Brilliant video, the wire in the generator room attached to the shut off valve breaks when there’s a fire, preventing the fuel catching on light, the blue probes are flood detectors and the looking glass are so that you don’t crush someone when you open it
Wow how did I miss this video for a year. Probably top 3 in the UK of how well its preserved. Excellent work chap not one interesting detail was missed.
Flawless! Great vid. Can't believe how much your editing has improved. Odd to think that there would be some who would watch this and think 'can't wait to trash that!' You and Clive do right, keep it secret!
Cheers Mike I was wondering who Madsketch was at first but then I spotted your profile picture. Porn star! I'd like to visit that site again actually. Thanks for the comment 👍
Great video Nick. Never seen one like this before and I can understand why you didn't mention the place this was located. I have also never seen those radiation detector things either so must be rare. Thank you for bringing us along to see it. Cheers M8
Thank you, yes its a great bunker. The condition was unbelievable and definitely won't be mentioning the location as it would probably end up getting vandalised. Pleased you enjoyed the video 👍
Fantastic. My initial thought of those blue rods is that they could be flood/leak detectors. That is why they go to the floor. If they detect water on the floor they must set off an alarm. Or maybe if there is water on the floor and the electrics have shorted out into the water, these will prevent it.
Thank you, yes you are correct. After looking back at the footage I spotted a flooding control panel on the wall with 3 locations on it and they match the areas with the rods. Cheers
Great video? Were you let in to see this place or did you find it open? If it's the latter; it's in such good condition, I'm hoping the owner found out and closed it up again.
I would guess that the small blue wall mounted devices with the long metal rods out the bottom are water detectors in case if flooding. Two in each location for redundancy.

Thank you for the information, pleased you enjoyed the video. I've not seen one built to this spec before

Brilliant video Nick, really enjoyed watching.
Cheers Lisa 👍
Well done for not divulging the location. Keep unauthorised people and humidity out and it will last decades.
Wow what a beaut of a place and yes don’t tel nobody that place is a treasure
Cheers yes I won't be telling anyone it's location. It would be trashed within days otherwise

very nice find
Extremely interesting Nick so bloody big I wish you was up for sale because I could live there. Especially as it looks like you get free power.
I'd buy it too. Wha0t a great bunker this one was. Cheers for the comment

Thank you. We found this place open. It has now been locked up so safe for many more years to come. It was great to see it still in this condition
Cigarettes would of been 90s my mam smoked them lol
That is an amazing place. I’d give my back teeth for a look around there

Yes I would say that's right. After looking back at the footage I spotted a control panel for the flood sensors. Cheers
Intriguing, is it all below ground?
Yes all below ground apart from the ventilation shaft 👍
