    Hi, could you tell me how to make ESPHome send three numbers (channels) to the TV?
    I've been looking for days on this and haven't found anything.
    Thanks.

      If you train your device with the numbers, you can make a command that sends three numbers.

    • @techstuffdiy7947

      You could use this to control anything IR in theory. So as long as you have an IR remote for your AC then yes you could. I’m pretty sure SinricPro has an AC as well.

    Hi Tech Stuff DIY, Great video from you, it's awesome.... just i tried but channel was not changing on my TV, i have mentioned correct HEX Code. In serial monitor it was printing like "success: True", "message: ok"... but channel was not changing, please help me how to solve this error.

    • @techstuffdiy7947
      @techstuffdiy7947  3 года назад

      Have you tried varifying what is actually being emitted from the IR LED with an IR reciever via the serial monitor? Quite often the IR LEDs don't have a great range, it might be that it simply needs to be closer to the TV?

    we need to use NPN transistor or MOSFET

    • @techstuffdiy7947

      Either should work. Transistor would be better as I’d imagine you’d get a slightly better range.

      You could put the IR LED directly on the GPIO and GND with a suitable resistor, however the range would be very bad, maybe 2 metres max.
