  • In todays Busan travel vlog, we will be showing you the best spots to see Korea cherry blossoms season in Busan Korea! and if you stick around to the end of the video and you'll also get to see how magical cherry blossoms look at night !
    I'm often asked, where are the best places to see cherry blossoms in Busan ? so we went to every single popular cherry blossom hotspot in Busan and we narrowed the whole list down to our own top 4 spots to see cherry blossoms in Busan.
    First let me tell you that this was no easy task, because every place that we went to was so beautiful, but we took a few things into consideration when coming up with our list.
    The criteria to qualify for the best places to see the cherry blossoms in Busan had to be as follows;
    1) the area must have an EPIC amount of cherry blossoms
    2) the area must be easily accessible, so that tourists and sightseers won't have a difficult time commuting.
    So in the end, we narrowed our choices of the BEST places to see the cherry blossoms in Busan down to 2 major locations that each and every one of you are probably familiar with.. Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach.
    Gwangalli Beach will have EASY access to 2 of the cherry blossom locations, and Haeundae Beach will also have easy access to the other 2 cherry blossom spots.
    First let's discuss the ones closest to Gwangalli Beach
    Behind Gwangalli beach, there is the 2nd tallest mountain in all of Busan, called Hwangnyeongsan Mountain. From Gwangalli beach, it's a relatively cheap taxi ride to the top of the mountain, and along the way, you'll enjoy a scenic drive where the cherry blossom trees are lined on both sides, and at the top, you'll see one of the most breathtaking views in all of Korea.
    Right beside Gwangalli beach, you'll find a group of apartment buildings called samack beach town. This area is a well known hotspot for cherry blossom trees with ALL the locals here. The cherry blossom trees here are mature and you won't believe how lush and vibrant the cherry blossom trees here are. The streets here are also lined with cherry blossom trees, and the branches from both sides stretch out and cover the entire road!
    Now let's discuss Haeundae Beach
    On one side of the beach, you'll find an area called dalmaji road. It's actually located right above haeundae blueline park, which you saw from my previous video. So this area is SUPER easy to get to. One side of the street is lined with cherry blossom trees, however once you get past the halfway point to Songjeong beach, both sides of the street become lined with cherry blossom trees. Dalmaji hill is an amazing place to hang out. There are also tons of amazing restaurants, cafes and even a really nice spa / jimjilbang here. So if you come here, try to plan out the whole afternoon or day... its really a great place to hang out while enjoying both amazing views of the cherry blossoms, but also a spectacular view of the ocean and the rest of Haeundae.
    On the other side of the beach, you'll find an area called Marine city. You can simply walk over there, find either the - Home Plus - store ( google maps / naver maps to find it ) and its right across the street. OR . find the apartment buildings called Daewoo Marina, and the cherry blossom trees are right behind those apartments! The cherry blossom trees here are breathtaking! The street here is also lined on both sides with cherry blossom trees and the branches from both sides hang over and completely cover the road. This area feels magical during the day and especially at night! So if you are staying in Haeundae, and you're here during cherry blossom season, take an hour out of your schedule and check out the cherry blossom trees here!
    I hope that you all enjoyed our list of the top places to see cherry blossom trees in Busan Korea! Which area was your favorite? And what would you like to see in our next episode?

      Hey @GomoSF Thank you so much for watching !! Cherry blossom season starts around the 3rd week of March and finishes in early April.
      Of course this will change from year to year depending on the weather, but if you want to catch the peak season, I'd aim to come to Korea during the last week of March

      @@SomewhereinKorea Thanks, Guys! You rock it!
      I'm struggling to know how can I go from the Busan Station to Haeundae beach. Is it the best way by those turism bus? By subway, or getting a cab?
      Willing for more videos as well! The captures are amazing!

    • @SomewhereinKorea
      @SomewhereinKorea  Год назад +1

      @Enzo Santos that's actually really easy. Also, it depends on your budget. I personally just recommend cabbing everywhere. That way, you won't have a difficult time + the cab to haeundae Beach will go over the gwangalli bridge.. so you'll get an amazing view of the city.. but that costs a little more.. maybe $15-$20 or so
      Bus ( line 1003 ) and subway ( line 1 to seomyeon ((downtown area)) then transfer to metro line 2 to haeundae beach ) are both much less expensive, but it'll take you longer and you might have a difficult time figuring things out. Subway is honestly a little confusing.. and you'll have to walk with your luggage from the subway station to your hotel/airbnb. Bus might be more straightforward than subway

      Hey Diana 👋 the best time to see the cherry blossoms in Busan is the last week of March - the first week of April 😀
      It does start earlier, but it looks the prettiest once the petals start to fall
