The utter professionalism of these passenger pilots, never cease to amaze me. The sheer weight of responsibility to the passengers alone... Never mind the intelligence and concentration necessary to fly technology like this. I really do feel safe flying my whole family to holiday. Respect to all the commercial pilots.
I agree. Airline pilots are all about professionalism. You know they remember most of those checklist items, but they always pull that checklist and read each and every one of them, every single time. Being responsible for the lives of hundreds of passengers is serious business.
Superb, I have seen many Dreamliner videos but this is the first time I noticed two things: 1. The Quietness 2. The Automatic Checklists Comparing these to earlier aircraft, it is clear how much more simplified it makes operating the airliner.
A lot of manual flying even above 5000 ft, only speed manage and vertical path programmed . On landing, manual from before being established on the ILS, impressive! The taxi in schipol is damn long
Christopher Soares Good. I like to see the guys hand fly more often. We have become too complacent with the automation. That is why we had accidents like Air France 447.
Ifly 777 Thats to do with speed... not altitude... they were at 37000 feet they were losing speed... They din't pay attention to the stall alarm... the stall alarm went of like 60 times for gods sake.
@@ubaidh66 The FO had the stick full back all the time and nobody realized that. That's on Airbus design; both pilots can control the plane at the same time and, as the stick is almost "hidden", they can't see if the other pilot is maneuvering it or not...
Long taxi to take off. I was beginning to wonder if they planned to taxi to Amsterdam. These big planes never cease to amaze me at so much weight going up. Great video.
Great video love the Dreamliner, flew on G-TUIA from EGCC (Manchester) to LGIR (Heraklion) in May this year (2016) so to see view from the Flight Deck was a great experience, my sincere thanks.
Just how smart are these new gen aircraft? Do they have a sort of landing mode that tells the plane to slow down after sensing it touches the ground? Looks like it would be difficult to reach any of the controls with all of that shaking happening!
They should innovate instead of manual changes by hands during process of landing and take off can be done by voice command as option if the one of the pilot get sick.
Must be a very high-passenger route. They probably use smaller planes for the off season. Keep in mind, though, that the 787 is still not as big as the 777, so it's not as excessive as using a 777 for such a (relatively) short flight.
This thing is just an amazing machine. I just finished watching a documentary about this bird, and how Boeing wagered on this direction, Airbus went the other way. Boeing now has 1251 ordered for this year alone. A380 has 3. Hub to hub vs point to point. Winner? You decide.
Boeing got it right, Airbus got it wrong. The ridiculous A380 was an airbus vanity project more than anything. Now they're stuck with that flying pork chop. Airbus won't admit A380 was an expensive mistake, lol big surprise
Met dit toestel ook van Palma naar Amsterdam gevlogen wat met tui geen pretje is de stoelen die zij gebruiken zijn zeer smal en weinig been ruimte zo weinig dat ik met rug klachten in Amsterdam aankwam geen aanrader
...red beacons are not the international standards to rw aprouch landing lights ...weird, cose this anomaly happens at Amsterdam Schipol International Airport
Yea really stiffled, no laughing or talking only just (think this with eric cartmans accent) "Errgh I need to fly this plane and look serious because I am a pilot and I do a super serious job"
So filming a flightdeck for the whole flight and uploading it on YT is a PilotsEye rip-off? If that was the case PilotsEye is a rip-off from Justplanes......
Have you noticed that some show-off "pilots" want the take off and landing by themselves when they are been filmed? Normally, one of these two steps are shared by truly professional and senior pilots with the first officer! This is one of those CLOWNS... who wants the whole show!!! As soon as he knows that cameras are on, he is "the boss"... and then... "HE BECOMES THE HEROE..."!!! What a clown!
Not sure if you're aware but the captain assigns pf. If he wants the first officer to do both the take off and landing, then that's what the first officer will do. Also, it's hero, not heroe.

Especially after a major failure.
Remember that.
Such a pity that they'd actually landed at Brussels Airport by mistake - but nobody's perfect.
Superb, I have seen many Dreamliner videos but this is the first time I noticed two things:
1. The Quietness
2. The Automatic Checklists
Comparing these to earlier aircraft, it is clear how much more simplified it makes operating the airliner.
Wonderful flight. They work well together with each pilot area of responsibility.
That is why we had accidents like Air France 447.
airfrance 447 the one plane that landed in the sea? That was because of stupid pilot error he was flying the plane up while the plane had low speed.
Mike Tyson. Because the pitot tube was covered with ice

Dank NH voor deze twee schitterende reportages!
Great video love the Dreamliner, flew on G-TUIA from EGCC (Manchester) to LGIR (Heraklion) in May this year (2016) so to see view from the Flight Deck was a great experience, my sincere thanks.
What a bumpy ride in Palma!
Certainly loud when gear's deployed.
On the ground, post landing, sounds rickety, loud.
Quite a journey from runway, high-speed taxi to terminal.
Excellent video. Great job!
what an awesome video
wish it was a 12-hour flight, to be honest. Loved it
JUDAS, (LOL), at 09:00 gear up sounded like the gear was being Suckled up into the gear storage. I've never heard it sound like that.
like a slurpy
Super cool lads. 2nd best job in the world I think. 👍
Retour du plus bel avion le Boeing 787 à l'aéroport de départ .... Amsterdam .... !!!Un TUI B787 Dreamliner ..... the best or Nothing .... !!!
By God's grace, Ill be flying the Boeing 787 in 2020.
Great video. What's the music playing? Sounds real good :-)
Just how smart are these new gen aircraft? Do they have a sort of landing mode that tells the plane to slow down after sensing it touches the ground? Looks like it would be difficult to reach any of the controls with all of that shaking happening!
thanks you guys
They should innovate instead of manual changes by hands during process of landing and take off can be done by voice command as option if the one of the pilot get sick.
more more exceptional videos
Did i miss their landing clearance somewhere?
I also missed that. Probably the captain turned off the speaker function, and they heard the ATC clearance via the headsets.
at 22:25 he talks with ATC and readback the CLR
thanks !
That is Palma de Mallorca. This is a mixed video of several flights
Fantastic flying and nice video. Can't help but wonder why a 787 for what essentially is a medium-range flight?
Must be a very high-passenger route. They probably use smaller planes for the off season. Keep in mind, though, that the 787 is still not as big as the 777, so it's not as excessive as using a 777 for such a (relatively) short flight.
Great vids guys, thanks. Am I right in thinking that the view out of the 787 cockpit seems more open than most airliners? Almost carlike...
Mate go on google and just type HUD display 787.
4:20 nou dat was een uitgebreide checklist
Why did they shut down the right engine while taxiing at AMS?
To save fuel
I believe some Dash 8s do this aswell.
Polderbaan has an taxi estimate time to the gate of nearly 12 minutes so to save fuel they shut down on engine
rojamb they do it with almost every twin engine aircraft in the 747 they shut down 2 engines
Malhar Satre 😯
What is that repeating grinding sound? I've watched a handful of these cockpit videos now and haven't heard this before.
Mooie video !
Mooi werk. Vaker zo'n trip uploaden svp!
That was the hydraulics sound for the landing gears tires to come down...
I liked that during flight to Palma cap was pilot in comm and during flight to Amsterdam for was pilot in comm
What are the large lenses in front of the pilots?
Head-up displays (HUD)
me encanta!!!
What camera are recording this and how many are employed?
why doesn't the radio altimeter start from 100
M Umar Companies Preference for it to only have 50.40,30,20,10
I am a arts student SSC and HSC can I become a pilot in UK or Philippines.
Al ben je zo snel de Polderbaan verpest het wel.
What is the music???
What is the title of this song?
This thing is just an amazing machine. I just finished watching a documentary about this bird, and how Boeing wagered on this direction, Airbus went the other way. Boeing now has 1251 ordered for this year alone. A380 has 3. Hub to hub vs point to point. Winner? You decide.
Dimebag Dio Kilmister if it ain't boeing, i aint going.
Boeing got it right, Airbus got it wrong. The ridiculous A380 was an airbus vanity project more than anything. Now they're stuck with that flying pork chop. Airbus won't admit A380 was an expensive mistake, lol big surprise
whats up with the suspension when taxing? it rough.
It's not the suspension. They run over the small lights in the center of the taxiway.
08:49 ..."V1"...
23:12 hard landing
What is the first officer's name?
Ace McFly.
Professionals
Wait... who's controlling the plane when it's taxiing?????
Not his foot but his left hand....
Looks like punctured tire. Why is the cockpit view limping
prachtig!
Its My Dream To Be Pilot but I still wait the chance to coming
Do it. Don't wait. Good luck.
what a bumpy taxiway
They actually run over the small lights in the center of the taxiway.
heel goed :)
Met dit toestel ook van Palma naar Amsterdam gevlogen wat met tui geen pretje is de stoelen die zij gebruiken zijn zeer smal en weinig been ruimte zo weinig dat ik met rug klachten in Amsterdam aankwam geen aanrader
Sitting in row one, hearing 17:37 out of the cockpit. "Well, that ain't good".
Why? autopilot disconnect.
I like
...red beacons are not the international standards to rw aprouch landing lights ...weird, cose this anomaly happens at Amsterdam Schipol International Airport
red head pilot why so angry ?
A'dam is also bumby
why they are very serious and looks like they scared of flying
Ebrahim Abdulla Pilots r serious below 10,000ft
Yea really stiffled, no laughing or talking only just (think this with eric cartmans accent) "Errgh I need to fly this plane and look serious because I am a pilot and I do a super serious job"
Sterile cockpit.
Being a pilot is a serious job ;)
They disinfect it with cleaning solution.
😓😓😓😓no money for pilot training.
This captain you want to dump, he is unfit for command and when I spot him, I shall refrain from flying .
?
gaaf
Such a PilotsEyeTV rip off lol

badger4382 idk about you but they like to fly and not program the autopilot
You're either an Airbus Pilot or a Prius driver...
foxtrot789 why prius?😂
Great vids guys, thanks. Am I right in thinking that the view out of the 787 cockpit seems more open than most airliners? Almost carlike...
