their huge debts. Choose someone who has paid of his education debt and that takes time to do the job.
After one year of my cataract surgery, my vision is still blurry. My toric IOL has shifted from position and a secondary cataract formed soon after the initial surgery.
