Pngtuber Programs: Pros and Cons

- Hello there! In this video, I go over some of the pros and cons of three of the most popular PNGtubing programs. Namely, in order of appearance: HONK, Pngtuber+, and Veadotube Mini.
This video was not sponsored and just features my own personal opinions.
Primarily, this is geared towards newbies to PNGtubing who may not have a solid idea yet of what program they want to use, so I hope this can be informative and helpful!

On PNGtuberPlus: You can zoom out! I have to do that with my current model, as I have it on a large canvas. You just need to hold control and zoom with your mouse wheel!

You actually can resize the model in pngtuber+! Just hold down ctrl and use the scroll wheel to resize it! I was worried about this too since I accidentally made my png model too big :)

The downside is that you have to resize it every time you open the program

it's definitely worth pursuing! that's the same reason i chose to get into vtubing, and it's been life changing!

The last program is surely easy but didn't satisfy my stubborn mind.

One thing I would add to help with model bounce is the Audio Move plugin for OBS, so that the model will bounce based on how you speak in the Scene
it is also possible to set up a PNG model within OBS itself (with some plug ins doing some of the heavy lifting) such as the move transition plug in to adjust filters in such a way that it animates mouth movement and more. i don't remember if something like SAMMI would be required, since i always have streamer bot up because i use it for various things, but i do remember it being surprisingly simple to make one from scratch fairly recently that used mic levels for mouth movements and had the model constantly floating up and down
Landietube works that way, and it's what I use personally since it has a TON of customizability and it's a Sammi extension so the integration with everything else I do is completely built in

live2d gets slept on a lot for animation purposes!!! there's so much you can do with the program that isn't just for vtubing, it's really cool!

The Veadotube mini is actually the first program I was introduced to and I love it very much!
Honk seems super promising but the dev vanishing n it's current abilities leaves a bit to be desired

Im curious, for a person who uses a dual PC stream/video setup, would it be best to have the Veadotube application running on the streamPC or the gamePC?
please help me i dont know why I cant upload images to any of these programs on veadeotube it says I need a veadeotube file to upload and I cant figure out what setting or what is stopping me from uploading it
I use veadotube mini, but if that's considered lightweight for stealing, then there must be something wrong with my computer, because dolphin will just constantly be dropping frames when I have it open (you also can't minimize veadotube obs won't pick it up if it is)
It might just be me but i tried Veadotube mini and it doesnt accept any of my PNG files at all.
Help me how the hell i supposed to turn off (hide) these audio tracks down below with the name of the app so it wont be visible in pngtuber+???? sno one is actually telling what shall i press so lower display disepppears. I do really need help with that
Can pngtuber+ work with hotkey decks, too? I've figured out that your toggles there are limited to as many keys as you have, using the toggle button at the bottom of the menu for each item (below the 'costume' toggles).
to my knowledge, yes, you can set it up with a hotkey deck! i’m fairly certain it’s something i’ve seen people set up before

I tried to check, but I don't think it's mentioned. I might've missed it as well tho, lol.

so don't worry, the subscribers she deserves are coming, wouldn't be surprised if in a couple months it was already at like 1k, lol
