    This is excellently explained, wouldn't have been able to do my homework without this!

    Your flownet videos have been very helpful. Thank you.

    How do you read Za=13 from given scale...please explain....did you multiply 10 with any value?

  • @bradvincent2586
    @bradvincent2586 3 года назад +2

    How did you get your units of m^3/sec/meter. That is unclear. Also your estimation of 30 meters from the 10 meter scale was unclear. If it’s not clear how it’s unclear, me explaining why won’t help

    We do have the same problem
    May I know how do you compute hydraulic uplift force at the base of hydraulic structure per meter length?
    I hope you can help me with my assignment.

    Thank you so much sir ....Good explaination........but how u calculated Za sir????

    • @uSeeGeo
      @uSeeGeo  3 года назад

      Za is read directly from the figure using the provided scale.

      Just measure from ground level to the point A and convert in to the given scale

    May i know is the total stress at point A be 13m x Saturated density + (10+13) x 9.81?

    • @uSeeGeo
      @uSeeGeo  3 года назад +2

      Total stress at A would be 13m x saturated unit weight of the soil. Btw, an updated version of this example has been posted: ruclips.net/video/wVDl-kIuKgo/видео.html

    How do you convert m³/sec/m to m³/day/m

    • @PCgamerChannel

      *60*60*24
      just basically mutiply how many seconds are in a day

    • @ryanmillington8740
      @ryanmillington8740 Год назад

    why have we calculated Za? and what is Za?

    • @uSeeGeo
      @uSeeGeo  3 года назад +1

      Za is the elevation head, needed in finding the pressure at A.

    • @selfacheiver_
      @selfacheiver_ 3 года назад

      If there is not given elevation head then how I calculated

  • @SachinKumar-jg2rx
    @SachinKumar-jg2rx 3 года назад +1

    How you calculated elevation head 13m?

    • @uSeeGeo
      @uSeeGeo  3 года назад +2

      The elevation head of A is the distance from point A to the reference datum. For this example, this distance is directly measured from the graph (as the scale indicating 10m is given).
