Correct and the reason I used a different series. The earnings are not in the July 19 option series I used. The earnings are on July 23

Yes as traders buy puts and calls, in anticipation of earnings, Implied Volatility will rise accordingly, some traders will buy ATM Straddles if they are expecting a large move in either direction.
