- Here's a look at what it's like to ride the new @builttothrill backyard coaster that blew our minds when it officially opened on May 20, 2023. Featuring a full-on station complete with operation panels, professional grade tracking, three feet (1m) deep footers, an insane airtime hill, as well as immersive theming that includes a self-written audio soundtrack and background story announcement. This homemade wooden shuttle coaster is so over-the-top, it even includes the seat belt/safety bar/hand and feet inside the car spiel, as well as downtime and resuming-operation announcements.

In terms of track quality, this is by far the best backyard coaster however there’s many others with better layouts

The fact that some people are saying that this isnt a good backyard coaster is wild. It almost has the quality of a coaster in a theme park AND it was built by a 17 year old??? It doesn’t have to be intense like a modern coaster established in a theme park for it to be good.
Anyways, this is an amazing creation! Absolutely blows me away just from looking at it

Looks smooth, but the Oklahoma Land Run Backyard Roller Coaster is the worlds best backyard coaster for sure.

Man, back in the late 2000s I use to watch tons, and TONS of backyard roller coaster videos (Considering I was playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, 2, and 3 at that time), and seeing people make these coasters in real life made me wish I knew how to build one like these. These ones are SOOO much fun to build (if you know how to make one that is).
