Hello gentlemen, I had a question when using the esp8266, because I don't know which pin to connect the led. I really appreciate whoever can help me.
Pls is there a way to send an IR signal with unknown protocol using this sketch of yours
Bigg tnx i need that for school
Hello. greetings from Brazil! Could I change the command language with your code? I'm grateful if you answer me.
hey, cen you make contact sensor use sinric pro
Plz make videos of all the supported sinric Pro deceives !
Try the rgb led controller!
Hi, could you tell me how to make ESPHome send three numbers (channels) to the TV?
I've been looking for days on this and haven't found anything.
Thanks.
If you train your device with the numbers, you can make a command that sends three numbers.
i made this but only on/off and mute are working .i cant change channel and volume .my ir codes are ok. earlier it was working with sinric. can i send my sketch?
Sure, I can take a look, remember you have to say the phrase “Alexa, change Chanel to (channelName) on (devicename).
i cant upload the code here. any email id ?

Nice!
@Garfield Raco spambots have girlfriends?
Can we use the same circuit to control an AC
You could use this to control anything IR in theory. So as long as you have an IR remote for your AC then yes you could. I’m pretty sure SinricPro has an AC as well.
Hi Tech Stuff DIY, Great video from you, it's awesome.... just i tried but channel was not changing on my TV, i have mentioned correct HEX Code. In serial monitor it was printing like "success: True", "message: ok"... but channel was not changing, please help me how to solve this error.
Have you tried varifying what is actually being emitted from the IR LED with an IR reciever via the serial monitor? Quite often the IR LEDs don't have a great range, it might be that it simply needs to be closer to the TV?
@@techstuffdiy7947 sorry for delay in reply, some random HEX Values are printing while saying wake word...
@@techstuffdiy7947 Bro, will you please help me how to do this project....

@@techstuffdiy7947 Sure, thanks for great help... finally i did, able to control the Set-Up box channels using Alexa.... just working on how to increase to dynamic volume number....
we need to use NPN transistor or MOSFET
Either should work. Transistor would be better as I’d imagine you’d get a slightly better range.
@@techstuffdiy7947 thanks Sir
@@techstuffdiy7947 BC 547 will work
Hey, can I use the ESP8266 for this project?
Yes, as my final board was an ESP-01 (which is an 8266) as they a smaller and super cheap.
@@techstuffdiy7947 Alright, Thanks for replying!
@@techstuffdiy7947 Hey there again, another quick question. The link for the IR receiver is not working, and the only alternatives I found do not ship here, so I found one in my old TV box. It's only the receiver though as I see yours is some kind of a module? Mine is not soldered onto a PCB like yours. Will it work just fine?
Hello gentlemen, I had a question when using the esp8266, because I don't know which pin to connect the led. I really appreciate whoever can help me.
i cant add more than 3 devices in siniric pro
Yes you get 3 for free, anymore costs a small fee.
@@techstuffdiy7947 any other website for alternative of siniric pro
Smartnest.cz is very similar. I have another video using Smartnest to make a doorbell.
@@techstuffdiy7947 ok bro make a video on that also

can i do this project without the transistor?
You could put the IR LED directly on the GPIO and GND with a suitable resistor, however the range would be very bad, maybe 2 metres max.
@@techstuffdiy7947 thanks
Sir your video is very professional & expert, Sir please small help me, I have Arduino Iot Relay control Code, Can you ADD IR Remote to that?
Please share yore email id so i can show u, help sir 🙏
