You have to make sure you set your new drive as your default meatheads and then it will give you that option to move it. Make sure you add the new drive and then you set it as your default.
This was very helpful, subbed, and liked indeed. I just bought a hdd of 2tb and so far I’ve got plenty more space, and now I can download more games and those big downloads they have.😅
So this is the proper way to do it? I can't just go copy/paste directly from the drive? Thankfully I got a external drive I can temporarily move the files to and switch out my internal ssd drive for a bigger one. This saves alot of headache from re-downloading all the games
@@fizzyt5186 I did but I'm at work ATM I'll try to provide a link I still wasn't able to move Warframe due to the 3rd party updater but I moved some other games
If you know that you have another drive installed on your system but can't find it, make sure to format it as an NTFS file system in the disk manager first
So its augest 2024 now, i dont think this method is Still valid, I cannot see the button for Moving game files to another folder even after allowing steam to see the new folder, any tips ?

Wait, but you didn't define any folder?!?
Where exactly will it move the game in the new drive?
what if you have mods on one of your games, how do you transfer that?
Will this also move the saved files?
And what about the actual steam folder, launcher thing?
