Enjoyed every bit of it. Came from the Turkish cat video and now I'm your subscriber. I might start to watch your videos on TV to get the full experience.
Holy Cow!!!! I was just thinking of Alvin Crow last night. He's my ex BF's former brother in law. We stayed at his house in the early 1990s. 20 years later, I was living on Big Island in Hawaii and a woman from Austin was buying some of my hand made earrings. She mentioned she was from Austin. I told her my Austin story. She told me her husband is a musician who plays in Alvin's band. Now, 15 years after Hawaii, I was thinking last night about how strange it was to encounter the Austin woman. Next, your video pops into my stream and you include a shot of the sign saying Alvin is headlining at the club you visited along with footage of the band. I'm laughing about how strange my life is sometimes... Aside from Alvin, I want you to know that I enjoy your raw heartfelt videos about the places you've been. Thanks for the work both of you do.
Yep Micheladas (spicy beers) are Mexican. That drink originated from Mexican culture & it’s nice to see that American culture has become so fond of it!! ❤🇲🇽
I spent two summers in El Paso in 2007/2008 my first real job in broadcasting. Man I wish I was more adventerous with food like I am now. This took me back.
Came across your channel from Jay Chen's interview with you and definitely love your content, especially as someone who grew up in SF Bay Area. Living in TX nowadays, indeed Buc-ee's is a "can't miss" spot to visit!
LOOOOOVE the Marfa scene. The rad part with the retrowave was so well composed, shot and edited! You guys are amazing. This video is amazing. Makes me miss the states. Which is saying a lot! 👌
Loved everything about this. This sounds like the perfect road trip. 👌 Can't believe how much you guys packed into a 20 minute video. Never a dull moment. And yesssss - Buc-ees!! When we make it to Texas, we are absolutely dedicating an entire video to exploring and eating everything there. Such a bucket list thing for us. 🦫 🌯
Having lived in Texas (Houston) for more than 20 years, I have yet to visit Big Bend National Park. The long drive in the deserts has intimidated and deterred me. However, your videos and footage are very inspiring. One day I will be there.
Hey Dottie and Lenza....thanks for making this Travel Vlog "Best Dang Texas Road Trip" earlier in 2024. The terrific panoramic views of the Lone Star State including Big Bend National Park, were awesome! I have a strong desire & hope to one day, move and relocate to the Lone Star State (a Red State -and me being a GOP Conservative) and leave expensive cost of living California. Thanks again, Dottie & Lenza! Stay Safe you two. 😏👋👋👍
This is the first video I’ve watched of yours. RUclips actually pushed it through my recommended feed. I guess their Algorithms is doing its thing finally. Yall are a great looking fun loving couple. Never lose that spark yall have. Stay safe stay healthy
Hate to tell you but an open container of alcohol in a vehicle is illegal in Texas.🤣 Sure wish you could have visited Ft. Davis only 22 miles from crazy Marfa. So beautiful.
Thanks for the ride. To drive across Texas and not show a cow or a cowman in their natural environment. I little strange. Thanks for not showing those sorry wind generators.
Erin’s is not Mexican. It’s Mex-American. Also, the first “border wall” - championed by Democratic U.S. Congressman Sylvester Reyes - occurred because right where some of cut-aways in this video were shot there was consistent and rampant car-jackings occurring in El Paso with the criminals running right back into Mexico. The “wall” originated because we who must live with it daily kno and feel the consequences of not having it … while those with luxury beliefs who live elsewhere can opine and clutch their pearls.
