Can't belive they played this, Dominated Love Slave and Christie Road!! AMAZING!!!
I hope they play these songs on the World tour! =D
Some people have asked who he dedicates the song to. He says"This one's for Larry Livermore". He was the owner of Lookout! records and first signed them.
I love this song. I hope they will play it on tour!!
its fucking awesome to see them playing this stuff again
Yeah, better than the more commercial stuff.
goosebumps. Fantastic
To be honest....The sound is much richer. Although I would like just the three of them. But if it takes 4 of them to play their really old stuff, so be it. They haven't played those songs in so long, and if it takes jason to do it....GO Jason!
YEAH this is the best song of them :D
improv solo! nice touch billie
i saw them play peacemaker last night! fukin brilliant!
Also, lol at playing going to pasalacqua in eb. The song is recorded in standard tuning.
pasalaqua kicks ass
IIdirtymisstressII perfect song to open their shows
So does She, along w some of the other old songs! GD has too many good ones to count!
it aint so different man, just green day enjoy it :D
i didnt mean he made them do it i meant like its just weird how professional they are now compared to before, its a coincidence that jason came in the same time
I posted it in the 'more info' section above =D
yeaa it would be awesomeee but they played it as a request =( . it wasnt on the setlist
i was there was written by al sobrante, the old drummer, doubt they'll ever play it again...
They didn't rerecord those songs. The songs you hear on 1039/smoothed out slappy hours are just all compiled from their EP's slappy, 1000 hours, and 39 smooth. John is drumming on these tracks, not tre.
Agreed, I feel bad saying this about him. But seriously. I just want to the three of them you know? Especially for the old stuff.
Well just watch videos from 94 and 95. It sounds good, rich and theres only the proper 3 of them. So he's obviously not needed. I think Green Day need to realise he's an extra member, and just that.
do you know what the whole setlist for this show was?? =D
haha billie says PSYYKEEE after starting brain stew .
hahahha! almost.... behind two people
It makes me sad that Tre didn't lay down the original drum track. ='(
me too jason doesnt fit the groups image, i mean when he came in they started wearing the dress suits and stuff instead of whatever the hell that wanted, no more blue hair or tre's long green hair. and the craziness of mike and billie, they are too serious now
That's cuz now they're middle aged.
Why is Jason playing with them on the old stuff of 1039, kerplunk and Dookie? Hell even Insomniac. It should just be Green Day. I know hes needed on the AI and 21CB stuff but not on the oldies.
Why is he there!?
i dont understand what u say can u specificate it?
....did i say I wasn't?
Agreed. It pisses me off so much. It gets rid of their old signature tone.
.......psss psyche....lol
