Great interview. I know all musicians like to mention all the hits..Gadson produced a nice album by the late Vernon Burch that I have..curious what that was like? Burch was a superior guitarist and singer

Thank you for this interview. I enjoyed you your other video of you playing the vintage Radio King drums and I also love Motown, Stax, Philly Soul Disco funk music and all the drummers . James Gadson is a fantastic drummer. One of the bands I play in do a lot of the old Motown, Disco and Funk music.. The drummer that James was trying to think of from the Muscle Shoals studio is Roger Hawkins who played on Aretha Franklins’s hit song Respect and many other great songs.I also like that your videos start with the drum intro to Michael Jackson’s Rock with You,another great song.

Such an interesting person. He is old but looks much younger, he is seem to be black yet he gives me the impression of a white person, even his voice. His drumming skills... wow!
