Material Displacement with Nanite in Unreal Engine 5.5

  • In Unreal Engine 5.5 you are now able to add displacement to your materials when they are on a nanite mesh. This tutorial goes over the basics of how to use your height map to setup a material and get instant displacement on your models using nanite.

    Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. What has been your experience with the performance of Nanite Tesslation in the real-world? Is it something suitable for production when used in a real environment?
