Glad I could help. Blades 1st were ran in our vacuum furnace and since that's highest heat it eliminates haveing to wrap the blades in foil wrap to prevent scaling . The tempers caused the discoloration/oxidation.
@@302mck7 😎👊I was pleasantly surprised that the dimensions all held. At least within a couple of thou. Super appreciative for your help and insight. Heat treat is most likely the next big step 🤘🤘
Thanks for the video, brother. I've been burnt-out with the hobby for a little while now. Yet I still look forward to your updates every Sunday, and I want you to know I appreciate that.

Always got cool stuff going on. That marauder sounds sweet. Fix blade looks awsome but I really love that skike. Blade shape just made it 100x better. 👊👌😎
Excellent seeing the progress. It’s also really cool watching your maturation as a knife maker. My process of making things is similar in that I start with a design and as I start building it, it becomes something that’s more an homage to the original design. Admittedly it’s probably easier for me because wood is easier to work on than steel but the process is very similar. I think I get the desire not to do fixed blades because they’re just not challenging enough. This is not to say they’re simple or easy to make but, comparatively, they are. Regardless of what you make though, I think you’ll never be able to make enough to satisfy the demand. Hope you have a great week!
@@jeffreydawson4520 thanks as always brother 😎👊🤘🤘. I do enjoy challenges Also folders are really my knife love. It seems like a no brainer for me and so many others have asked about fixed blades. Wow, these blades are looking good! I can tell how much fun you are having, it's all hard work paying off. I don't know if I could carry one knife for a whole month. A week is the longest I've done and that's always with different back ups for variety.
@@kenfaulkner5544 thanks Ken. One step at a time but I’m happy they’re progressing. If I could carry 2 I believe it wouldn’t be as difficult. Kinda forces me to and really get to know this T1. But I probably won’t carry it again for quite some time if I actually make it all month 👊😎🤘🤘

@@apex_alchemy_knives unbelievably quick and pleasantly satisfied that all the dimensions held. I didn’t know what would happen. I just blasted the first one and it all looks great. 😎👊
Awesome job on there with the double detent, it appears that added pressure throughout the action makes it money. Lots of movement on lots of your projects man, good stuff.
I carried the same one for 365 days on the nose, a WE Kitefin from back in the glory days when Zac did them BladeHQ lives. BestDamn Taylor had 1 on his live that he liked then the next week or whatever Zac was talking it up so I ordered it and used it as my slicer. When I realized I had been doing it for like 11 months I went ahead and looked up my order and ran it to 365. It was my first “200 dollars knife” so I still have it sitting around, it’s so thin it just cuts and cuts

I don't think I would want to carry the same one all month, except my little fixie I designed that AriesEDC made for me called the Flamingo 🦩! Just love it!
