Fantastic discussion tonight gentlemen. Loved the topic and was completely entertained with your categorization of the Shellhead's on your list. A peculiar point, in 20 years Hasbro ML have produced 31 comic based I.M. action figures. That equates to one every 8 months. Fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of I.M. with three variants, however the ML I own is the must-have 20th anniversary. Out of all my variants, ML's is the one I have wanted all along. Thanks for the video. (perhaps a really good scaled Hulkbuster might make a good Haslab idea?)
For me a HasLab Hulkbuster would be excessive. I really only want it to be about the size of the baf or the Iron Monger/Detroit Steel. If they can do those are regular release then I don't think anyone including me would want to pay a HasLab price on it. I still really like the ToyBiz one but it's a little too short.
@@thestrongcollectors Interesting. I believe I may be swayed with the size of the 'Buster in the MCU and pre-determined its size as such. Funny, I feel the Marvel Select variant slightly short as well. And Select's are larger scales!
I think Extremis and the first release of the modular armor are the best Iron-Man figs. The must have red and yellow look on your guys list is actually a figure I personally avoided getting even after seeing it a dozen times, just not a cool look to me. Fun video, thanks.
We rarely ever have any of our figures displayed unmasked so the Tony Stark heads never really move the needle much for me. The 80th does have a lot of accessories though.
Great list! Was a big fan of Iron Man when I was a kid and was happy for many years with the Series 1 ToyBiz (!!) ML Iron Man with Stark display stand. Eventually got rid of him, Toybiz War Machine and Mandarin but later won the Habsro Invincible Iron Man figure in a Mercari lot. While I loved the Tony head sculpt and extra mini arm cannon, I simply hated his "Ironheart"-esque) helmet design on that one and got rid of him too but kept that cool Stark head. Then I was overjoyed they released the 90s red and gold Modular Armor that I was able to display with the Tony head and holding the helmet.

Hey. Nice one guys. You did forget the Invincible (Okoye wave) Iron Man tho. He’s got the same body as the Invincible stealth one you did rank … so I guess he’d be C/D on the board … 🤷🏽♂️
Great topic, gentlemen. I'm quite agree with the list. My only difference is that I prefer the WCA Silver Centurion. That white is very comic accurate and fits better with the whole team. Only have 5 IM, enough for now (I started to collect Marvel L in september and now I have +120 figures plus Galactus, total Marvel Madness): Model 1, 20th, Stealth, Silver and Alex Ross. Very happy with the first four 👌🏽 Keep the good vibes
I think that's a great amount. Even though we've had a lot of these right now I have 10 and that's maybe 1 or 2 too many. I'll probably upgrade the Ultimate Iron Man if Hasbro makes a new one, get a comic Hulkbuster if they make one and get the gold Mk1 armor. Other than that I don't know why I would need another... I say now and watch hasbro puts out another I want this weekend.
For us I think we both like the 20th anniversary Ironman best. He's surprisingly cheap right now too. If you need a specific look for a more modern team he might not work as well but as far as a good classic looking Ironman goes he's pretty cool.
You guys should rank every marvel legends spiderman, venom, deadpool etc etc. Give me all the rankings! But the caveat is its gotta be every single release. Even the toybiz
