It’s the USB-C got me to buy them even though I already have the 2nd gen from last fall. Now I’m going to talk to Verizon about upgrading to the 15 Pro Max so I never need lightning again! It’s seems crazy but every stream lining/simplification we can make gives us extra time throughout the day which adds to a more creative life!
I had to turn convo awareness off. I often talk to myself while I’m doing chores and whatever I’m listening to is attenuated. Then I have to run back whatever I was listening to since I missed it. It works really well but is inconvenient for me. Being a stay at home dad I rarely have actual conversations anyway.
I didnt know there was a USBc APP2. Just bought the 2023 but was on sale $169 Walmart black friday. Waiting on my Pro max 15 to arrive tomorrow and wont be able to maximize my experience. Thank you for all the tech tips. New sub.
I can’t use adaptive mode at my gym. It’s loud and goes in and out and half the time I end a set, it kicks in and I think I’m dying or blacking out. I had to disable it! But for anything else, it’s good!

But these caught my attention so I had to get ‘em…. My god it feels great to have Find My tracking and the seamless connectivity to my iPhone 15, i can charge on my magsafe battery wallet and the ANC is incredible.

Hi All! I just got them and I find when I get a call, it doesn’t go straight to the pods. I have to toggle w it until it decides to connect. I’ve reset and all that but these are brand new and NOT CHEAP. I’ve read this is an issue. Any advice?
There is a way to force update them. I called Apple and: Charge fully Pair to phone Play music for 10 sec Put both back in case Close case Set it and phone down Wait 30 mins Don’t open case early. Worked on both pairs I updated.
Probably fakes. Way to check is look for the serial number on each AirPod. If they’re the same, they’re fakes. Mine wouldn’t update from the 5A377 or something, luckily got a refund from the guy. Worst part is they had apple limited warranty and checked out on their site using the serial number. Fakes are getting witty.

Yeh this auto volume down thing it’s very annoying especially if someone walks by me and talking Ai thinks it’s me who is having conversation and automatically brings volume dawn then go up in few seconds since it’s doesn’t detect conversation still dumb as usual. May be instead ripping people off by making the same phone every year with different model number, they should put their minds together and make Siri and Ai actually better every year but hey who is asking me I’m just consumer Apple doesn’t care what I think.
Eduardo, I have a prediction: The Apple Watch 10 in 2024 will no longer require a proprietary Apple Watch charger, but (like the Airpod Pro 2) will charge on a Qi Magsafe charger pad. What do you think? Thanks for your videos!
I think Qi can’t charge on a fully discharged device ? I thought this is the reason that it’s a different type of charger. For phone, if fully discharged it will insist on cable which is not possible for a watch.

Which mode are you using at gym? I’m currently using adaptive mode as well at gym and it feels something’s off lol. Curious on what your settings are

You probably don’t have the updated yet. Make sure your iPhone is on iOS 17 and try the tips to help your AirPods Pro to update automatically.

Upgraded to type C Gen 2 from Gen 1 Airpods Pro, there's insane amount of difference altogether...
I don’t really like adaptive mode because I hear this constant white noise in the background. I don’t feel like the noise cancellation works in well.

There is a way to force update them. I called Apple and:
Charge fully
Pair to phone
Play music for 10 sec
Put both back in case
Close case
Set it and phone down
Wait 30 mins
Don’t open case early.
Worked on both pairs I updated.
