There's some speculation that they got financially raped by Sumerian Records, which honestly wouldn't be hugely surprising. They were literally teenagers when they got their record deal, there was probably a predatory contract involved. The running theory is that they weren't making money from records, touring, and merch and ended up in some debt. But yeah, unless something changes there, no more Chon. Really unfortunate. Mario, Erick, Esiah, and Nathan have released several Lofi albums under different producer names though. It's under Orange Sofa Lofi. Sounds just like them, but Lofi.
