Those that you mentioned Charin, Ezquibel, came into this country well advance their careers. The ballet companies want young stars. On the other hand, there are many other ballet dancers that didn't STAY and are doing VERY WELL in foreign companies and the USA.
I guess you must be part of that govermental apparatus.

Yes I agree 'people" should seperate art and politics.. too bad she never did.
Nor has the Cuban Government. It has a legacy of intermixing and skewing art for its politcal benefit. You CANNOT tallk of art in Communist Cuba without the impact of the Dictatorship.. its impossible.

Dice Alicia en la primera pregunta que si no fuese bailarina, entonces fuese 'bailarin'. Diganle a la hija de Raul pues que le hagan la primera operacion de cambio de sexo a ella... diria yo "a el" - Alicio.
Seria algo especatcular para este nuevo 'look' que le quieren dar a ese sistema que no quiere cambiar... hasta creo que le den un trabajo por divisas a Alicio en el Ballet de Trocadero de Monte Carlo, en el Circo Ringling o en el Museo las Momias de Mexico.
