Campea, I'm sorry but David Prowse's movements in the original trilogy were consistently strong. The way David walked was always full of confidence, authoritarian and a leader in complete control. Even when he turned to face someone. Vader always stood perfectly straight with his shoulders back. Giving him an imposing stature. Re-watch the films and pay close attention. Of course James Earl Jones' voice was perfect and he deserves the accolades. But so does David Prowse. You can't have one without the other. Both created the best and most iconic villain in film history along with a little help from Ralph McQuarrie and others who designed the look of Vader. Re-watch TFA and look how Kylo Ren walks and stands. It's the complete opposite. There isn't the same confidence there. A weaker walk and his shoulders are always hunched over. Especially the scene when he first gets upset and slashes the console.
+forgothispassword Campea remarked that it didn't matter who was in the suit. He believed that David didn't do much to contribute, as it were, but that isn't true as I stated in my first post because it was David's interpretation of how Vader should walk, stand and turn, and Prowse's decisions on how to present Vader's movements that made him just as good as James Earl Jones' voice. They both complimented each other perfectly. I give full credit to David since George Lucas didn't really direct actors. You better believe that the gentleman in the suit in Rogue One studied the crap out of David's movements.
Jeremy Ralphael Exactly. He's a wannabe, a poser. When he has the mask on, it's all an act while underneath he's a frightened child who is unstable and unpredictable. Traits that make even more dangerous. Ironically enough, it's very telling since alot of people in the world put masks on to hide their insecurities. E.g. The more the swag, the less the self-confidence because the mask is the swag. To cover up the insecurities.
I too am not so sure the Han Solo movie should be made. Solo seemed to be in his late twenties in A New Hope. How old will this Solo be? In my mind, he would have to be between 17-20 for my mind to accept anyone else as Solo. Not to mention, visually he would have to look like he could become the Solo we already know.
I was shocked hearing Christian bashing the c3p0 comic one shot. I thought it was a nice little charming story about our favorite droid, it showed us why 3P0 is so special and different from the other robots.
+Михаил Затрутин I just feel like not everything has to be connected to the mythology and the main story. The same with the Chewie one, I just enjoyed it for what it was.
Kristian is wrong about the whole C-3PO situation. He tells BB8 that he has a replacement arm and he keeps forgetting to have it replaced. In the end he had it replaced. There ya go. Also, the comic is a one shot that's maybe a 7 out 10. Nothing great but definitely not bad.
+Baka Gunshin Fan since 76. Not all of us - I certainly never asked for it, not wanted one. I'm down with stories more like Rogue One...based on characters that we DON'T know. As for Han's death, I was down for it BTW.
Mark saying Leia will survive until the end of the new trilogy because "someone needs to be there to cry over Luke Skywalker's body" gave me chills. Fucking love Star Wars so much, haha
Why does Kristian Harloff keep on saying the Old Republic could be 500 years before TPM. It was established in that film that the Sith had vanished for a millenia.
I respectfully disagree with Campea on David Prowse's contribution to Star Wars. He created that Vader swagger, that walk, those movements. Could someone else have done it? Sure. But David was there at ground zero and he created the movement of Vader, and any actor will tell you that movement is very important to performance.
+John Curcio Yeah, I ranted about that yesterday. As long as the gentleman in the Rogue One Vader suit studied David, I'll be happy. But I will know instantly if he didn't. And I won't be happy because any performer putting on an iconic outfit in a story that takes place mere days (weeks) before ANH, can't start walking and moving differently. It won't sync up to Ep IV. I have faith though that it'll be good.
+John Curcio Totally agree, and mr. Prowse hasn't been the only one to play Vader, in episode 3 it was Hayden, and even though its just in a couple of scenes, he doesn't seem imposing or menacing, it just looks like a skinny kid in a costume
+John Curcio I agree. When Hayden was in the suit in ep 3 his body language was so noticeably different. I saw an old toy commercial with R2 and 3PO in it and I knew right away that it wasn't Tony Daniels in the costume.
+David Sykes so says every "Starwars fan" that heard how awesome it was in the last five years" learn the universe and come back with another perspective.
Joruus C'baoth was a clone of Jorus C'baoth, a Jedi master from before the Republic fell. They did explain that very clearly in the book. Sometimes I feel like I should stop judging people for not knowing all the details about fictional universes as I do. Probably ought to start judging myself :p
My theory for Leia dying in Episode 8: So... the First Order knows where the Resistance homeworld is, they just couldn't blow it up with the Starkiller. Instead, they're going to send a fuckton of star destroyers (led by Hux) and ground troops (led by Phasma). Realizing that they're fighting a losing battle, the Resistance begins an evacuation. However, the only way to get past the star destroyer blockade is a hail mary that requires a sacrifice. Basically, Leia has a "going down with the ship" moment, like she has to move into position and detonate the reactor of a super-cruiser or something to temporarily disable weapons/tracking/hyperdrive systems (whatever it takes) of all the nearby star destroyers.
Campea's comment on acting Vader is dismissive without a proper reason. It's like saying, I don't care if Beckam shoots the penalty or Sivonjić. They both know to kick the ball anyway, so... lol. The proper actor definitely needs to know how Vader acts, how he thinks and exactly how he's doing things. It is most certainly not a cakewalk.
Michael RedCrow i think with good direction and basic coordination, any tall dude with right build can do what prowse did. Earl Jones is a thespian and amazing actor from the stage. What he brought with his voice was true skill that can't be matched.
Jen is Rey's Mom.. It would be stupid NOT to make her Rey's Mom. 1. Luke and Jen are roughly same age. 2.Luke and Jen are both in Rebel Alliance. 3. Jen is at Yavin 4 Rebel Base with Luke. 4. Young Guy and Young Girl, stuck on Hoth with plenty of downtime to get to know each other. 7. Over the course of Episode 4 to 6, Luke builds up a relationship with Jen. 8. And Yes, Jen is a Brunette, Rey is a Brunette.
+Caleb Badrulzaman Agree 100% I have no interest in seeing a young Han Solo movie really don't care about that but an Obi-Wan movie with Ewan McGregor I'm definitely on board for that, Ewan was one of the best things about the prequels.
I love coming back to these old council videos! This was a great time to be a star wars fan. So much was happening and it was exciting! Now, RUclips is filled with nothing but toxic fans and everyone is divided. I want to feel excited again for the stuff to come but it's so hard to get in that mode again.
If I had to guess I would say less than 5% of people who have actually played EVERY game mode on battlefront don't like the game. Sure it's not better than the first 2 but those cmon those games were arguably the best ps2 games of all times. In my opinion EA's battlefront is the funnest all-online game I've ever played.
I would like to see Revan (The Old Republic), Kyle Katarn and Starkiller in the films. Also, Juno Eclipse, PROXY, Rahm Kota, Mara Jade and Jan Ors would be lovely too if they made canon...
it was cheap shot, nobody should have a pop at the green cross code man) unless you're a Brit you may not get that reference :-)) that being said Prowse has taken a few pops himself at SW and Campea is right in that vader is nothing without Earl Jones' voice performance
+swfcocs1 yeah! Gotta respect representatives of road safety!! :) it goes without saying that Vader is nothing without earl Jones but it's the way John puts it across, it's nasty and inappropriate.
In Bloodlines, I would adore a situation where Snoke isn't explained at all because that's for the films, but he should be the leader of an Anti Leia political group that preaches peace and that's a whole ruse but it gives him political power in a cool way, establishes how everyone knows Snoke by his first name during Episode 7 and also gives logic to how Ben Solo could actually be influenced by Snoke without raising suspicion.
C3PO having his arm at the end of TFA is NOT a continuity error. It was intentional. He got it fixed. You think they were getting Daniels dressed for that scene, and they just happened to put the wrong arm on, when he hasn't had the gold arm through the whole movie? Please.
6.5/10 - IGN Right. He says something like, "I must get my correct arm reattached." So the implication is the arm is there somewhere, ready to get put back on. They just hadn't gotten around to it. And sometime before that last shot, it got put back on. Kristian is crazy.
I could see them putting Sabine graffiti in Rogue One in a shot..that would be dope to see especially after Prinze Jr said we see her character really step up in season 3
Rogue One's reference to Rebel is going to be when the Grand Admiral asks Vader they need an Inquisitor and Vader will say they are no longer need and no longer exist.
While you guys are disappointed in Battlefront, i happen to LOVE it! i play it almost all the time and I especially play it every Thursday (after Schmoes of course) while listening to Jedi Council. Its a fun ritual I have thanks to you guys! I play Battlefront while listening to the best Star Wars show out there!
Snoke kills Leia with Ben watching. Calling it now. I think he will have more of an attachment to his mom than he did with Han and I think him seeing his mother die in front of him will kick him back towards the light. My guess is Kylo and Rey will team up against Snoke in Episode IX.
"There's no reason for me to buy the 3D Blu-ray unless there's more deleted scenes" Except for the whole 3D thing. That might be a good reason to buy the 3D Blu-ray.
On may the 4th a few years ago a city in my state screened the OT (special edition) marathon. Seeing those movies, especially A new hope on the big screen was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I ever had, When i thought i couldn't love that film anymore, seeing it in that format with a bunch of other fans was awesome.
49:48 3-CPO was against going into the escape pod. Sure, he helped fix the hyperdrive once, but he told R2D2 not to "trust a strange computer" when R2D2 told him the hyperdrive was de-activated at the end of the movie. He was bolting out from Jabba's palace as soon as he quietly knocked on the door and had no idea why they were there.
The re-release is great for those born since '97, and for those of us who were around for the first time, any chance to see the OT in cinemas is most welcome...
I feel like rerunning the Spec. Eds. in theaters again is a great move. There are lots of little kids who became new fans of Star Wars with Force Awakens, giving them an opportunity to see the old ones in theaters too is great.
C3PO literally says 'I have to get my proper arm reinstalled' before we see him with his golden arm in the final scene. So no continuity error at all. It would be so great if people would get their facts straight before they are being smug about so called 'errors'
+Jackson Perez It's a joke among comic-book nerds. Spoilers for Batman and Superman origin stories to explain why Batman and Superman's mothers are both named Martha.
OMG I completely forgot about "Splinter Of The Minds Eye". I remember that from the early '80's and I thought it was the first novel, but I wouldn't know. I need to see if I still have that book somewhere. I had not heard those words since all those years ago until tonight when you said them. Such a nostalgic moment, thank you for mentioning it.
+Jar Jar Boinks I would have to see the trailers. We just don't need origin stories and sh1te but Disney wants to make movies w/known characters. If the trailers don't thrill me, I will definitely skip it like I did with BvS
it wouldve been fine for me if they chose a similar looking actor like they did with obi wan. but nooo, they chose an actor who looks more like an old jake lloyd to play mfkn han solo. hahaha
cheer me up gang. the world lost a great person and Soldier yesterday. Joseph Marsh, U.S. Cavalry, stationed out of Fort Bliss. STAR WARS Fan, and all around good human being. combat veteran, and life of any party.
Best characters in the former Expanded Universe: Thrawn, Karrde, Mara Jade (these previous three are all Zahn creations), and Aayla Securra (comics more than clone wars cartoons).
Campea is so wrong about it not mattering who is in the Vader suit. On one of the OT shoots, Peter Mayhew was sick and they got someone else to be in the Chewie suit. But it just didn't work and everyone could tell it wasn't Chewie. (And yes, it was noticeable to me that there was another actor for 80% of Chewie's scenes in TFA.) It will be noticeable that Prowse isn't in the Vader suit too. He had a certain air about how he performed that character. And give the guy some credit, he did all the lightsabre fights too, he didn't just turn his head for every scene.
David Prowse was amazing. no one else can do Vader's voice other than JEJ and David Prowse deserves the same respect for what he done under than mask. similar to puppetry I guess
i've seen some of the behind the scenes footage of the ESB, and Prowse didnt do all the lightsabre fights;I'm not even sure if he did any. The person who did do some of the lightsabre fights was a guy that actually knew how to sword fight, or i think he might've been a stuntman that had some skills in some kind of swordsmanship
I cant remember if you talk about the unsafe TFA walkway on starkiller base in this episode, but I have a theory that they base is of Serenno design do to a line out of the Darth Bane Rule of Two, which might not be cannon but it is still my favorite book, and it says. " They disembarked to find themselves on a small landing pad constructed atop a tall outcropping of stone rising up like a pillar from the ocean. Fifty meters away stood the towering cliffs of the shoreline, their tops the same height as the landing pad. A single two-meter wide durasteel walkway connected the landing pad to the clifftops. Halfway along the walkway, perfectly centered between the cliffs and the landing pad, was a wider five-by-five-meter platform, supported underneath by a crisscrossing skeleton of reinforced girders. There were no railings on either the landing pad or the catwalk. Johun knew the lack of railings-like so many other aspects of Serenno's culture-were symbolic. There was a long-standing tradition of fierce independence among the nobility. Railings on the walkway or the landing pad would have been a sign of weakness, an admission of frailty and mortality that would have undermined House Nalju's pride and position."
It's in the WGA script that C3PO was meant to have his arm replaced. This was because Anthony Daniels hated the idea of the red arm; putting it in the end was a compromise of sorts between JJ and Daniels.
I read Lost Stars, and all i can say is I want more. I want to know what happens to Thane and Ciena. I think there is room to still have another thrilling, emotional adventure, though this time together. And with this being new canon, plenty of room i think.
You know, with the right makeup and hairstyling, Alden Eirenreich could look almost exactly like young Harrison Ford. Their faces are pretty much the same shape.
I'm gonna guess no hand lost. One of the things i loved in TFA is that showed lightsabers could do really cool damage outside of just cutting things off.
Regarding hands and arms getting cut off: In Episode VII, Unkar Plutt had has armed ripped off by Chewie in a deleted scene (that we don't get on the Blu-ray). I remember watching Ep VII and noticing no one had a limb cut off, and was suspecting maybe Rey would slice off Kylo Ren's arm or leg, but that didn't happen. So I thought this movie broke the pattern of people losing body parts. But then I learned about that deleted scene, which shows they did have the limb removal scene (a parallel to the Walrus Man), but cut it out.
Spoke to one of my friends the other night who is a star wars fan and he thought Rogue One was a reference to Rogue Squadron :) I gently corrected him ... but that would make a great film, Wedge creating and leading Rogue Squadron.
+Garry Richardson unfortunately the direction disney has taken the franchise takes the original origin of that series out of the realm of possibility but they could keep the overall concept and rework it with the new cannon and I think it would be epic. Rouge squadron is by far my favorite book series that I've ever read. Take the new characters and maybe replace wedge with poe and all the stories from the novels we love so much could be spinoff movies to fill in the time gaps between the saga episodes
GMBRAND75 Absolutely agree. Love the books to and the graphic novels. I can't see a downside to this series of movies especially if Rogue One's war film style goes over well with audiences. Give them a fighter squadron to cheer for.
Re-watch TFA and look how Kylo Ren walks and stands. It's the complete opposite. There isn't the same confidence there. A weaker walk and his shoulders are always hunched over. Especially the scene when he first gets upset and slashes the console.
Because Kylo Ren isn't as confident as Vader
+forgothispassword Campea remarked that it didn't matter who was in the suit. He believed that David didn't do much to contribute, as it were, but that isn't true as I stated in my first post because it was David's interpretation of how Vader should walk, stand and turn,

To cover up the insecurities.
love you guys. Thursdays are the highlight of the week for me.
Same
+Chris Scheidt dido
Except Campea
Same here!
+Sperminator10000 well its sure as hell not work. lol
What? Who doesn't like Harloff's "What's the deal with canon" ??
It's awesome!
***** According to the search engines, Ford was 33 but the character was suppose to be 29.
I was shocked hearing Christian bashing the c3p0 comic one shot. I thought it was a nice little charming story about our favorite droid, it showed us why 3P0 is so special and different from the other robots.
I agree. Was surprised by it.
+Tormenta China Same here. What's his deal?
Tony Stark He just didn't read it clearly or understand it as he didn't catch the line from 3PO that 'I will be this arm for awhile. To remember.'
+Tormenta China he was dead set on hating it from the start, so no surprise here.
+NitsujRelis I was hoping someone would point this out.
I know we have to accept it but who actually put their hands up and said we want a young Han Solo movie? Nobody I know.
I wanted one.
I want one too
+ttandc I don't think we necessarily need one, but now that we're getting one I'm VERY excited.
+Baka Gunshin Fan since 76. Not all of us - I certainly never asked for it, not wanted one. I'm down with stories more like Rogue One...based on characters that we DON'T know. As for Han's death, I was down for it BTW.
+ttandc Exactly ! Sure i love Han but im not sure i want an entire movie about him, especially if it's a prequel wich i guess would mean no jedi ?
Mark saying Leia will survive until the end of the new trilogy because "someone needs to be there to cry over Luke Skywalker's body" gave me chills.
Fucking love Star Wars so much, haha
he said that?
+Pumpkin Guy yeah mark in this show not hamill
gkselnes okay, just needed to know. Didn't get there yet
+timhatten Couldn't Artoo cry-ish? Or..emote crying sounds?
Why does Kristian Harloff keep on saying the Old Republic could be 500 years before TPM. It was established in that film that the Sith had vanished for a millenia.
Can we just get Mark Riley on all the time? Love his opinions and his jokes/impressions. Go Yodi!!!
+Alex Loqué I know I just love every time they have him on.

+Detroit_6182 Original Trilogy.
+John Curcio ha! what?! he did not create the movement. The suit was so limited that he was forced to move like that. Not much skill required.
My Top 3 fan favourites are Thrawn, Kyle Katarn and Darth Revan. Honourable mention to Corran Horn and Mara Jade.
+Spider Sam06 Cadeus is great,as are Revan and Bane and Plagueous IMO
+David Sykes Yes, Revan, Thrawn and Darth Bane or Traya/Kreia are mine.
+David Sykes so says every "Starwars fan" that heard how awesome it was in the last five years" learn the universe and come back with another perspective.
+Spider Sam06 who is this old legend, Ceadus? I heard his name was Kylo but
remade 25 years later.
+BigPoppa1830 he is han and leias son who turns dark and becomes darth cadeus-the series is called legacy of the force
My Friday hour commute to work is my favorite drive of the week. Thanks guys!
Why is John Campea always so grumpy? Should nickname him Darth Bitter.
i would pay GOOD MONEY to have good sirs Harloff, Ellis and Campea sing/performs that Jedi Rocks/Cantina Song in full. i cannot stop laughing.
C3PO's red to gold arm is too big to be a continuity error. He mentions getting his proper arm re-installed and that's what happened
+Alexander Davis that's not what I'm saying. Kristian says that it's a continuity error in the film when he gets his gold arm back but it's not
+Alexander Davis No worries pal, Abram's even mentions it on the Blu Ray, it's just a way of adding some story to 3PO
I always get so hype when I see this in my feed! Always the best part of the week :)
same here! I live heroes with schnepp! he a boss! hahah
It'd be awesome to have a side bar with all the topics for the show
That'd be too complicated I think
+Jack Mason No it would be just like Movie talk
+anthony d yeah but council runs longer and more topics usually. If it it would work, I agree completely.
+Jack Mason true, i think it could be cool to have a reference bar or something
I honestly think it takes up to much space, but that's just me
My theory for Leia dying in Episode 8:
So... the First Order knows where the Resistance homeworld is, they just couldn't blow it up with the Starkiller. Instead, they're going to send a fuckton of star destroyers (led by Hux) and ground troops (led by Phasma). Realizing that they're fighting a losing battle, the Resistance begins an evacuation. 31:01 kick campea out
+Brandon Mr. Prowse? Is that you?
In Rogue one vader doesnt walk/turn his head in the right way so Campea is full shit
Campea's Vader impression, looking back and forth, SLAYED me.
Best show on Collider!!
This channel REALLY deserves 10x more subscribers.
Is Kristian serious about that 3po comic. It was amazing
"Hey Dummies" knocked me off my chair, haven't laughed that hard in a while holy fuck
Campea's comment on acting Vader is dismissive without a proper reason. It's like saying, I don't care if Beckam shoots the penalty or Sivonjić. They both know to kick the ball anyway, so... lol. +MarkaN How he thinks? Tell me what Prowse did to capture the "feel" of Vader? I'm all ears. Because if you are the right build...it aint that hard.
***** Ask him.

7. Over the course of Episode 4 to 6, Luke builds up a relationship with Jen.
8. And Yes, Jen is a Brunette, Rey is a Brunette.
CGI Harrison Ford should play Han Solo.
May this show never end as well as Star Wars.
I dont care about Han Solo movie. Give me Obi Wan with Ewan.
+Caleb Badrulzaman YES!!!!!!!!
Yessssss
+Michael RedCrow Well you said everything I was thinking. MAKE IT HAPPEN DISNEY!
Ewan is awesome as Obi Wan.
Cpt.Grimsdale Nemo
then watch the OT
+Caleb Badrulzaman Agree 100% I have no interest in seeing a young Han Solo movie really don't care about that but an Obi-Wan movie with Ewan McGregor I'm definitely on board for that, Ewan was one of the best things about the prequels.

"2nd favorite, next to In and Out Burger!" Lol Reilly is hilarious
Imagine they put out a Mark Hamill commentary for The Force Awakens and he says nothing.
Haha! That would be so good!
Wouldn't it be incredibly mind blowing if we saw the final battle between Ahsoka and Vader in Rogue One. Maybe in my dreams.
anyone notice reily looks like steve carrell
Hahaha
+Jimmy Woo not until you brought it up but yea i can totally see a resemblance. good call lol
+GMBRAND75 he looks just like Steve carrell on the cover of 40 year old virgin.
I would like to see Revan (The Old Republic), Kyle Katarn and Starkiller in the films. Also, Juno Eclipse, PROXY, Rahm Kota, Mara Jade and Jan Ors would be lovely too if they made canon...
It's that time baby 👍
Hahahahahaha I almost died laughing when John threw David Prowse under the bus. Oh man that was funny.
Just lost respect for campea after his cheap shot to David Prowse
it was cheap shot, nobody should have a pop at the green cross code man) unless you're a Brit you may not get that reference :-)) that being said Prowse has taken a few pops himself at SW and Campea is right in that vader is nothing without Earl Jones' voice performance
+swfcocs1 yeah! Gotta respect representatives of road safety!! :) it goes without saying that Vader is nothing without earl Jones but it's the way John puts it across, it's nasty and inappropriate.

Wow! Kristian Harloff's confidence is starting to wane on Luke being Rey's father.
+Kenny Ritchie I was not sure I caught that but I am with you he needs too stay objective in his position
Mark Reilly is awesome! Deffo need this guy in more collider shows
hot damn. Jedi council makes my day
+alexander soriano Yes...yes it does!
Rogue One's reference to Rebel is going to be when the Grand Admiral asks Vader they need an Inquisitor and Vader will say they are no longer need and no longer exist.
I've heard so many good things about the c3po you guys are the only people that really hated it
+Noah Said they don't realize it was a one-shot either.
Dang that's a solid theory, that would be really interesting.
+Cameron Babb I too was thinking about this, great minds Cameron.
I dont think thats gonna happen.
"There's no reason for me to buy the 3D Blu-ray unless there's more deleted scenes"
Except for the whole 3D thing. That might be a good reason to buy the 3D Blu-ray.
Tell that to Kanjiklub
On may the 4th a few years ago a city in my state screened the OT (special edition) marathon. Seeing those movies, especially A new hope on the big screen was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I ever had, When i thought i couldn't love that film anymore, seeing it in that format with a bunch of other fans was awesome.
Didn't Dooku lose BOTH HANDS before Anakin Killed him?
+Rick Quick Yeah he did.
+Boba Fett OMG its Boba Fett!!!!
Your'e no good to me....alive
John was so right about the darth vader comment there was no need to even try to argue him
+DodgeCanon5 yep. People are too caught up with all things star wars and think even the extras in iconic scenes deserve credit
could you watch a star wars movie all about droids?
Everybody look so confident and relaxed compared to when they do their daily shows. Just saying. Love Mark's voice!!!! God bless you guys!!!
48:30 BUT JOHHHNNNNN!..if it wasn't for C3-P0 the band would have been roasted and eaten be Ewoks in Return of the Jedi ;p
Young Han Solo should be Anthony Ingruber
The re-release is great for those born since '97, and for those of us who were around for the first time, any chance to see the OT in cinemas is most welcome...
Rocha, BESPIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHA!!! Kristian's joke about Bob Iger alone was worth the view! Another great episode Collider!
I wanna see Kyle Katarn in the films
i agree
+CarelessWhispers ASMR I don't. He was the Chuck Norris of the EU.
+Clone Trooper Commander Doom I actually like Chuck Norris. And Kyle Katarn was a great character (along with Jan Ors)...
Daniel Brongers Chuck Norris in Star Wars? Nah. Leave that shit to the defunct EU
I feel like rerunning the Spec. Eds. in theaters again is a great move. There are lots of little kids who became new fans of Star Wars with Force Awakens, giving them an opportunity to see the old ones in theaters too is great.
Joru'us C'baoth is pronounced Jor-ooo-us Sa - bi - oth and was a clone of Jorus C'baoth. Just helping out :)
C3PO literally says 'I have to get my proper arm reinstalled' before we see him with his golden arm in the final scene. So no continuity error at all. It would be so great if people would get their facts straight before they are being smug about so called 'errors'
When are you gonna get John Boyega on
"Yellow, red"
"Ooooh"
I cracked up. Hilarious
I still think Anthony Ingruber could pull it off
I liked the C-3PO comic. It explores why the droids act like they do and answer the question as to how sentient droids actually are.
Thanks Campea, the MTV Movie Awards are trash
Only the Ariana Grande Part was Awesome
+Aaron Trainor lolfuckmycock
+Cpt.Grimsdale Nemo (Seneca)
When did I say they weren't
+Cpt.Grimsdale Nemo (Seneca) And the MTV awards are on an entirely different level of garbage
At the very least, Aftermath gave the character of "Snaps" Wexley from TFA. Nice to have that additional connective tissue.
Martha is Rey's mother!
+Dontuween WHY DID U SAY THAT NAME!!!! Lol
+Francisco Navarro lmao it never gets old
Nope lol
WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT NAME!!!!!
nooo aunt ma is!!!
Thanks Mark!! I agree the fries at In-N-Out are SUB PAR!!!!
I wonder if Rey's mom is named Martha...
+Jeremy Villaroman Mara is pretty close :P
WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT NAME!!!!!!
+Jackson Perez It's a joke among comic-book nerds. Spoilers for Batman and Superman origin stories to explain why
Batman and Superman's mothers are both named Martha.
+Nathan Andrews dude, I was making a joke about bvs
+Jackson Perez Their moms are still both named Martha in the comics and the movies.
Aldren Ehrenreich is 5'9 so he is shorter
I love every time Kristian sings the Snootles song. It cracks me up.
Han Solo my fucking ass.
We dont need this shit.
+Nix Buniel agreed. im gonna skip that one.
+dalton Don't lie to yourself no matter how dumb of an idea it is you'll be in the line on release
+Jar Jar Boinks I would have to see the trailers. We just don't need origin stories and sh1te but Disney wants to make movies w/known characters. If the trailers don't thrill me, I will definitely skip it like I did with BvS
it wouldve been fine for me if they chose a similar looking actor like they did with obi wan.
but nooo, they chose an actor who looks more like an old jake lloyd to play mfkn han solo. hahaha
Who cares
cheer me up gang. the world lost a great person and Soldier yesterday. Joseph Marsh, U.S. Cavalry, stationed out of Fort Bliss. STAR WARS Fan, and all around good human being. combat veteran, and life of any party.
Drink one for me, battle.
+eltontaylor162 will do. Glenlivet and Coke tonight.
+Exotic Orisha no....no way he deserves the same respect as earl jones. Prowse did not put in as much creativity and skill as earl jones.
I cant remember if you talk about the unsafe TFA walkway on starkiller base in this episode, but I have a theory that they base is of Serenno design do to a line out of the Darth Bane Rule of Two, which might not be cannon but it is still my favorite book, and it says.
" They disembarked to find themselves on
a small landing pad constructed atop a
tall outcropping of stone rising up like a
pillar from the ocean. Fifty meters away
stood the towering cliffs of the
shoreline, their tops the same height as
the landing pad. A single two-meter wide
durasteel walkway connected the
landing pad to the clifftops. Halfway
along the walkway, perfectly centered
between the cliffs and the landing pad,
was a wider five-by-five-meter
platform, supported underneath by a
crisscrossing skeleton of reinforced
girders.
There were no railings on either the
landing pad or the catwalk. Johun knew
the lack of railings-like so many other
aspects of Serenno's culture-were
symbolic. There was a long-standing
tradition of fierce independence among
the nobility. Railings on the walkway or
the landing pad would have been a sign
of weakness, an admission of frailty and
mortality that would have undermined
House Nalju's pride and position."
Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Palleon & Mara Jade.
I love Palleon because he is a villain you have no choice but to respect as a man of honor.
Thank you Kristian! It would be terrible to see the Skywalker line die out on the dark side.
Harloff doing his best Deadpool impression!
It's in the WGA script that C3PO was meant to have his arm replaced. This was because Anthony Daniels hated the idea of the red arm; putting it in the end was a compromise of sorts between JJ and Daniels.
I didn't mind Aftermath too much, didn't love it but didn't hate it either so I am quite looking forward to Blood Debt.
I read Lost Stars, and all i can say is I want more. I want to know what happens to Thane and Ciena. I think there is room to still have another thrilling, emotional adventure, though this time together. And with this being new canon, plenty of room i think.
4:58 spilled coffee and fell over laughing.
Forgot this was on, made my day when it popped up in my inbox
You know, with the right makeup and hairstyling, Alden Eirenreich could look almost exactly like young Harrison Ford. Their faces are pretty much the same shape.
I'm gonna guess no hand lost. One of the things i loved in TFA is that showed lightsabers could do really cool damage outside of just cutting things off.
"I always thought Taron Egerton was a little too short to play Han Solo" Alden Ehrenreich is 5ft7. He's shorter than Taron. Taron is around 5ft8!
"I wish they wouldn't make a Han Solo film but i'll go and see it 5 times" stand by your principles!
I would not be suprised to see Chopper in the background in a rebel base scene in Rogue One. Thoughts?
