Maybe a dumb question, but what if the spectator selects 6 to start with? Because then you're putting the 1 flat against the table. What would be the best way to get to 13?
Amazing trick! 👍 The combination of cards, die and a coin is very entertaining. Using the Quiver is a great idea. As an additional convincer, the spectator could see a blank piece of paper (of course the same size as the one already in the Quiver) and the prediction could be written on it in front of his eyes. He can open the empty quiver himself and the note goes inside. The Quiver can also be used to store the coin and dice - so it has 'justification' in the eyes of the spectator.
Always looking for routines using dice or a single die. I have so many dice that i even wear a necklace made of dice!! Gary in dreamland; have a nice dream!!🌟🌟🌟🌟☁️🙂☁️👍🌟🍬🍬☁️⏰☁️🍬🍬 dream!!
Yeah, there is something about dice that is just so magical, it's just luck and randomness in a physical form, and I find it beautiful! I hope you're doing good in that dream of yours my friend!

We can imagine variants to predict numbers other than 13. In the trick above we found 13 by adding 7 (sum of 2 opposite faces) and the obligatory face 6. We can : • replace 6 with 5 to force the number 12 • replace 6 with 4 to force the number 11 • replace 6 with 3 to force the number 10 • replace 6 with 2 to force the number 9 • replace 6 with 1 to force the number 8. For example, to force 12, it will be appropriate to hold the die at the start with the thumb on 5 and the index finger on 2. The spectator will have to choose between 1, 3, 4, 6. In the event of a right rotation choice, he You will then have to place the 2 on the right, and place the number chosen by the spectator on the upper face of the die. This will lead to adding 5 to two sides giving 7, to total 12. A very nice routine. Thank you from France
I had the same question about the one and the six. Technically, you could mention you will start out by rolling the dice and after 3 rolls, we will get a number. If they role a one then you are "golden", they can choose any direction. You could ask, do you want to START here or roll again.....For a six, you say, her comes roll number 1. Which way..... and then ask which way for the last two. Nice new force for sure.......
In that case, simply ignore the 1, and start with the second roll. If you do want to start with the 1, the total will always be 14. Which, if anyone knows anything about dice, it’ll be obvious what’s happening. (This case actually rolling it around 3 times)
Excellent routine. I felt really stupid when you explained the die trick. I've been doing magic long enough that I like it when someone can make me feel really dumb.

I was aware of sum 7 comceptbonly . That dice concept was new to me . Amazing utilisation ❤.
I love this number force with the die. 🤜🤛
What should I do if they choose 6 for the dice because the 1 will now be at the opposite side and we cannot get 13.
I was fooled by a Svengali deck! hahaha thanks for the humble pie.
Haha! Yeah, handling a Svengali deck in the old traditional ways is an automatic tip off. Just treat it like a regular deck, and you’ll fool anyone!

Exactly!!! Sometimes I leave small details out to be discovered on your own 😇 nice work!
I want the silver dollar please.

You could actually roll the die.
What a gem...
