Baroness thatcher was a towering figure in politica either in britain or in europe.she lived according to her principles and manager to bring britain into modernity. Thats why she paid a high price for this

She broke Britain and sowed its destruction for the next two or three generations. If you mean modernise by boom or bust you obviously have no clue about economics.

Absolutely hated Margaret Thatcher in the 1980’s and 1990’s. I sold the Socialist Worker outside my college. Was a paid up member of the Labour Party, always very much to the left of the party.
My thoughts regarding Thatcher have reversed almost completely in recent years. Obviously my politics have changed quite a bit in the last thirty odd years.

@@PaulRoneClarkeSo many say that. It’s partly because you were fed a line about her - the country was an economic basket case, you can blame Labour for the pain afterwards in the 1980s because the cure, like chemotherapy, was debilitating, but ultimately her economics were a triumph. All undone once again, of course. History has proved her mostly right and subsequent politicians have shown her to be a highly intelligent, hard working, committed, sincere and determined leader versus the rubbish we have now, all looking for a quick buck and a cushy life on a global committee or at google etc.

This is an excellent channel generally, but the thought that anyone who isn't a murderous freak could snooze off to Thatcher is kinda mad. Like, do you have some Pinochet ASMR handy? Maybe some Enoch Powell while you're at it?
Kudos on the other stuff, which helps me get to sleep, but come on...

Literally nothing is done to the interviews except editing out the interviewer and tweaking the audio slightly. Are you saying people shouldn't find relaxing voices relaxing? Should they repress that sensation because of the subject matter - which is often decades old in the interviews found on this channel? If you don't like serious subject matter for ASMR that's fine - but there's nothing "mad" or otherwise wrong with appreciating these relaxing voices. And who knows, maybe a person can learn something.

      @@Retox44RelaxingVoicesASM-yu4zq Hola!
I actually really like the way you edit out the interviewers in many cases. I appreciate that it's time-consuming, and it makes the videos much easier to fall asleep to. I'm sorry if I was a bit snappy and ungrateful. Your channel is genuinely really helpful in alleviating my sleeping problems.
And I'm not saying people shouldn't find relaxing voices relaxing. (I don't find Thatcher's voice in the slightest relaxing, but maybe that's just me!) I'm just saying she and her government actively supported authoritarian and in some cases genocidal regimes across the world and, at home, pandered to the BNP's racism and attacked working-class and gay people. I get that this may seem "ideological" or whatever, but I don't agree that the passage of a few short decades neutralises poisonous ideas and acts. That's why I thought it was kinda funny you'd put this up as a video to fall asleep to, though I understand your criticism.
I'm not accusing you of any sympathies, by the way. I get your reasoning. And I like "serious subject matter for ASMR" -- there's a lot of it on your channel and I nod off to it regularly. I'm just saying... well, you get what I'm saying.
I understand that I'm making a political point here and that this is not a political channel. I suppose my point was that ASMR content involving people who actively encouraged hatred (not least the continued criminalisation of gay people, for example), even if they happened to become British PM, is weird. Sorry for the long-windedness. Thanks for your hard work!

Meh. Who's the authoritarian? If you don't like it, don't listen. No-one gives a shit about your evidence-free ideology screeds. You're tortured by someone not in power for over 30 years. Keep your hateful opinions to yourself and let the rest of us enjoy stuff, ok?
