Brought tears to my eyes...Stones recorded it based on her version 60 years ago and to think they are singing in together in 2024 is unbelievable and so awesome!!!
This is a epic and beautiful performance 🎉🎉. Mick, kudos to you for having a national treasure from New Orleans up on the stage performaning with you ❤️ 💜
I feel like the Stones have always payed respect to the fact that their major musical influences were black. I hope that the people who directly inspired them feel respected and properly acknowledged for their contributions
@@headleygrange6205 The Rolling Stones' love for black music is second to none. Therefore, in the opinion of some people, it seems strange that the Rolling Stones will not be able to sing brown sugar in concert.
Good to see the 'oldies' doing something positive in USA. It's a pity the constitution can't be amended to let Mick and Keith run for the Presidency. Ron could then be Secretary of State. If it has to be a US citizen, why not Bob Dylan
Amazing that time was on our side to see this actually happen.

This is epic. A wonderful pairing with Irma Thomas. This gets me right in my heart.
I was hoping they'd bring this one back to the stage. Performing it with Irma Thomas is fantastic. The Stones are great.

That was beautiful! Thank-you so much for posting this ❤️🎸😎👍
What a great moment for Irma and really ALL the musicians from New Orleans area!
We had a great time hearing/seeing this yesterday as well!
Three of the ones on the stage are over 80 years old, and they all sound like heavenly angels. What a wonderful treat.
Legendary performance!❤️
Historical...bout time this happened....goosebumps all around.
It's a great duett-dialog between Irma & Mick. Love it!
More than magic......
Great angle, great sound- Thank you for sharing!
That's a lot of respect for Irma Thomas by The Rolling Stones
It was her song. White people always appreciated black people's songs.

Mick has more hair than I had in my 30's. Amongst other things!
Jazz fest is like a time capsule.
I bet they hooked up and did the wild thing after the show - she taught Mick a few new tricks
The Stones anthem.. or truth in advertising.
😺👍
