- Welcome to my first ever tutorial! We'll be covering making your own models from art to rig, as well as importing received models, in PNGtuber Plus. The version I used in the tutorial is version 1.3 and may contain outdated information from the time that you are viewing this. I may upload a follow-up tutorial in the future if there are many features that need tackling as well as outdated techniques used in the video!

As far as I know there’s still no undo, there’s also no auto save so save after you import, after you relayer, after you reset origin points, etc. Don’t lose your hard work!
Also, an easy way to make animated sprites is to use a sprite packer. You just have to upload all the frames to your animation and it will automatically arrange it for you. I used this site in particular (Google "codeandweb free sprite sheet packer", I can't paste links). I think you just have to set padding to 0px and layout to horizontal for PNGTuber+, then download as an image.
Organisation tip for layering in PNGtuber Plus: on drawing stage, Number your layers! start with the one under everything. Example: 1.tail 5.face 9.eyeL and so on.
Work smarter, not harder.
!! If you are using procreate you can save all of your layers as individual png’s in one go by simply selecting “PNG files” under “share layers” !! Although depending on where you save them, you might want to name your layers afterwards.

This was genuinely so freaking helpful. I didn't know about half of these features (such as the layer & origin point moving) and after knowing them my pngtuber is 10x better! TYSM! Also your art is very cute and amazing!

so im trying to layer my images and they arent all showing up. only one at a time when i click on it. and when i try to put a layer on top of another, the bottom one just disappears...help please. thank you.
hello! I got a question since ive been stumped for awhile now im not new to the program at all , however for some reason my settings gear thats supposed to be right above the mic, is missing, any idea? haha
I'm currently using ver 4.2 and it's still there so I'm not sure how to help :( You can download any past versions on the itch.io site however!

Hi! I animated it using Live2D Cubism, and used Wallpaper Engine to display it ^^
Do you need a camera for the eyes to open and close? or how does it work?
It's automatic
You need to set individual layers for eyes open and closed, and then set the states for it accordingly. It should be next to the mouth open and closed settings
Can you use a mobile to draw png and import it in your pc later?
Yes! I draw on iPad and import it to my PC for file separation and saving :)
@@ganymedeVT oh what canvas size do u use when you draw your pngtuber? Can I use ibispaint?
@@13thknight75 I believe I mentioned in the video that the recommended size is 750x750 px! I don’t have experience with Ibis but as long as you can open your file on PC using photoshop or some other art program, or you can save the layers individually as PNGs, you should have no problem with using it

i hate the transparence is there anyway to turn that off
How can we put PNG Avatar in OBS?
Hi! Create a new source in OBS and select "Game Capture." From there, select the PNGtuber Plus window, and select "Allow transparency"

@ganymedeVT My avatar only moves if the bar with it is open, and I wanted to ask you if there is any possibility to use it when it is minimized in the bottom bar
But like what about on mac
I personally use Windows and have no experience with MacOS, so I can't provide any help from experience. I'm sure there are other resources out there to help you with your concern! You may also look on the official website to see if there are any developer-created tutorials or official guides for MacOS :)
Pretty sure Veadotube Mini works on mac
