Congratulations on the 8k!! Holey crap 20k? What a milestone! I re-read TTP once again to catch all of the Madison-Maisie moments and I didn't realise just how pivotal Madison was in the story. Like their paths crossed more than I remembered.
First we had the time when a boy wearing the Jefferson High varsity jacket, which I can only assume as Logan, dropped her off at her house and caressed her face??? Omg?? And the time when Logan and Madison ran into Conner and Maisie at the coffee shop? I NEED THEM PRONTO. It's so weird like if my favourite MLT ConSie pair had a soulmate pair it would be Logan and Madison? Does that even make sense?? They're like the other half of the story almost. I need them to have an epilogue where they're going on a double date LMAO.

My NaNo has been going slow because I'm neck deep in internship stuff for college (plus my brain decided it would be the perfect time to go through one of my backlist books and make the formatting prettier and fix it up further). So, I haven't drafted as much in Shrouded Curses book 4 as I would've liked to have done by now.
you've got soo much going on, so try not to beat yourself up too much! Internship stuff would take up so much brain energy, as well as going through backlist books. That's still so productive! Even if you haven't gotten in as much as you'd have liked, that's still amazing you're doing quite a bit at once, so definitely give yourself a little pat on the back!! ☺🫶

Even if I only get a few hundred or few thousand words added to the Shrouded Curses book 4 draft (and I give that count because I have at least a couple of hundred by now) it's still more than I had at the start of the month. And going through backlist books will only make me more proud of them. So, win-win
11620 words in, and I am already kicking my self about tooootally tanking my preptober game. There is already one chapter I loooathe and want to rewrite, but I wont let myself just yet. In addition, my Work is super busy just now of course, I am tired as hell but still somehow managing to stay on track - barely. In my free time I am devouring other peoples writting blogs, it helps sooo much not to give up.
i really wish i'd taken preptober more seriously! 😭But my friend, I'm so proud of you for hanging in there! Especially with work and personal life, it can be really hard to get words in, and you're crushing it. We'll get there!!!

I'm supposed to be at 10k but I'm at 5k. 😅 It's okay though, with my personal life as of late, the fact that I'm 2k further than I was when I started is a small success for me.
