Jason !!! NVIDIA drivers and Applications NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!!!!! Jason, can you save me from this nightmare... I saw other people also post on the NVIDA apps and drivers nighmares which simply WILL NOT UNINSTALL ... I have Rog Strix B450-F Gaming II MB, Ryzen 5600x and NVIDIA RTX2060 GPU ... and I had to abandon my upgrade to Radeon RX6750 XT because the NVIDIA stuff simply will not go away. I updated the BIOS on the MB, tried the Microsoft removal tool etc.. NO LUCK ! There have to be some tools or procedures by savvy techies who can guide us ... I am far from ignorant concerning I.T. and windows 10 and comfortable cleaning up the REGISTRY etc.
agree - I also love Jason's energy and enthusiasm which is a step above most channels. It adds a lot to the overall presentation and engages the viewer.
This content is exactly why, even though I don't watch all the videos, I keep subscribed to your channel. I've learnt so much from you and your videos I can't even begin to explain. I am so very happy I stumbled upon your channel when I did, because if I have the computer I have today, and if I know everything I know today, it is because you exist. Don't ever stop being the way you are, because your content is always the best. And also, love the cats (I intend to adopt a black cat because I fell in love with yours). Thank you again all the way from Spain. Sincerely.
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! It really means a ton to me. Mr Bear approves your plan to adopt a black cat! Hello Spain and hope you keep enjoying the content. (:
Another thing with the fresh windows install. If you change the language to English(world) instead of your country, then it won’t install a ton of extra bloat programs that many people don’t use. And the links to install everything is still there so if you’re missing something it’s easy to find/re-install
😏 LOL you are 100% Right, i remembered installing Windows in Spanish for my cousin and the installation is not the same as the standard USA English install, they get a basic streamline install with very few hassles, its not right 😊
@@Dailyrider94 it frees up storage space and depending on your region it may prevent some programs that run in the background to improve your performance but I’m not 100% on that
I made the same CPU upgrade from a 5600 to 5800X3D. You also have to remember to get an aftermarket CPU cooler as neither the Wraith Stealth or Prism will cut it for a 5700X3D/58000X3D.
Hey guys if you have four slots of ram installed on your pc and you want to upgrade your existing GPU, you might encounter an issue that pc starts up and shut down instantly over and over, the solution is simply take out three ram and put only one ram onto slot B1 and see whether it boots up.
That's a great guidr actually! I may add that sometimes your performance issues and hitching may come from faulty solid state drives. And if you have system freezes it can be from faulty RAM.
Thank you for teaching us the this and thats of upgrades and pc build in general! I am pretty stoked, just caught a Ryzen 5700X plus 500gb SSD for $170 on Newegg and an X570 Asus Tuff plus WiFi for 100 bucks new off Amazon warehouse to upgrade from my B350 + Ryzen 3600 a bit!
jason you make the best videos you literally have a video explaining everything and anything a person could need. Thank you so much for all your hard work I wish you the best and hope your channel keeps growing and growing!
Thanks for your amazing contents. I've been following your channel for some time now and your videos are great. I recently helped 2 of my friends build a new pc and they were very satisfied with their build. You videos specially the one on ram helped a lot. Thanks again man.
@@PCBuilderChannel ha - of course - and in all seriousness, Jason - love your channel! Been subbed here a long time. I watch a ton of your content. The other thing i do whenever i power off the pc to replace a part is once I turn it off i will hit the power button onec more to make sure to drain all the power from it.
built myself a 5600x/3080 system because of your tips! I had the 3080 laying around so it was just a matter of the rest of the components and I watched your videos over time to make the best decision I could! Thanks!
Hey that's awesome! Glad I could help! Good combo now and you've got a nice upgrade path down the road with a potential 5700X3D drop in in the future (:
I have an old (15 years old) Packard Bell gaming PC with an Intel i5 processor 1GB GPU AND 4Gb of ramand the internal storage of a HDD 500GB. Looking to replace the motherboard (B550) processor to a Ryzon 5 5600x, 12GB GeForce RTX 3069 GPU, 32GB ram DDR4 (2× 16GB), New power unit and 3Tb of SSD across 2 cards. @@michaelmcconnell7302 After retailers add their mark up, the 5090 is going to be very expensive and hard to purchase with all the scalpers. I’d rather go ahead and grab a 4090 and enjoy the holidays watching everyone else try to beat the scalper bots
Treat Yo Self. 😂 Edit: I was obviously joking... wait for at least the announcement that might drop the 4090 price. I don't think anything short of a worldwide issue will make its price rise at this point in its life cycle
I personally like to adjust cooler screws 1 level tighter than screwing it "softly" with screwdriver or with your hands. I got this from tuning up drums and I tighten them a bit more to make sure is there and is not loose, but not too tight either.
i do it out of the case and i tighten it finger tight then start checking with a good twist and tug, then tighten a bit more, then do a tug test again, cooler manufacturers are not consistent with each other so with some companies you can messup your morhterboard if their screws are kinda sketchy, be careful
@@MrSamadolfo Yeah, great advice. But that's what I do as well, sort of. I tighten them "tight enough" but not too much and try to move it (gently) and see if it gives. If it's solid, it's good to go and doesn't need any more tightening.
When changing the CPU or the CPU cooler, especially on older PCs, the thermal paste can be like glue and its hard to get the cooler off without damaging anything. In that case its helpful to run a CPU stresstest to get the paste warmed up, switch the PC off and start unmounting the cooler shortly after. I dont like the thought of using a blow dryer inside the case xD..Other than that, there is not much to add. Nice vid, happy upgrading!
Will definitely use this for future upgrades. In the middle of getting all the pc parts to build for pc so I'll be sure to check out other videos as well.

Thank you Jason for the video! I built my current PC when were transitioning from AM4 to AM5 and DDR4 to DDR5. They were expensive back then and no X3D CPU from AMD yet. So, I got R7 5800X3D to pair with the RX7900XTX. Can't wait to see the new Ryzen 7 9800X3D!! I will need to upgrade pretty much half of my system, geez.
Got a Ryzen 5700G and 6750XT GPU. No real upgrade that has enough bang for buck to justify it. Will likely build an AM5 later and keep current as a spare.
I've been upgrading most of my PC parts after having months of black screen crashes. I've tried to search for people who have had the same error and am lost. I've tried build a PC and LTT communities for help and no one has been able to help. I've replaced, cpu, motherboard, RAM. I think its a very rare issue though as there so little help online. PSU upgrade is next. Upgrading from 850W to 1000+ I guess.
Did you download and run MEMTEST86 ??? it takes about 2 to 4 hours? Next did u do a cinebench run of about an hour? next did you do a heaven benchmark and furmark benchmark? next did u try a different video card? next do you have a decent power supply from the PSU TIER LIST? Next take the board out and see if its crashing due to maybe the case shorting it out? Check cpu socket and pins? Check usb ports for shorts? look the board over with a magnifying glass for anything burnt. just some ideas

Sorry just saw this. You can just upgrade. You can go 5700X3D on the CPU along with a new GPU. Then, you'll just have to see if a 750W PSU is enough or if you'll have to upgrade that too.
As my pc (i5-8400 + 1060 6gb) works perfectly fine with my load of work/games i personally prefer to save some money and get everything brand new all at once
Woah! What are these steps to uninstall graphics driver? Both nvidia and radeon drivers have clean install options 1 replace gpu 2 perform clean installation of graphics driver
Lots of people have strong opinions about the proper thermal paste technique (; but Hardware Unboxed, Gamers Nexus, Linus etc have all done lots of testing on this and the results always come back that the only way you can really screw it up is to not have enough paste. So don't overly worry about how you put it on just make sure you have enough
I have 2 monitors 1080p 144hz flat VA, 1440p 165hz flat VA. I am a flat VA boomer so my monitor selection is quite small, but this feels like a good setup right now that i am not thinking about upgrading urgently. I feel like VA is the best for my eyes. I do not like how IPS panels look. They make my eyes and head hurt. I might look at oled some time in the future when it becomes a lot cheaper. Other parts are an old fractal design case. One of those big black sideslid ones. 1 fan in the back, 1 on top, 3 in the front. Cant see inside it. I have had no trouble with overheating. No RGB, my fans are all Noctuas. I play all kinds of games from OSRS to Cyberpunk, so i will need some power to run some new game i might want to play. Like when i upgraded my 1070 to 4070 for Hogwarts Legacy. I think 165hz for CS2 is enough for me. I think even if i upgrade my GPU to an Nvidia 80-series GPU like the 5080, it will still not be an overkill for new games. 1440p 165 fps for new games still requires a lot of gpu power. Nvidia because of power consumption and familiarity. A bit unfortunate tho that i feel like i will need to upgrade my 4070 quite soon already when i last needed to upgrade from the 1070, but it is how it is now. I hope my next upgrade will last longer. I expect my cooler, ssds and case to be enough to be reused in my next pc, because i have deepcleaned my pc and reapplied the thermal paste multiple times so the case and fans are in good enough shape. I am thinking that my options are upgrading my GPU, or then motherboard, processor and ram. I am thinking about skipping am5 if that seems possible. I need to keep my 850 watts power supply in mind aswell. I will keep my eye on things. I think upgrading my GPU would be a good idea first, then take the big upgrade to the generation after am5. Will see how it turns out. Thanks for showing everyone the graphics drivers uninstall :)! Loving the vids !
You do a great job presenting and you make it as easy as possible. I built a pc in December and already want to make another. This time in an ATX case. 😊

Yes my current pc sucks! It is a prebuild from Acer, contacted them to ask what is the upgradablity for it and well, its not fun. I can max upgrade to a i7 10700, a 2060 or 2060 super and the ram is stuck at 2666mhz. This is my first ever pc, if I knew a bit when I was first looking, late 2021, I would have gotten something different, something better.
🙂 the 3050 6GB is out, its pretty fast, its close to a 1660 Super, and it doesn't need a power supply plug, just open your case up, plug it in, and hammer down 👊😒 bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiii 🚤......

@@PCBuilderChannel I do watch them all, actually. I think your videos are especially good at informing people new to PC building. My first build was...geez...2017. I've built and rebuilt many times over since then. It's becoming a craft.
I bought everything to build my new pc except for the motherboard and fans 2 years ago. Now I have a Ryzen 5600 that’s probably already outdated. I’m seriously torn on what to do now.
you went thru a period of stagnation and complacency? well your in luck because everybody considers the 5600 as a goto budget chip to build right now, so either build with that chip or put it on ebay or craiglist and get rid of it, and then decide if you want to go AM4 or Intel new or Intel old, you got a ton of options
Right Jason, see if you can answer my question, nobody has yet...I've just finished my build, I have an Asus Rog Strix B650-a Gaming Wi-fi, with 32gb ram 6000mhz CL30, Ryzen 7 700x, with the Deep Cool Ak620 digital, and a Powercool Hellhound Spectral RX7800xt, I want to mount my GPU vertically inside my Montech King 95 Pro using the Cooler master bracket, but...will there be enough space to mount it vertically with the Ak620 digital?
🙂 i believe Lenovo Legion motherboards don't give you the XMP option, the fastest speed is the rated speed for the boards specs and usually to get that speed you have to use only certain brands of sticks usually the plain green sticks or something that close to factory sticks such as crucial, but ask around cause they have different models and maybe some models are less strict
Hey Jason, HUGE fan of the channel, I currently have an Intel i5-13600K with an AMD RX 6600 and was wondering my next GPU should be in the $600'ish range. I was considering another AMD, but I'm just not sure. Thanks for all your hard work!

gigabyte q-flash updating the bios This mistake I made: I did not know you needed to press END to enter. Q-flash Ref CPU I look at using thermal grizzly pads over paste, as they do not dry out if you are replacing your CPU.
To be honest, smaller than 4TB NVMe SSDs feels pretty much waste of an M.2 slot. Yes, best price/GB is better in 1-2TB drives, but games today take a lot of space and 1TB gets too small pretty fast. For example, I have gotten about 2,5TB (anything pre-owned is on top of that) installed games in just those titles I bought last 10 months. That includes some older titles and games I wanted to play but couldn't before I built new computer.
1 and 2 TB ssd's are the sweet spot, and for storeage instead of the 4TB SSD i would suggest using that money and picking up a 20TB 3.5 Hard Drive for all your files: video, pics, games, songs, etc
@@MrSamadolfo Yes, but 4TB SSDs aren't that much pricier either. Unless you want Gen5 NVMe which still are crazy expensive at any size. 1 TB is about 40-140€, 2TB is about 80-280€ and 4TB is anywere from 200-500€. Samsung 990 Pro being 370€. So not that bad, when getting as an upgrade and not part of bigger build with limited budget. Besides, HDDs are really slow these days for games. Videos, pictures, music yes, but that's why there are NAS systems so your media isn't tied to single computer and can be used by other media devices aswell.
I have a laptop and a mini PC so I'm looking to build a PC eventually maybe. I was conflicted last night because virtualbox would no longer open on my mini pc

NO, give preference to the 'single cables' if you have them, the daisy chain is only if you don't have enough singles, preferably if given a choice only use single cables but of course that means more money and a bigger power supply, but you only got a Red Devil 6750XT so thats only TWO 8pin plugs and pretty much all 750's have a single cable for each plug so your Golden my friend 👍
Definitely i need a brand new PC :) Old: MSI Z170 Tomahawk, i5 7600k, Kingston Fury 4x8GB DDR4, MSI RTX4060 8GB, 2x1GB m.2 SSD, 2TB HDD, Thermaltake 550W PSU, CM Storm Enforcer case etc. I would like a new one: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite, Ryzen7 7800X3D, Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280, 2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 6000MHz 30CL, Radeon RX 7900 GRE, 3x m.2 SSD (2 old + 1x2GB brand new), idk - 4-8GB HDD for extra space, MSI MPG A1000G PSU, NZXT H5 Flow + 2x Arctic P12 Max + 2x Arctic P14 Max. Some pieces have already been bought, Some still need attention. I want pure performance, not rgb and other fancy stuff.
Honestly system resets cause more issues than they solve (including factory resets). You're better off re-installing windows, or just manually working on the system like most techs do.
Hey pc builder was wondering if in your opinion I just finished full reset my entire computer system and I was add upgrades to be the best on coding if you have those suggestions I would appreciate it
Finally able to build my new system but ran into a strange snag. I am short a 4 pin power connector for CPU. Weird how close you can be to having everything right and still roll a 1.

If you're happy with your performance then what you have is good and no need to upgrade. Just note the logical upgrade path would be a 5700X3D with a higher GPU. Possibly new PSU too but only if timing the wattage in PC Part Picker by 1.5 says you need to.
@@kelley09162 thanks. I mean it’s running the games I want ok to be fair. So I don’t really have much of an issue at the moment. I was looking at upgrading the CPU to the 5700x3d actually and installing a water cooler for now. But I may just wait and see what comes out this year instead
@@Lee-wx8bf since you're happy with current performances you can always wait till the end of the year and see if any great Black Friday/Holiday deals come out.
That’s a good combo! When you are ready to upgrade you can drop in a 5700X3D and as high a GPU as fits your budget. But no reason to upgrade if you’re happy right now
I'd go for a GPU upgrade and a new 16gb RAM kit! The max GPU I'd pair with a 5600 is a 7800XT, so anything around there would give you a huge boost. And yes you should definitely invest in a new 16gb ram kit. And make sure you check your new wattage needs.
I would considering your CPU is 10 years old and I assume that GPU is old too. That being said if you're happy with your performance you don't have to.
sure broh, order a i7-4770 for 30 bucks, and for video card I would need to see your PC, u can upload a video so we can take a look see but yeah a 710 is dismal, minimum basement floor is a Radeon HD / R7 / R9 ddr5 something something
It doesn't give any performance upgrade, but if you are switching your motherboards, you are still following each step including bios updates and downloading the network drivers from the official mobo website.
sure broh, its always better to be running top tier Z boards and X boards, full size ATX, get the one with all the bells and whistles: Double Digit readout, reset button, power button, wait for a deep sale to pick em up, get urself something nice 😎
It does not boost performance no if its a modern well paired board, but if there's features you are looking for in a new board that can be helpful if you've already upgraded your other components. See our PC Parts Explained 2024 video for more
I currently have a prebuilt and will be building a pc very soon but how do I go about the data transfer? I have a licensed windows and GPU drivers, since I bought 2 Nvme's for the new build can I just transfer everything to them (idk how to properly do this lol) and do the GPU driver clean before installing them? I also don't know if I need to reinstall windows on the nvme and uninstall it from the HDD, I plan on still using the drives I currently have (Sata and HDD) mainly for file storage as I do video editing as well but I'd like to transfer games and apps to the nvme's
its best to buy an external 3.5 hard drive, for example a WD BOOK, they are pretty cheap now, you dont have to get a huge one, just figure out how much space you have

i currently have a radeon 5700 xt and a ryzen 7 3700x with a Asus Prime X-570 pro motherboard with 16 gb ram. I am not sure where my issue stems from but I often have my PC freeze after 30 mins when playing heavier games (gpu util never above 50 % and 55 degrees) and my cpu will often be at 80 % util. What do you recommend for upgrades ? I use my PC mainly for streaming and gaming, games being things like MMOs, subnautica, apex. battlefield, etc. Idk if I should be looking to upgrade my cpu or my gpu or my motherboard. What do you suggest ?
@MrSamadolfo there were a whole bunch of different brands and It was pretty hard to decide son which one but the merc looked kinda cooler even though the only colors is red black and white but still looks sweet
@MrSamadolfo I saw those and a couple others that had the rgb and they were even more expensive and Initially i didnt want to spend over 300 on a gpu but I did a lot of searching and so I just decided I might as well make my whole pc future proof since it's already got a r9 5900x in it, and I almost didn't upgrade but my younger needs a new gpu because his is like a 4gb Radeon xfx I'm not sure what the specific model is but it's in rough shape
I’ve been using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super for the past 4 years now. It preforms just fine for me, but I think I’m gonna upgrade just the GPU for some extra frames, and I’m considering the Intel Arc A580 or A750. I know that the A580 wouldn’t really have any noticeable bottleneck with the 3600, but do you think the extra $30 for the A750 is worth it and would it have better performance than the A580 even though it’s paired with a Ryzen 3600?
I would go for the three fan sparkle cards of either, keep in mind you might need a bigger power supply cause they take TWO 8pin plugs where as your current video card sips power
Since the other comments have commented on the card itself, I'll comment on the actual compatability of Arc cards and how they feel to use since I have an A770. I've had very few driver issues with the card (all of them are in blender, none in gaming) so you'll be very happy with the card, especially if you play a lot of mainstream titles (Starfield being an exception). Arc also works great for just the daily normal tasks like browsing and watching videos, never had issues there either. I would definitely recommend an Arc gpu as they are very stable now in my experience.
The A750 with 3600 is a fine combo, the driver on the ARC cards might require some work so if that doesn't appeal to you consider the 6600 as an alternative. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
I do a lot of photo processing and my old 8700K Intel system just does not seem to be keeping up. Gaming has never been an issue. I previously upgraded to 32 GB of RAM and it just seems sluggish. I'm looking into upgrading CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Is there a better way to go between AMD and Intel? I will be reusing my case, power supply, and storage. I am running a 4070 super if that matters.
850W. If I can replace those components for under $600 I call it a win. I know I could put together various options in that price point but I just didn't know if one system is better for my needs than another. Everything pushed online is the best system for gaming. My system is great for gaming but when I'm processing thousands of photos it just seems to crawl.

Thanks so much, glad you're finding it useful! Hope you keep enjoying all the content.
agree - I also love Jason's energy and enthusiasm which is a step above most channels.
😏 LOL you are 100% Right, i remembered installing Windows in Spanish for my cousin and the installation is not the same as the standard USA English install, they get a basic streamline install with very few hassles, its not right 😊
does it increase performance vs a normal install? Doubting to switch to linux as amd is srsly held back by microsoft.
Hair’s looking fantastic my friend ❤️

Hey guys if you have four slots of ram installed on your pc and you want to upgrade your existing GPU, you might encounter an issue that pc starts up and shut down instantly over and over, the solution is simply take out three ram and put only one ram onto slot B1 and see whether it boots up.
4 slots are there for a reason why would it do this?

Dropping in a 5700X3D would set you up for huge GPU upgrades in the future without needing to jump to AM5 so I'd consider that personally.
Jason! Another great video as always. Stay well and thanks for sharing!

Hi Jason. You are awesome.
Good morning! Hope you enjoy (:
I was always taught to use a pea size amount of thermal paste in the center of the cpu and spread it evenly with a credit card

MSI 850W MPG A850GF fully modular PCIE 4.0 power supply, MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk wifi, 2x16gb DDR4 3600 16-20-20 ram, 5800X3D, Noctua DH14 big tower air cooler, 2tb Samsung 990pro m.2 nvme ssd, 2x500gb sata ssds, Asus 4070 dual oc.

The 5600 isn't outdated, but you can upgrade to a 5700X3D if you want assuming your GPU won't bottleneck it.

Congrats on the Build! The cable gauge on that PSU is fine to daisy chain, but my default answer is usually "use two cables". Looks awesome!

Upgrading from 2060Super to Rx 7800xt based on your video about CPU/GPU combos. got a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, and i'm just not getting the FPS i want.
so we should not do a format and install anymore?
if i want to upgrade my NVME SSD, is it easy as just removing the old one and putting the new one in or their other steps to it?
We cover this here! You can jump to it in the chapter times
rtx 3060, i5 10400 need a upgrade?
How can I upgrade my pc?
I have ryzen 5 5600 and gtx 1650 with 8gigs of ram
What things should i upgrade ?ram ?or buying a cpu cooler?
I'd go for a GPU upgrade and a new 16gb RAM kit! The max GPU I'd pair with a 5600 is a 7800XT, so anything around there would give you a huge boost. And yes you should definitely invest in a new 16gb ram kit. And make sure you check your new wattage needs.
Is a good STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC, Intel Core i7 3.4G up to 3.9G, Radeon RX 5700 8G GDDR6, 16G RAM, 512G SSD, 600M WiFi, BT 5.0, RGB Fan x
flip the case on front stop use the sag coach on gpu so the cables are on top
My pc has i5 4470 and gt 710 , do I need a upgrade?
I would considering your CPU is 10 years old and I assume that GPU is old too.
That being said if you're happy with your performance you don't have to.
sure broh, order a i7-4770 for 30 bucks, and for video card I would need to see your PC, u can upload a video so we can take a look see but yeah a 710 is dismal, minimum basement floor is a Radeon HD / R7 / R9 ddr5 something something
That's entirely up to you and if you're happy with your current pc!
What about upgrading mother board? Or does upgrading the mother board not help in performance?
I also don't know if I need to reinstall windows on the nvme and uninstall it from the HDD, I plan on still using the drives I currently have (Sata and HDD) mainly for file storage as I do video editing as well but I'd like to transfer games and apps to the nvme's
its best to buy an external 3.5 hard drive, for example a WD BOOK, they are pretty cheap now, you dont have to get a huge one, just figure out how much space you have
@@MrSamadolfo well I have now 3 TB and I bought 3 more
@@Grey4953 🙂 Nice
amazing video tohugh, THIS IS WHAT SO MANY PEOPLE TRULY NEED TO BE EFFICIENT TILL A FULL REGUILD (if we all survive till 2026 lmfao usa life) but also cause zen 5 is sad but zen6 in 2026 COUDL BE EXTREEMLY EPIC
If I have a navidia graphics card and I’m upgrading to a better one that is also navidia do I have to uninstall the drivers like the video shows?
i currently have a radeon 5700 xt and a ryzen 7 3700x with a Asus Prime X-570 pro motherboard with 16 gb ram.
Just upgraded my evga rtx 2060 oc to a merc 6800xt for $375; $410 after taxes pretty solid deal I'd say.
yes congrats the 6800s 6900s are kinda hard to find but maybe theres a new batch
@MrSamadolfo there were a whole bunch of different brands and It was pretty hard to decide son which one but the merc looked kinda cooler even though the only colors is red black and white but still looks sweet
@@HosaBosa if you can chose theres really only two that are MUST GOTOs for Collection: Red Devil and the Sapphire Nitro
@@HosaBosa for your younger you can look for a used but faster radeon card such as the Vega 56 / 64, RX 5600 XT, 5700, 5700 XT, 6600 =)
i went from 2080s to 4080s and forgot about the driver part but lucky they have the same drivers
I have a question. I read stuff where you shouldn't update AMD GOUs as often as Nvidia. Is the true? I have the RX6750XT
That's probably referring to the AMD headroom being better with older CPUs than Nvidia.
@@PCBuilderChannel oh OK
I’ve been using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super for the past 4 years now. It preforms just fine for me, but I think I’m gonna upgrade just the GPU for some extra frames, and I’m considering the Intel Arc A580 or A750. I know that the A580 wouldn’t really have any noticeable bottleneck with the 3600, but do you think the extra $30 for the A750 is worth it and would it have better performance than the A580 even though it’s paired with a Ryzen 3600?
I would go A750 if you can afford it. The 6600 is another good choice.
Either option is good.
What's your current PSU wattage and what's your budget for upgrades?
can you get to Microcenter? they have the best cpu bundles
850W. If I can replace those components for under $600 I call it a win. I know I could put together various options in that price point but I just didn't know if one system is better for my needs than another. Everything pushed online is the best system for gaming. My system is great for gaming but when I'm processing thousands of photos it just seems to crawl.
@@DownwithDoug so here's my recommendation.
The CPU Cooler is there to accommodate any future CPU Upgrades.
It's list / PZMv9c in PC Part Picker
If you prefer RGB components you can go with this instead.
It's list / Bm9NbL in PC Part Picker
Either is good for this!
best thing about GPUs is that they don't require a socket, meaning you can upgrade them no matter what
Planning to upgrade from 6800 XT to 7900 XT/XTX
Currently have no plans with upgrading my PC except maybe the PSU since when I built the thing, I probably got a trash tier Thermaltake PSU...
PSU is one area I don't mess around! But its fairly easy to switch out as you see in the video (:
Holy RUclipsr.
Can you recommend a GPU for these specs? TIA

was thinking cpu 5700x3D paired with a 6800 XT? I do live near a microcenter just fyi
That's a good combo assuming you can find a 6800XT at a good price.

@@gustavoruiz3462 just note you could also jump up to AM5 with MicroCenter's 7700X CPU Bundle if you wanted to, though the 5700X3D is a great choice if you don't.
Hi I need your suggestion. I want to create a Home server that can be used for streaming in home theater via network.
Please suggest me hardwares that are needed. And is it possible to build it using new AMD epyc 4004 series?
