just brought this, when i copy and paste the flame object and use cycles render, there's a dark color at the edge of the flames. but it's looks normal when using eevee. i'm using blender 3.6
when i try to append "flame source" into my own blend files some of the nodes don't load right and there are missing data block(s). is there another way to use this in my own project?
So I'm using this in cycles but then it has this black borders at the edge of the fire, I have been messing with the nodes trying to see if it's from the alpha channel. Please is there a way to fix this
Im confused, I bought it and loaded up the blend, but it doesn't look like this video... it looks tiled almost, not very random looking at all any help?
i need a tutorial how to attach the fire into my object, i did add flame generator in modifiers, in solid mode i did see fire but there is nothing in render. need tutorial how to use, please
@@Specoolar I have figured it out. thanks. the problem is that I'm new to Blender and had no idea to use geometry node or what it is. and I think every newbies else are just like me. Maybe next time its better to have a full tutorial video how to use it for new folks.
Hi, thanks! No need to install it, it's not an addon. It's geometry nodes setup, you can just copy and paste into your scene. Add your objects into "flame source" collection to emit flame from them
Easiest way is to copy the flame object and paste to other scene, assign your flame source collection to "Emit from collection" parameter in modifiers tab

That's very cool!

@@SleeplessDylan64 Hello! Thanks 😄
Seeing a fellow GIS alumni make it is very satisfying. Keep up the good work Mikey
i will buy it for sure ! is there a way to change the color ? to attribute it to a moving object ? a objet being deformed ?
Yes, you can change the color. On moving/deforming objects it might look slightly unnatural as it is just a procedural animation, not a simulation
@@Specoolar a question taht may be strange but : is there a way to make it more "fluid" ? like honey or water ?
I wish this was free but is there a way to recreate this kind of fire without addon?
how can i attach these flames to other objects ?
Select the flame object, in the modifiers tab there is "Emit From Collection" property, assign the collection of your objects to this property

Hi! In Render Settings, under "Light Paths" menu, try increasing "Transparent" light bounces count.

Will this work with Blender 3.6 LTS and potentially 4.0?
Hi! Yes, it works with 3.6. I haven't tried with 4.0 yet, but it should work there too.
@@Specoolar Thank you, I will purchase this soon 👍

hi, i bought it today, but as someone mentioned before, im getting trasnparent flame.
Hi! Do you mean the flame is invisible?
@@Specoolar i got it. basically we have to put the object that we want to be flamed on into the source collection
Can we use it for candle light(flame) using its settings?
It's better for medium sized flames. Small sized flames may not look right
Ok...
Thanks...😊

Hi, are rendering to png? png format doesn't support additive colors and hdr format. It is recommended to use EXR format for these. Thanks
