This is the tune that plays in my head when I have overslept, wake up and then realise I have less than 10 mins to get ready before leaving the house for work.
Thank you. I have enjoyed your game OSTs since Streets of Rage 2 when I was young, your music is a part of my life. I can hear much better separation of instruments in this version. But I think your soundtracks from Etrian V would get bigger improvement from this!
man, your music never gets old! i've been a fan ever since i played Etrian Odyssey on the DS. nowadays these tracks inspire the encounters i put my friends through in tabletop RPGs, heheh. it's come full circle! totally unrelated, but i would happily pay for an EO4 FM soundtrack album.
I can't even really put my finger on it, but this version is a huge improvement. The horns don't feel as overpowering as the original, and the different instruments don't clash as much. I'm far from a music expert so I can't really get any more precise than that, but this is a great remastering.
It's incredible to me to see how many talented people came together to help bring your composition to life. I grew up playing games that you made compositions for, and I'm grateful for your efforts.
Yuzo, you are one of the best music composers of all time. Your music has influenced and moved me soo much for so long. How you can be this talented, only god knows.
It's a subtle difference, but this does "clearer" than the original version. If this tune is ever used in an Etrian Odyssey game again (Like it was in EO Nexus) then it would be great if this version was featured!
One of my absolute favorite tracks from Etrian Odyssey IV, this mix sounds amazing! I love the unique sound that your FOE themes throughout the series have, the intensity always gives me a lot of energy! Thank you very much for uploading this!
Oh wow, this is great! I love how now it's actually possible to clearly hear all the instruments, whereas before they were kind of all mushed together (although I think that was also the 3DS's fault).
Years later and this is still the song that I use as my alarm to jumpscare myself awake in the morning. Thise god damn kangaroos will forever live in my nightmares
The perfect theme to make you shit your pants, just like Monster House from the PMD series! I don't know much audio engineering, but the lead guitar is definitely easier to hear at 1:15 compared to Spotify, which I really like.
You make music. You compose for other companies. You have over 1k subscribers. YOU HAVE A FREAKING WIKIPEDIA PAGE. And RUclips still hasn't given you the musician verification mark, that's sad. Wish you luck my friend.
Hello sir!! I'm not sure if you'll see this, but I really adore your works, I've been following you for nearly a decade now! :) Do you have the sheet music for "Call that Dreadful Name" "その忌むべき名を呼べ" (it's the Abyssal God boss theme from Etrian 3), it's my all-time favorite track of yours and I'd love to see it!! If not, no worries! I figured it wouldn't hurt asking :) Have a lovely day Mr. Koshiro!!
Looks like ages since Cubase 5! I think this version sounds a bit too bright, and lacks some detail depth in the bass region. Awesome track nonetheless, and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your impression! I prefer the new mix but we've also known that up-to-date stuff is not necessarily the "cool." Also re-balancing the old mix is not that easy in any case.
Yuzo, I recently saw your post on twitter ( Beep! MegaDrive 1994 Magazine Scan ) Where you & Motohiro talked about the soundtrack for SOR3. Thank you both so much for not compromising your vision & not taking risks. For folks who didn't understand the style of music never took the time to understand how popular Grunge house music was back in the late 1980's & mid 1990's. There was the TV show that used to come on in Detroit called " The New Dance Show " There are plenty of clips of it on youtube. It was like a house version of "Soul Train" & Folks were really dancing hard to that genre of house. I'll leave a clip here ruclips.net/video/qO33UTbZXSo/видео.html I was only 5 at the time SOR3 was released, I was already into Chicago / Alternate / Acid / Dub House music. I'm quite sure you've heard of these DJ's Junior Vasquez, David Morales, Masters At Work, Steve Silk Hurley, Paul Johnson, E-Smoove, Arman Van Helden. You know how when they were popular songs on the radio. Such as artists like CeCe Peniston, Crystal Waters, Janet Jackson, Madonna, George Michael, etc & at the clubs they would play a remixed version. That's how I pretty much understood SOR3's theme , music. Because of the music I've already discovered at a young age. I made a SOR3 fan page listed here facebook.com/SOR3.Fans/ For fans to connect that enjoy the game as I do. I grew tired of being a part of SOR communities that would always made fans of SOR3 feel wrong / left out. So since I've dealt with that in other things in my life that people give me a hard time for. I told myself, ya know what..........make your own community for it therefore others can have a place to connect. In the midst of this long comment. I really want to say thank you both for doing this. It made me feel great that others who dare to take risks / strive in their creativity, have no regrets. I was going to write you on twitter. But I wouldn't be able to fit all of this on there lol I hope all is well with you, please take care - Tirips
Even in Yuzo Koshiro's channel, FOE!
This is the tune that plays in my head when I have overslept, wake up and then realise I have less than 10 mins to get ready before leaving the house for work.
Always thought the percussion on this track was especially good. The clarity on the snare is nothing short of perfect here.
Every day that I remember that Koshiro-san has a YT channel that I am subscribed to, is a good day. :)

Very powerful track, we are expecting a new game for switch.
This song is the perfect theme to die to. After listening to the Super Arrange of this I need an FM version alongside Faith Is My Pillar!
I know many people want the FM version of EOⅣ music. I want to realize someday.
@@yuzokoshiro2631 I don't know if you are able to sell Etrian Odyssey music on your own, but I would gladly pay for an FM version EOⅣ soundtrack.
@@yuzokoshiro2631 How many chances are for the cancelled Etrian Odyssey IV FM album to see the light of day, Sensei?
I like to think; because this was the first EO with an actual band you went all out with the FOE theme.
man, your music never gets old! i've been a fan ever since i played Etrian Odyssey on the DS. nowadays these tracks inspire the encounters i put my friends through in tabletop RPGs, heheh. it's come full circle!

Absolutely love this track! So much energy! just all of this is a yes! 🎸 Love your stuff Yuzo- alot of personality😆
Always a bright spot in the day when you upload something
Hope to give you guys a bright spot every day as possible. Thanks!
This awakens a primal fear within me that I haven't felt ever since I beat EO4.
Time to employ the Joestar secret technique.
The composition work on this is astounding, but I can tell by the credits it was a real team effort. Love this track and it sounds really clear here!
I'm really enjoying hearing all these new masters of old songs!
I can't even really put my finger on it, but this version is a huge improvement. The horns don't feel as overpowering as the original, and the different instruments don't clash as much. I'm far from a music expert so I can't really get any more precise than that, but this is a great remastering.
I absolutely love being able to see the score to your amazing tracks.
It's incredible to me to see how many talented people came together to help bring your composition to life. I grew up playing games that you made compositions for, and I'm grateful for your efforts.
That bass is the best, I spend half the of the fight just grooving
Yuzo, you are one of the best music composers of all time. Your music has influenced and moved me soo much for so long. How you can be this talented, only god knows.
ok I 100% would buy a full made for streaming remaster of all of the series' music, its honestly some of my alltime favorite music from you!
Itsumo subarashii desu. Koshiro-san, you never ceases to amaze and energize us with your musics
Really enjoying listening to these pieces you're sharing on YT. Great stuff.
I really like how the guitar is much clearer in this one. You did a really great job as usual.

Awesome work! I love the percussions part
Love your work. Hope we get to hear it in another game soon.
Amazing as usual
Hmm, been a while since I played 4, nice to hear the music again.
I'm currently playing through Etrian Odyssey IV for the first time and boy does this theme get the PTSD a'goin. ***damn giant pink tortoises...
Yeah, the differences are really subtle.
Wow, amazing very exciting and beautiful, bravo!
Very dramatic and on the cliff edge like music. How will it end? Another great piece.
Hey Yuzo, we miss you, please post more videos, we all here love it. Impressive how your english is better, I hope see you soon!! - From Brazil.
My God, this is just great!

Really, there's nothing more to add onto that. I will listen to this track in loop mode, enjoy the masterpiece.
Another Home Run! FM Version coming?
Did you ever make an FM version of Battlefield - Storm? That one has got to be my favorite battle theme of all time

世界樹の迷宮2 のBGM「初陣」の主要な和音は何でしょうか?
追神: 初陣は僕の一番愛用な戦闘BGMですから。僕は初陣から凄く勇者的なパワーを感じます。

THE Alberto Gonzalez commenting on Yuzo Koshiro's channel? Now I'm imagining a collaboration soundtrack.
