same problem here and its sadly a normal problem for everyone, there is a whole forum full of ppl complaining ... im just using the higher seat in the lower position because i wont see the ugly gap :(
@@andreasonwheels really, damn, thanks for commenting, i almost took my bike to ktm and said you guys made a mistake. ita not the look the bothers me, its my butt feeling the gap. i spent 20k on this bike and i feel like something is wrong with my seat.
My observations 1. The Ergo\ heated seat is a bit more comfortable, maybe double your ass endurance, but still disappointing (good heat though). 2. If you didn't buy ALL the electronic options, you'll actually need the heated seat option to be enabled (by the dealer) within the screen, because guess what, just plugging the heated seat in, it doesn't work. Over winter I'll look into getting a new heated\ comfort seat made by Sargent (they have KTM compatible heated seat option). Still using a Airthawk on long runs.
Appreciate your comments. I had the tech pack installed when I bought the bike and was happy to see that I was able to enable the seat and grip heaters myself through the display. I am curious to find out how the Sargent seat compares.
It’s funny you mention that. I couldn’t figure out why I have trouble saying Pillion and then it dawned on me after I read your comment. I’m a former military helicopter pilot and we were constantly saying Pylon which is. an aircraft part. Thanks for helping me clean up my act!
Dear sir, it's Pi llion, like u say Billion.. Pylon is the rail you mount your missiles or bombs on a fighter jet. Enjoy ur bike, it's a riot to ride..😍😍😍
Heated seat on top of that 1290 engine is needed like a fridge on the North pole. You get all the heat you need from the engine plus much much much much more. 😂
bro is your seat the ergo or high ergo comfort. i orded the high ergo and ero pillion and it doesnt look right. theres a gap between them.

@@aleksandarbotic979 ye there is no workaround with powerparts, only lowering the high seat
Will you post seat part numbers?

Any recommendation that preserves our ass endurance a little bit longer ?
Almost heaven, west virginia..😄
Love the way you say pillion like pylon. But I am English.
