why would you drain all the water after boiling, will it not take away the nutrients?

Thank you! I was scared of trying the leaves from my jalapeño and tabasco pepper plants. But I just ate some chicken soup with them, and we are still alive! So folks go ahead and eat them in your chicken soup, it's really delicious.

Apparently Chili leaves have the toxin solanin which is very dangerous for humans, you have to cook the leaves at high temperatures to remove most of the toxins and throw the water away, because the hot water is not destroying the toxins - they get flushed out into the water or oil it’s been cooked in. So please be careful 😊
