African landmass is also very small, when climatic changes come its easier to move just a bit , unlike in Europe where the land mass is smaller and have to move a bit further away at time. Other thing, with a huge land mass, its also to be isolated and continue to living away from other populations, same thing also happened in Americas. Lack of conquests and wanting to rule the whole continent did help in reducing mix of genes.
"Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Geography certainly played a significant role in shaping migration patterns and cultural developments across continents. While Africa's vastness and diversity did allow for some isolation, it also contributed to a rich variety of cultures and genetic diversity. I think there's a lot more to explore about how conquests, trade, and other factors influenced populations. It’s always fascinating to dive deeper into these historical patterns!"
@@MysticVoyageeBefore we talk about so called “ African dna “ is let us remember that Africa is a continent not a race . And a very important part of that diversity is the fact that there have been massive migrations back to Africa as well. Populations of North Africa, and to some extent Horn of Africa and Sahel region are of west Eurasian heritage. Saying “ African dna “ is like saying “ American dna “ when in America you have all races of the world.
Hello, that is factually incorrect. Africa is the 2nd Largest continent by landmass, Asia being the largest. Europe is the Northwest tip of Asia, it's not a landmass in itself. There were a lot of conquests, but they were insular and yes didn't involve themselves as a region in conquering other peoples in the same way
