Awesome show coverage! Thanks for showing some love to the more obscure conventions, especially ones that celebrate such incredible talent and creativity.
+LIMIT CYCLE His works are actually heavily influenced by Takayuki Takeya- one of the leading artistic mind of the early Japanese Tokusatsu industry. So I wouldn't say his style is as innovative as Giger.
I swear I have no idea how he sculpts so well I can only dream of being half as good. I stumbled upon his work one day on Instagram and fell in love with it immediately!
wow this guys sculptures are freaking amazing I would love to have one of these in my room. I love how he mixes the sculpting and the metal together looks great in one piece.
That's my first like from since a long time for you Tested guys (not including Adam's videos). Just amazing sculptures, also I'm glad Frank did the interview.
+2007suprasport Oh come on, nobody is born with any specific talent. You're undervaluing him if that's what you think. It takes hard work and passion to achieve this level of skill.
andyfilms na, yeah, I agree I think the talent is just incredible but yeah, no one is born like that. ..you gotta be super passionate about your work, continue to develop and perfect your craft over a life time. Forsure! almost like how professional athletes start while their like 2 yrs old.
When in an interview, and someone asks about your creation, "Did you conceive this whole thing first, or work it out as you go?". ALWAYS say you conceived of it first. Because it makes you look a more creative artist, and your success as an artist is defined by others belief in your creativity!
His artwork makes me think a lot about Japanese Horror. It also reminds me a lot about video game/movies like Resident Evil, maybe Dead Space, Dark Souls, and Silent Hill type of style. Any others anyone can think of? Also, his artwork is AMAZING!
i have been saving up for a boosted board dual plus and i called a retailer near me and they said they heard there is a new board coming out. should i wait to buy the new one or just buy this one?
his art is amazing, i want to learn how to paint with layers of resin, i assume it like making the 3d resin koi fish in how you layer everything to create that special translucency and depth
That stuff is fucking amazing!!! :O Like... What the hell... I didn't even know people could get this creative with a bunch of clay, paint and Silicone. With guys like Akihito, i now dub it officially a sin to use CGI for human-scaled monsters in movies.
this is one of the cooler things ive seen from this channel, would love to see more of akihito
That was beautiful. You can really see Frank's enthusiasm which is totally infectious.
THANK YOU!!! I'm loving all of these interviews from Monsterpalooza.
